The Dr here is amazing. He remembers your pet. Not like some big corporate business that's just out for money. This Dr actually takes his time with your pet & legitimately cares about every animal he sees & YOU & what you may be going through with your pet at that time. I have brought in several cats for treatment at this office & the Dr will ask about the other cats during visits because he remembers them. I had a cat that was hit by a car at 10 years old & I brought him to this pet hospital & they were absolutely amazing. It was an after hours call & the dr & staff came in & met me there. I don't know what i would have done. Sadly I just had to put him down in July Of this year. He lived to be and astonishing 18.5 years old. And when it was time to say goodbye, I brought him here. The staff & Dr were all so loving, gentle, kind & supportive. I couldn't be more grateful. If you are looking for a Dr that actually cares, this is the place!

We brought our dog there for her 1st check up and we were very pleased. The staff is very friendly and caring. We were kept informed of every aspect of her visit from shots to choices of treatment for ticks and fleas. We left feeling that our girl was well taken care of and very happy with the entire visit.

Top notch care for my cats and dogs. The staff is great. Treat you like family,very helpful from scheduling a needed appointment to calming down an animal. They follow up and are there when you need them. Dr. Maqueda is great, he really loves animals and he listens and advises so well. I've used a few local vets but I'm staying here.

When a home visit was needed, Dr. Maqueda (who was recommended by my regular vet) was at my house within hours of my initial call. Excellent care as every pet is treated like a member of THEIR family! My wife and I ended up having our baby on the exact day of the appointment for my three dogs and they called me to see how they could help reschedule and make it easier on my wife and myself. You seriously cannot go wrong using them and trusting them with your pets! A HUGE thank you for all you do for us!

Our regular vet was away and by recomendation I brought my Great Dane in with dehydration. Dr. Maqueda was so kind and helpful. My dog is so shy with people but warmed right up to the entire staff. Very nice people and office is clean.

I brought my cat in after he was seen at another vet. My cat needed surgery right away but I'm glad for my Toby that we brought him here. I spoke with the staff and the doctor and they all treated Toby great. This vet hospital was as recommended to me by a PA that I work with and she was right !

They are caring, compassionate, and they MAKE HOUSECALLS!!!! My cats adore Dr. Maqueda, and it's obvious he is really an animal lover. It's also obvious he has worked with much bigger and more ferocious animals than cats, because he is completely nonplussed if one of our cats hisses at him - unlike other vets I have experienced who freak out. All of the support staff are super nice and compassionate. I cannot recommend this vet enough. A++++++

Once again Dr.Maqueda and his staff to the rescue!. How do you thank someone for saving your 4 legged family member. With the current restrictions when you arrive you call the office and they will come out and take your pet inside. You discuss the treatment with the vet while seated in your car. Large parking lot in front and some parking on the side roads. Great clinic, very friendly and informative. Highly recommend.

Very unhappy with the visit! My dog had something going on with his eyes. We brought him in. Upon going we (the owners) were not allowed in bc of covid? First of all would you leave your child at the pediatrician office alone ? No! This should not be asked of owners.The dr “looked at his eye” and “gave an eye exam” which who knows what he did bc we are not allowed in... brought him out gave us cream and said he looks fine and if it does not clear up we need to go to a specialist !Wait what?? A vet specialist never even heard of such a thing!We asked him to cut his nails bc they were long and he said they were fine!Fast forward we went for a second opinion and guess what... he has an ulcer in his eye!!!! They did the exam correctly! With dye and a black light.!And we were allowed in bc they have covid protocols like everywhere else!Oh and his nails were long and got cut!This is a clear case of laziness and I’m not happy about it!So we were charged for a visit that we don’t even know what took place ! Over $100 of wasted money and wasted time !

I was so worried my old man would be upset due to the new restrictions. He went in alone and came out happy!!!! He seriously fights with everyone and some how Anthony won him over!!!! Dr. M came outside and talked to me and really listened to what i said. Even thought i was outside i still felt like i was a part of the treatment and Pringles was in the best hands. Im glad i was reccomended to come here. I would tell anyone who is looking for a vet, this is the place to go!!!! You can tell they love the animals and they are sweet and polite. I will never go anywhere else again!!

Dr. Maqueda made time to see our cat Prowler on short notice to take care of an abscess. He is obviously very comfortable in doing what he does and it's obvious to me how much he cares by making time to take care of our cat. Thank you!

I have always had multiple animals and have therefore always needed and have sought out quality animal services. For 24 years in NYC I had the close proximity and luxury of the BOBST Animal Hospital. I find Dr. Maquedas Veterinary service to be on the same caliber of quality veterinary care. I am taking the time to write this review because on those horrific occaisions of a beloved animal emergency, Dr. Maqueda and his staff went above and beyond to treat the injury and or disease, as well as to care for and comfort my dear pet in a way that could only be matched by myself - if I had the degree of a veterinarian. The office staff and service are all very considerate and thorough. The examination rooms and waiting rooms are immaculate and comforatble as well.The best of care here, your pet will thrive. ( My animals don't even panic when I walk them in.)

While I can go a short walk to a veterinary clinic, we choose to bring all our animals, rescues and household companions, to the Bullville Animal Hospital. We ALWAYS get an immediate return call in emergencies and Dr. Maqueda accomodates the circumstances which are rarely "normal" in a crisis. When I lived in NYC I used to go to the BOBST Animal Hospital. Dr. Maqueda's clinic is the next best thing to the big animal hospital and he, his staff and family are very caring and competent.I recommend this clinic highly!!

Terrible very expensive and said my beloved dog would probably pull through. Also diagnosed her wrong she passed 3 days later. Was told by another vet that if she was diagnosed correctly she may have been saved.

Absolutely amazing service on all field's, they were wonderful both my baby made sure she was comfortable and we're very sweet when she decided to roam the back office lol, I went in from a referral from my normal veterinarian with an emergency, and was welcomed warmly from the first step in the door, before arriving I called to asked if they accepted mobile pay to which I was told yes, after our appointment when time to pay I was told I couldn't use mobile pay, I didn't get upset or even bring it up it was just more of a process to enter my card in, after leaving the receptionist actually called me on my way home to apologize to say that there was mobile pay and she just didn't know how to set it up and wanted to apologize for causing an inconvenience

They post all their own reviews. Honestly all you have to do is go there and you will see this place is NOT 5 stars at all. Going there speaks for itself. Many other great vets out there. This is not one if them. They will say this is made up and this client doesn't exist but I do. just a negative and wierd experience. Not recommended!
