Your new paint system to make a mix does not work. I brought my old paint that your store made with the formula sticker on it and after 4 attempts and 45 minutes they were not able to mix the paint by the formula sticker on the old paint I brought in it the eye that scanner the old color. I can see if I brought in old paint that was mixed from Home Depot but you made the paint yourself and your actual location. All I am asking is try to find a better way to mix paints for customers because I wanted at least 45 minutes and still unable to get the paint I came in for.****Update Home Depot was able to match the paint in 10 minutes and for half the price you would have charged if you were able to match the paint.

I rated this one 5 starts is because they help you really sincerely!I needed to fix a light onto a ceiling, I went to Home Depot first, but the stuff they give me is not working, the screws are too big, not fit!( I did not mean Home Depot is not good, they are good, I also give them five starts). So I went to this valu that is closed to my rental property, this old gentleman, ( I feel bad didn’t remember his name) was really thoughtful, he thought all the processes that I would be done and all the problems I will have, then he pick me the right size of screws and other stuff, even explain why pick two of the little circles for me( I don’t know why I need it two). He was really professional and patient!with this visit to this store, I got my job done nicely! I rated 5 stars all because of his help to me! Thanks so much for your sincere help!

I'm always pleasantly surprised by the completeness of this store's inventory. I've incorrectly worked under the assumption that only the larger big-box stores have the items I need. I've been going to Value more and more recently and I really appreciate the smaller store size, friendliness of the employees and their willingness to immediately help you find something. They also have a very good selection of and layout for various hardware like screws, nails, nuts, bolts, etc... It's very easy to find all of the basics that you'd be looking for.

Convenient, but can't compete on price with the big box stores. An item that was $8 at Home Depot was $12 here.The other hand, they're always ready to help you find something.Update: three and a half inch brackets here were $10.50, and they were nearly out of stock . At the Big Box store four inch brackets were $10.50.Prices have gone insane everywhere.

Great smiles when I walked in but sold me a toilet that had been brought back and half the screws missing. Had to go to hardware store to purchase additional screws n washers.

If they have what you need, their prices beat Home Depot and Lowe's! Selection is pretty good for a smaller value oriented store. I'll be going back. You don't have to walk for "miles" looking for stuff you need! And parking is right up front!

I couldn't be happier. The manager tried very hard to solve our pond problem. Our new ultra Violet filter was just too big to connect to our existing pump. This value store is a 10+++

Always a great place to shop. Better than the big box store. Personal service and help if needed with taking items to the car. Usually can find everything I need. I really like Value Home Center.

We will never shop at value on Kenmore ave again! An employee told us on Thursday evening which was 3/22/19 that the valspar paint bogo sale was going until APRIL!!! We went back Sunday TWO DAYS LATER to purchase this paint & the sale was done! So I said well since she was not trained on what info to give customers, you should honor the sale still...since she is going to cost us more money. Not only would they not honor what THEIR employee said....the manager watched me leave without even picking his head up from what he was doing to offer some form of a discount. He heard me say I will just go to Lowe's or home depot & didn't even "try" to help! Never again we will be customers at that location. Retrain your employees please. They just cost us money!!!!!!!!!

Friendly, smaller sized hardware store. Way easier to navigate than Home Depot or Lowe's, and staff that ask you if you need help finding something. Nice experience.

I prefer this Value Store over the one on Elmwood and Hertel Ave. Employees seem to know more and more helpful. This Value has a smaller selection of stuff. If I need something right away! I come here instead. More time I would go to Home Depot. Prices are less at Home Depot on Elmwood. Getting the right help at Home Depot could be better. The staff sucks! They give you this vibe that they don't want to help or even be there!I got off subject. Value on Kenmore Ave is a good place to get things done! Always greeted when I go in👍🏻😃 need a part or a shower head? In and out! Good luck 👍

Wood is equal to a quality....based on feces. Then they charge more because of convenience. You have individuals that are NOT educated in certain area's. This is before and in lieu of the covid-19. You hire anyone! No experience? Send them to mighty taco. If i ask for help i expect educated help in said area not someone that says "oh this looks like it MIGHT fit your application"

Their price is higher than the home depot whereas quality is not. Use a very old fashion POS system - past order lookup without a receipt seems impossible.

Valu sets itself apart from home Depot and Lowe's by the quality of their personnel. Most of their folks are experienced in the home repair and are a great resource to the customers.
