To the kind ladies that helped me in the pharmacy yesterday 2/14/24, I am eternally grateful. You are the sweetest, caring people I have ever come across. I didn’t have any medical related problems, I was simply lost and stranded. These ladies helped me relax and get ahold of whoever I needed to get home safely. Even helped me with directions to get to where I needed to go in just in case. Overall these are great kind hearted people who have been nothing short of angels !!

love this rite aid location! the staff is friendly and helpful! they also carry beatboxes, which are my favorite alcoholic beverages!

You will NOT be able to reach anyone by phone here or in any Rite Aid store in the area. Calls will be ignored. Other than that, you'll get your prescription eventually. Wouldn't worry much as long as it's not life-saving medications. I wouldn't be rude to the staff, though. They could be understaffed.

The pharmacy was closing early for an emergency. I absolutely understand that— however I’m curious if they are able to send our reminder texts for prescriptions why is closing early not something that could be communicated via text. The pharmacy was closing at 7 we arrived a few minutes beforehand and tried to talk to the pharmacist about still picking up our prescriptions because we were going out of town. The pharmacist made direct eye contact and closed the window without even responding to us speaking to her. It’s just frustrating when you need a medication and you’re blatantly ignored.

This review is for corporate. Pay your employees a fair wage. The pharmacy staff shortage is a direct result of corporate greed. It affects our community and our physical and mental health. These medications are life saving and some are not able to show up in our lives without them. I want to reiterate that this is not the fault of the store or pharmacy employees so please don’t placate me with “we appreciate your feedback and will follow up with the store.” Do better. This is pure negligence on the part of the higher ups who are no doubt making 6+ figures.

The pharmacy is atrocious. I rarely get my prescription on the expected date and calls are often ignored. There have been many occasions where the pharmacy closes early without prior notice.The store is neat and clean, but the pharmacy is so consistently bad that it's hard to rate this place higher than a 1.

This is a nice Rite-Aid. I've never heard or seen any negative discourse. Associates treat customers with respect. They check prices of items when there's a discrepancy.Peaceful buying at this RiteAid.

I’m left with no choice but to review in hopes something is done here! This used to be the best Pharmacy in the city. It has completely gone downhill in the past 6 months. I miss the old pharmacists man and woman. Where did they go? They were everything! Seamless transactions every single time. They didn’t make the customer MAKE SEVERAL PHONE CALLS to correct an issue (which is never an issue but an ability to problem solve and understand what doesn’t look correct). The phone line circuits are always BUSY. And honestly, I hate to call it out but Colin, DO BETTER. I, for years, went here instead of my online plan which is cheaper because I loved the personal touch and now I’m finally done and fully enrolled online with Optum. He doesn’t troubleshoot issues and makes a patient call a MILLION times to solve any discrepancy. I was pretty much dying one night in that pharmacy waiting for him to refresh a computer and pretty much begging him to call my doctor back, and he was more concerned with closing up the pharmacy and throwing out trash. Suffices to say I ended up in the ER because he couldn’t communicate effectively after hours with my doctor who called in a script. Understanding additional information was needed due to Regulatory requirements but why did I have to do his job and call the nurse on duty? I would have not had to have EXPENSIVE emergency care and emergency surgery had he been able to review the system when my doctor called. It’s actually pathetic how many calls I’ve had to make to solve things that he says are problems, but are not. Even today! He didn’t bill things correctly and I’m left scrambling at the hospital trying to figure out if I would get my antibiotic because he told me another pharmacy filled it!?!? That was never the case, he misinformed me, made assumptions, and didn’t care to gather accurate information - since my doctor wrote it yesterday - it was billed yesterday. I called the OptumRx line and they literally told me in 25 seconds, he didn’t bill it right, I see the problem right here. Enough is enough. I’m a nice person, I’m sure Colin is as well, but the level of complete neglect and laziness is 100% unnecessary and unconscionable. Had I not seen other reviews regarding similarities I probably wouldn’t have written this. But we need an all hands on deck problem solving group training. The reason why they are so busy is simple - unnecessary rework of unproductive non-value add tasks. I cannot!!

I like the products, I like the sales and I like the 20 percent off for seniors. What I don't like lately is they rarely if ever answer the phone if you have a question for the pharmacy. Have gone in and been told my Doctor's office has to call for a scriptDoctors office say they have talked to them. Been told several times that they don't have something in stock and it will be in the next day. No call the next day. Sometimes no meds. for a week. This has happened multiple times. I go because it's across the street, but this is really frustrating. They really obviously need more help. Adding this. They don't have the 10% or 20% off anymore. It really helped and made it worth going there. Since covid their sales ads are not in the flier delivered.

Phone calls are never answered especially in pharmacy department. This store needs to be under new management. How would I know if my prescription was received if they don't answer the phone!!!! There is nothing wrong with their phone system...they just don't answer the phone. I Will be using another pharmacy.

I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. Trying to get anything filled here involves multiple phone calls, most of which aren’t picked up, and at least a half hour of waiting in the store. This store has made me understand Kafka’s bureaucratic hell.

Never had any issues with this Rite Aid. Medication sometimes filled with out asking via my physician. If cost can be too much for out of pocket with my health insurance I can always get a Rite Aid discount. All the employees are friendly and pharmacist are prompt and knowledgeable. Patrick is the best. Who ever has complaints are unfounded. I do think the cost for things are a little high though. But no complaints from myself.

I was told to down load their app to ask for refills and other prescriptions. I did, so when I need a medication I put the request on the app. and inform them about the time that I am going to pick up. I can check the app and find out when the med. is ready. It is very convenient.

This store Not up to standards, slow staff, not fully stocked, disorganized, personnel not helpful, do not call when script ready, gouging on cash customers at the register and do not honor quoted prices. There is a Walgreens 1/10 of a mile away. Sorry. THANK YOU. I have give one star to post but I wouldn't.

My phone calls are almost never answered, and I get hung up on. I've run out of medication that I need refilled and I don't know how long I'll be going without them. I've come in person and they told me that my doctor needs to call, my doctor calls and I'm sure that no one has answered the phone. my issue with my prescription hasn't been solved for a week now.

Staff is great in person but you can never get through. No one picks up the phone in the pharmacy or the store. They must be severely understaffed or their phone system doesn't work properly.

Customer service is lacking in pharmacy department. Several times, I have called to see if my prescription is ready ahead of time (they tell me that it is) and I have driven in to pick it up, and I am told that it is not ready and will need at least 20 minutes. I understand that this happens, but when I call to double check and it still happens (more than once), it is extremely frustrating.

I only shop here when absolutely necessary. Was a pharmacy customer for about 6 months, and they were terrible. The pharmacy screwed up just about everything about and every one of my multiple prescriptions.

This pharmacy waits to the last minute to fill scripts, my meds sent in the morning will be filled at 8pm, they don't call you and tell you if there is a problem, my doctor actually told them to do their jobs and call him, they have forgotten about pre-authorizations, and this was not one time, after 3x's I'm angry, 4x's, I'm changing pharmacies and writing this.
