I will definitely be coming back again!! The customer service was exceptional and truly some of the best that I’ve ever had in any store, especially from a woman named Tori. She explained everything I asked about regarding my fish tank. She is exceptionally knowledgeable, kind, and is a true representation of what great customer service looks like. Thank you so much Tori and the rest of the PetSmart crew for helping me to start my new fish tank! Make sure you stop here if you’re looking for anything for your pet!

I am extremely allergic to the kitties and cats, but I still pet them whenever I stop by PetSmart. I took my dog here when he was a puppy for training, and he learned a lot from that course. All the staff seem to know a lot, and that's very useful for lurking around in there. They also have a fancy rat for sale, and I laughed at it. Fancy rat. I want one, I want to see how fancy a rat can get.

Very disappointed in the service I got.first of all they didn’t listen to myInstruction on how to groom myPet. They shaved him completely in some areas were shorter than another. my dog was so beautiful and had healthy fur. Sadly.Also the person that talked to me on the phone was very rude and upfront. totally disappointed in the service I received, I totally don’t recomend this place. Shame and on top of that they are extremely expensive. And on top of that it costed me $75 to groom him. But in all honestly my mini Goldendoodle was shaved to nothing. Not sure why the need to charge that much. They didn’t brush him or do anything special. He didn’t even spell good. I had to take him home and try to cut the extra hair that was left in some areas. My dog had a great grooming experience at the Petsmart on Transit in Clarence today. The staff was very friendly and they did an excellent job.

We adopted our kitten (Preston, now Archie) through the SPCA at this Petsmart location on 9/15. The staff was wonderful, very informative and took the time to educate us and make sure the kitten was a good fit for our family. We were impressed by how smooth the adoption process was and how knowledgeable the staff was. Also grateful to receive such detailed health information.

They really need a second cashier or a backup to help when the cashier gets busy/behind. A very nice employee did eventually come up front, but it took some time and the line was getting long.

Overall good store. Has the supplies I need. I work over at the aquarium in niagara falls. But I do live further south and keep fish as a personal hobby. I've stopped by a couple times in recent weeks as I acquire supplies to upgrade from a 20 to 40 gallon tank. I was not buying fish during my last visit. But I did overhear an interaction that concerned me a bit. An employee told a man that tropical fish needed an absolute minimum of 84 degrees F to live in. 84-86 degrees is on the high end of what they should be kept at. Most are fine between 78-82. I found myself somewhat concerned that new hobbyists could take this information and end up overheating their finned friends by trying to keep them around 90F.

I hate making an appointment for the groomers to get there and find out the rabies vaccination had expired but they couldn't tell me that ahead of time. My puppy has bad anxiety. This is the second time this has happened. I know it is our responsibility to have it but I was told at the last checkup he was up to date. That was 2 weeks earlier.

8/11/22 -Well this is a disappointment. We took Kipper in to Petsmart for his grooming appointment and they rejected him. They said that because he is so old he might fall or injure himself in some way and that I needed to take him to a private groomer. Apparently Kipper is a "Corporate Liability".Petsmart is a corporation and I learned the hard way that I should be supporting my small, local groomer. He still runs around the backyard and up and down the steps. They acted like it was time to put him "out to pasture"...The individual groomers are very kind but corporate is a corporation.***************************************************************We had our dog groomed by Chris at the Clarence Store and he did a fantastic job! Even better, our dog was completely calm when we dropped him off because Chris seems to be a dog whisperer and was also calm when we picked him up. This is pretty unusual for Kipper. He's usually freaking out. We will absolutely be back. Kipper looks super! Thank you so much for taking such good care of our dog.

This is a nice pets smart. We had a quick stop last week were we picked up our new beta fish Moonie. Hes been doing well and hasnt die yet! On a real note the store was fairly clean it has a lot of signage up in regards to covid. It also has markings on the floor. They are doing pick up as well. It wasnt busy the day we went and they had a good variety of Beta fish of all price ranges. Our fish was $7.00 and is a beautiful little guy. We are very thankful for him.

I took my dog to your groomer Mari she needed a bath and nails her regular groomer has bee out I’ll and I needed to get her to someone. I am so please she had bowed in her hair and looked just the way I hoped I will go back for sure when needed . Colleen and Ali!

