Our dog Ozzie has been coming here for daycare for years and we absolutely loved it. Recently, my office moved so we tried sending ozzie to a new daycare that was closer to home and safe to say we will be spending the extra commute to bring him back to Pawprints by Penny. It's apparent how much the staff genuinely love the dogs and how well they care for them compared to other daycares. Ozzie is always excited when we get there in the morning and exhausted and happy when we pick him up. This is a great place to bring your dog for some exercise and socialization during the day and I 100% trust them and feel comfortable sending my dog here!

Staff here are so nice and attentive to the pups. I love coming in to pick Zara up and getting to hear all about her day. She gets home and she sleeps the rest of the day. Highly recommend!

Hurt a friend's dog and reused to take responsibility. The dog was featured to owner bleeding and had to be taken to a vet. What is wrong with this place and these people DISGUSTING!!!!

We took our dogs to Pennies all their lives 1st. Lhasa Apso (died), 2nd Shih Tzu 5 yrs. Old the ALLEN ST. locations.(never a problem ) if we perfered a certain cut they accommodate, it closed so we moved to the Niagara st. Locatio , for the last 6 months he's has had several ear infections( never before ) since going to this site we brought it to their attention that the vets felt they were not cleaning his ears.July we were unable to keep a grooming app (he was sick ) ,we missed a second app. due to traveling. When I took him in I knew he would not get his usually cut ,I expected a little shorter . IAM HORRFIED at what was done to him .,he is completely BALD .,face ,ears ,body .He looks like a completely different dog. I paid for & tip before I saw him and I Didn't complain.,after five years of going there they treated him like a stranger ,with no loving care .I feel they did the quickest thing and SHAVED HIM BALD .....New locatio ,different workers = NO GOOD SERVICE. WE WILL NOT RETURN .VERY VERY DISSAPOINTED.He looks like a RAT TERRIER , Not a SHIH TZU

Apparently the groomers at the Niagara street location are not knowledgeable in the area of curly haired dogs. We have been bringing both of our dogs to this location for about 3 years. After today’s experience we will never go there again, we will not recommend them to pet owners. Our older dog is a small breed poodle mix, he has kinky curly hair. My husband dropped off the dogs off this morning, with instructions not to shave our dogs. The groomer took a comb to our dog’s hair, attempting to run it through his very thick, kinky, curly hair, stating that he was matted all over. NOT TRUE!!!!! I just bathed him 2 days ago, brushed him as I dried his fur, with EASE!!! They butchered his fur, he has no curls left, his tail is completely bald, his ears are RIDICULOUSLY short and still filled with hair!!!!! My husband said that the groomer with whom he spoke to was very unpleasant, and if I had to guess, lazy as well. YOU DO NOT SHAVE POODLES BALD!!! I will be sharing our experience today with everyone that I know that takes their dogs to this location, as well on social media. Two stars for our younger dog, at least he isn’t completely bald!!!!!!!!! I am so disappointed and disgusted . Unfortunately my husband paid before they brought our dogs out to him, otherwise we would not have paid for the butcher job let alone a tip.Side note: from the looks of it, our dogs were groomed by 2 different people. Also, they charge extra if your dog is matted, makes me wonder.

Gravy has been there for grooming 4 times and not only does he love it so much, I love the work they do. They are so friendly and welcome him so nicely. He loves going there so much. I can't recommend in this place anymore!

My dog is always super excited to come here! They really know your pup and give you a little run down on how the day went when you pick them up. I also appreciate their flexibility. Wonderful grooming services too!

after hearing many great things about Pawprints by penny from dog owner friends, we decided to give them a try. we live well outside the city,and our old groomer was very convenient and did a so -so job, but teh prices were really getting up there (145 each dog - big fuzzy dogs) and the service was ok ...) I called penny . She took time to talk with me and answer all my questions. She has worked with all sorts of dogs, and owns horses. so she is "my kind of people!" I loved how she let our dogs (who are rescues and can be shy/nervous) just visit and have a slow groom the first time, just to get to know her. when we got our puppy, she suggested having him in day care for a few hours and she took breaks just putting him on the table to get him used to being brushed and being there. everything was done thoughtfully and with patience and care. To me, that is even more important that the groom or cut. She gives great feedback on how the dogs did, and so do her staff. The prices are clearly spelled out - no surprises, and very reasonable. I drive downtown, drop them off, call in the afternoon for a pick up time, and go get them. They look and smell great, and they are happy to go back - no fear or anxiety. staff is friendly an penny is the best, highly reccommend!

Penny is the best and most patient groomer in town. Our one dog is very high needs and hates going to the groomer. Penny is the only one who's been able to take him and does a great job while keeping him calm.

The staff are wonderful, give me information on how my dog is behaving and how to help him. I like the daily photos posted on Facebook.Unlike another daycare in the area, my dog is relaxed and tired when I pick him up here instead of stressed and energetic like he’d spent the day in a kennel.

Not horribly priced but since they are a daycare as well they charge you if your dog is there more than an hour after they are done. You have to call them they don’t call you to let you know your dog is done.
