We really liked the food choices here. The ginger cookie & chocolate croissant are awesome! They have great looking fresh fruit & veggies. There is a fairly large section of prepared meals in a cool case along with many other grocery items.

The store was clean, the produce items were high quality, so many local food items to choose from, fresh and organic. The prices are a bit higher, but, I understand that I'm buying from local business owners, purchasing fresh, natural, organic food items. I would HIGHLY recommended The Lexington Co-Op

As a member for years, I do enjoy the convenience and quality. However I find myself driving 3 extra minutes to price rite and save a ton of money. Prices are out of control.

I am a regular shopper at the Coop and I really like the service and food. Today I was very disappointed to find out that the pumpkin chocolate chip muffins are frozen and then thawed and sold. I don’t know if this is the same for every muffin. This is what I expect from Tops or Sams Club, not the Coop.

This cute grocery store is pretty amazing, the tuna fish salad sandwich is to die for. The fruits & vegetables are so fresh. The fresh juice is so good. I really enjoyed my visit here.

Lex is the best - been going to for years - the buffet is amazing - instead of fast foods they offer more of a nutritional option - overall thru out the store if you like healthier options - you might want to try this place

Outstanding selection of both local and organic produce. It's the only aisle I shop in at grocery stores - so this to me is a very big deal having some of the best fruits & veggies in the Buffalo area. Having a full juicing kitchen at home and recovering from a stroke from eating poorly over the years, good quality fruits are critical in my recovery.

Such a great co-op! You can shop there even if you're not a member, though if you live nearby it's definitely worth becoming a member. $80/one time fee and you can get discounts on certain items and other perks. Plus you're supporting a local business!The amount of vegan goodies here is insane! So many vegan fresh baked goods in their fresh bakery section, like cookies, cupcakes, apple crumble to die for, peanut butter cups, and more. Also a ton of vegan options in their prepared foods section. Tempeh sandwiches, wraps, marinated ginger tofu, kimchi poppers, buffalo tofu poppers with vegan Bleu cheese...I could go on.Then in the regular grocery section there are lots of vegan products and they often have great sales.The bulk section is also quite extensive. Unfortunately it's closed currently cuz of covid but you can still get bulk prices and goods that come in pre packaged containers.Everyone there is super nice, I love shopping here (and I hate grocery shopping).

My favourite place to shop for food in Buffalo. I love the Elmwood Village area so much which is where the co-op is. They sell so many local products, whether that’s produce, dairy, even tea and coffee. Many of them are labeled with the area that they are produced in. They sell prepared food as well. The staff is always so friendly too. Such a great neighbourhood spot.

So I stopped here and was going to buy some food however the guy comes out on the sidewalk telling me I cannot smoke here lol im in public on the sidewalk very rude by the way you do not own public sorry and now I'm telling all my friends and family not to shop here and will be back with a sign and cameras to tell everyone about it and social media as well you don't own public land

We LOVE this spot. Reminds me of a mini Wegmans or Whole Foods with a mix of Trader Joes combined. Fresh, healthy, nutritious choices. Super clean! Wonderful, friendly, and helpful employees. It's a great grocery spot in the city. Everyone raves about their fresh baked good items and prepared foods. Can't wait to go back to our grocery shopping with my friends and boyfriend.

This place is amazing! As someone who has worked at many different grocery stores, the staff here really cares about customer service, satisfaction, cleanliness, and quality! They have such a good selection of products, many that I seem to only be able to find there! The hot “salad” bar is always a hit with me and my boyfriend, such a nice place for a busy college student like myself! Highly recommend!!

Our favourite place for fresh produce for many years. Choice of veggies and dairy is very good. There kitchen produce is also very good.... Range of delectable vegetarian and vegan options from their kitchen.... Must trys are Hungarian mushroom soup, sweet chilli sesame tofu, kimchi fritters ....

I'm a member/owner of this Co-op. I've been going since the 80's when I used to go with my mother. I was just a young kid. It used to be a little store on Lexington off Elmwood Ave before it moved to Elmwood near the corner of Auburn. The employees are nice, helpful people. If you have SNAP Government Benefits you get half off FRESH fruits and veggies if you spend $20 and under. If you spend anything over $20 on FRESH fruits and veggies you get $10 off. I Love their soups and premade food from Lexi's Kitchen. Yum 😋 If you're Vegan it's an ideal place to buy food, if you like Regenerative Farming labels it's a good place also. They have local products including Olive Oil (didn't know anywhere near Buffalo produced Olive Oil). If I buy Dairy and Eggs (not too often) I prefer Grass Fed, Pasture Raised, Free Range. They've got it. ONLY place you'll find Organic Nuts of many types in Bulk.

I'd give it a five star, if the pieces weren't so high on some things. All people deserve good things, and good food, too without having to sacrifice the means, not just for those that can afford an expensive lifestyle. Everything was fresh according to what I've seen, nice store to shop in, just kind of ridiculous to pay $26.99 for a small container of vitamins lol

Love coming here for a quick bite to eat. I used to live near it and I miss it so much. I do stop by now and then but it was great living within walking distance of this place. They have grab and go meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you need a quick bite

I gave it 5 stars because I support local business, esp retail, my long time neighborhood, the Elmwood community, and their staff have at least a hint of customer service skills (even if 1 or 2 have to force it at least your acknowledged). A bit pricey but they have fresh veggies & fruits, great rotisserie chicken (at $10 each they make great soups) and I support their purpose.

This is a favorite spot in the Elmwood Village. Many residents shop there several times a week. Prices are higher than large stores but the food is of the highest quality - especially local produce!The co-op has great take out too!