I took my dog to get groomed at the clearance location by Brittany and it doesn’t even look like she did anything to my dog. He was still damp from his bath and it doesn’t even look like she gave him a hair cut besides behind his legs!! I will not be coming back again!! You should have professionally and not amateurs!!

We went to get my daughter setup with her first fish. The sales associate was helpful, knowledgable, and really made sure we got the best initial setup. I would recommend this PetsMart to anyone looking to get their first pet.

830 apt to get dogs nails trimmed. I arrive 835 wait at the door 5 min because they don't open till 10 on Sunday. Guy let's me in stand in grooming area 10 min before someone greets me only to tell me that they called me a few minutes ago (never got the call ) they canceled my appointment and I would need to reschedule. There was 1 other person in the store waiting no one else. Typical service from big corporations. Will be using a local groomer from now on.

I go to Pet Smart all the time for pet food. I like the selection of wet and dry foods, litters (I have 2 cats) and accessories. Being that they are so big I think they could do more to educate buyers on the goods they have for pets. I recently saw a video by Jackson Galaxy about cat foods and I learned a lot. I always buy what are proprted to be top line foods (Blue Buffalo, Blue Wilderness, Nulo, Merrick - a lot of brands which are also carried by PetCo). Turns out a thickener called carrageenan is found in a couple of the upscale brands that I just mentioned (the others did not) but it is very bad for cats health and stomachs. These brands are also sold at PetCo which is surprising. It is also surprising there are very few brands that absolutely say they what the percentage of proteins and fat are. They just say a minimum of a certain number. Since protein and water are a vital part of a cats diet this should be more specific. Also the first 4 or 5 ingredients should come from meats or fish otherwise what protein are they getting? Did you know the shreds and morsels in the food are not meat a lot of the time? I encourage Pet Smart to help educate buyers to make better choices for their dogs and cats or whatever pet they have. I am considering buying Smalls for my cats be a use with the prices of even a small can of food it just can't be that much more expensive. Since it seems Nestles make a lot of different brands of pet foods (at least cats for sure) they should consider their pricing.

Was told to bring our dog in for nail trimming, no appointment necessary. We went on Friday right around 5pm, they closed earlier than their posted 8pm, due to staff shortages. So today's visit was scheduled by upper management to assure we could be seen. An appointment probably should have been scheduled, when we contacted them the very first time. It's a shame about staff shortages. They do a great job!

Chris did amazing job on my golden doodle. I was really happy with how he took his time to give our dog a nice style. In the past I’ve had stylist act frustrated because my dogs hair is so thick, it’s hard to cut. Chris was friendly and nice and kept our dog at ease. We plan on coming back there.

Very disappointed in taking my dog there to be groomed. Staff must have been brand new, didn’t know their service or products very well. Didn’t approach my dog the right way and then refused to take her. There’s a reason 5 groomers we’re standing around not doing anything. Would take my dog anywhere but here in the future and will not be recommending!

I got a gift card to Pet Smart. I used it went to use it for kitty litter. It seemed simple enough.I had to give them my name, phone number and email address to get the sale price so I could get their spam. Then the gift card didn't work! They took the money!

The training was hilariously bad.The trainer kept calling my dog’s name repeatedly when he didnt pay attention to the trainer. That is one of the worst thing to do.It was for some trick class, and one of the training was doing command shown on a sign. The trainer had pieces of brown beer box and wrote words on it with a sharpie. And the dogs were supposed to read that and do tricks. It didnt work of course. It was black writing on brown paper. Dogs were just doing something until the trainer/owner was happy.Go to professional trainers locally instead.

Wonderful, organized and clean shop for most pet supply needs. They have a great assortment of supplies, food, toys, housings for most types of pets. If its pet related, there's a very good chance you will find it here. Over the past few years they have scaled down the amount of live animals available for purchase, so if that's what you're looking for its best to look elsewhere. They do still have a great assortment of fish available, so it's a good option for aquarium needs.

Horrible experience.Never book with Sam she lacks customer service skills and will mistreat your pet. My dog is traumatized from the treatment she received from Sam. Will never book with Sam again nor this location the store manager made excuses for her behavior by saying “Saturday’s is the busiest day in the salon”. Unacceptable very disappointed.
