We use the store mostly for grooming for our dog. The groomers are fabulous - kind and talented. This grooming service is timely and safe. 100% recommend. I wish the store was cleaner inside and out.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The store was clean and mostly organized. Prices were clearly marked. I found what I was looking for quickly and had a quick checkout. I couldn’t ask for anything more.This store is also conveniently located near other stores that I frequent so needing to make a quick purchase here has never been an issue.

Took my puppy Benji to be groomed for the first time. He's a 9 month old Shih Tzu. Thought it would be a good spa day for him. Granted he only had a few matted spots. He was mangled and shaved bald. Terrible uneven haircut. He hasn't been the same since. He's been hollering out in pain, and running around, no smiles, and very clingy. He barely eats anymore, and he's been shaking a lot. Not sure what happened during the grooming, but my pup is depressed, you can see it in his face. Arielle B was the groomer for my pup on 08/27/2023. Won't be back, need to find a better groomer. I didn't receive the cologne spritz or banana either. Terrible service!!!

I travelled from Canada to buy a tarantula today and Paul helped me get it and was super informative. When i went to pay, my bank started being funny with using my card in the States and the girl with pink hair (im sorry i didn’t look at her name tag) was so incredibly patient, kind and so sweet. She helped me locate an ATM so i could finally finalize my purchase and the rest of the team were great too. 10/10 for this petsmart and its team.

Took our puppy yorkies for their first professional grooming. We’ve been grooming them at home for months so they’re used to the equipment. Spent $80 + tip and they look exactly the same. Their cuts are uneven and all I asked them to do is make it even because we had just given them cuts about a week before. The only difference we can see is their paw pads…those look good but that’s about it Waste of money. Never again. We’ll just continue to do it ourselves and learn as we go. Staff was nice but what tf were they doing for two hours because they surely were not grooming our dogs.

I recently adopted a Great Dane puppy and was a little confused about what food to feed him, his vet appointment was 2 weeks from then and I was feeding him what the people I bought him from gave me. He didn’t like that food at all. Nicole was extremely helpful helping me choose a food for my pup. She even went above and beyond by giving me tips on what to look for as he grows. I’m very thankful for her help.

Had to go to the Blvd location for grooming, won't go again. Elmwood Ave groomers are much better. Had a full bath and groom done on Murray Tues, had to vacuum the couch both Wed and Thurs due to all the hair! Never had that problem with Elmwood. They were extremely friendly and professional but apparently didn't brush him well enough.

Every few weeks, I take my puppers in here just to pick out a new toy or treat. She gets to explore and every time, no matter who is working, they stop and say hi to her and give her pets. At the checkout always gets a treat. I was in here for new shampoo this time, and the help and knowledge I received was excellent.

Great help from the lady staff. They both lifted my 125 gallon fish tank into my uhaul. So appreciative of them. Took 3 of us to get it into my house. Our turtle is a happy Lady. Thank you ladies.

We took our large dog for his first grooming at PetSmart on July 11, 2019. We were greeted by friendly staff who assessed our dog's coat and suggested an oatmeal shampoo due to his dry skin and flakiness. When we picked our dog up he was happy, his coat was shiny and soft, his nails were clipped and his ears were cleaned. We were very happy with our experience.

The store is always very clean and employees for the most part friendly. But I’m basing this review on a horrible past experience that completely changed my view on this store.Story Time:I frequent this store as it’s near my house and stopped by on my way home from the gym wearing long shorts and a see through loose tank top. I brought in my reusable bag and had my purse in it bc it was easier to throw it in there than to put it on. (This is all relevant, I swear) So I stopped bc my dog was in pain and I was looking at OTC medication I could give her and maybe some toys tooNow the medicine aisle is at the back of the store where I’m guessing the employee/stock rooms are located with employees constantly going in and out. I spent a lot of time looking at different bottles (picking them up and putting them down) and researching/reading reviews on my phone while I was there so many people asked if I needed help. I did ask a man tor some help although he didn’t know much about dog aspirin so he moved on. I noticed him hovering around but attributed it to the back room entrance being close by.At this point, I’ve probably been looking at these meds for 15/20 min. I finally pick an aspirin as well as some other items and put them into my reusable bag. I hadn’t even rounded the corner of the medicine aisle before the man who helped me earlier stopped me and accused me of shoplifting. He then asks me (thinking he’s got me) where all the items I had are, I said in my bag……( ‘obviously’ I’m thinking). He’s kind of taken aback that I said they were in my bag bc I think he thought that was my way of stealing everything. Then he asks where a certain item is that I had picked up and put back down and when I said I didn’t take/want it he didn’t believe me. Now, three things. 1.) I couldn’t hide anything in my clothes bc of them being tight and see through. 2.) this was the second to last aisle of the store! I was no where near checkout or even close to the entrance to warrant such suspicion. And 3.) WHO DOESNT USE REUSABLE BAGS TO CARRY STUFF. I’m not going to bring a bag into a store and then just carry everything in my hands with things falling to the ground. Of course I’m going to put it in the bag! So I had to empty out my whole reusable bag AND the contents of my purse while employees and customers looked on. I had never been so mortified, humiliated, and embarrassed. After not finding whatever he was looking for, he let me continue shopping without an apology from him or anyone else in the store. I was kind of shaken from the situation and decided to just grab a couple more things but the entire time he was stalking me around the store! It got to the point where I didn’t feel comfortable with him hovering so I finally just left everything and went to a different pet store for what I needed. To this day I still don’t understand what was going through his head. And I haven’t been back to that store since for fear that he’s going to start stalking/accusing me in the aisles again

This PetSmart wasn't too bad I was looking for a very specific cat food they weren't able to help me. I did look around myself a bit more until I found one that was suitable as replacement but that was something I did on my own even after asking for help. There were groups of staff that didn't seem too interested in helping anybody.

I came in here today with my sister and her dog, The young lady at the cash register was super friendly and up beat, and was very kind and patient to my sister with autism, which she unfortunately doesn’t experience much of. She made her day and deserves a raise :)

Friendly, organized, and I love that I can take my dog so that he can help me " shop " for him. I can let him smell each toy/ bone I choose n he let's me know what he likes. The biggest thing I didn't like the first time I bought 2 boxes of dewormer ( 1 for my cat, other for the dog ) it cost me $70 something at the check-out counter. I found out the next day that I could've got them both at literally half the price if I'd ordered them online first, then went to pick them up.

I am so sorry that I didn’t get her name but this fantastic young girl ( brownish hair glasses maybe 25ish) helped me out and I just would love to give her a big hug. I have a 3 mo old mini labradoodle that would not eatTried every trick in the book. Either she turned her nose to it or ate it all up one day but refused the next. She suggested bil jac picky no more and my baby is eating ❤️❤️❤️❤️
