Staff was friendly today,store is dangerous.hubby and kids were checking out the squirt guns hubby shot it at the kids thinking it was just air and pure bleach was in it.this is what family dollar employees due to people who rob the store,they put bleach in water guns and get them in the eyes to stop them so their eyes burn and drop the stuff or run into the glass door,s.a worker forgot it out and left it with the toys from the night before.yeah it's all on video this is 💯 true 400 Virginia st family dollar.i have a police report.the young man found it again the next day as you see he is smelling the bleach saying it out loud this is disgusting and wrong and he was very upset and was tossing it out in the trash.that bleach got in their eyes and clothes.they had it full and ready for today.manager was in this time and she was heated I mean mad.than said sorry many times.both of them were so kind and very helpful in taking action.thank you for caring.i forgot their names.

I go here all the time because of the prices and they have a lot of things that I always need, and it's close to my house. This is the cleanest and neatest Family Dollar store I've ever been to, but it's still a difficult shopping experience. Forget trying to shop with a shopping cart because you can't make it down half of the aisles because they're clogged with so much stuff and they are so narrow. Also, many times they have only one cashier with an extremely long line at the checkout. But what do you want at these prices? To me it's worth going there just for the convenience and prices.

This location has horrible customer service. I often shop here during my break from work and I am usually in line waiting to cash out for over 20 minutes because the Cashiers are either on their phones or cashing out family members Instead of concentrating on the other customers. I came here yesterday on my 15 minute break and even though there were 4 Cashiers "working " only one young gentleman was actually hustling to get the line of customers which was 10 deep taken care of. Meanwhile the other 3 Cashiers were helping one customer at register one. They apparently knew this customer because they were talking, laughing and having a great time, at one point one of these female Cashiers whom was cashing out a customer stopped what she was doing and pulled out her wallet and took out her credit card and proceeded to go to register one and cashed out this young lady while ignoring the customer she was already helping! The male Cashier than stepped up and handled all 3 registers by himself in order to serve the customers waiting in line! I don't know this young man's name but he is the only employee I ever see working when I come into this store and I frequent this store often! He deserves a raise and alot of praise for picking up the slack!

Fairly awful customer service when checking out.Typically no help packing bags even if a line is waiting behind you.They talk on the phone while cashing you out often. Sometimes on Snapchat or on speaker so everyone can hear.When asding if they can not block the register while distracting the cashier to get change, they ignore you as though you disputed them.

Store is very clean, organized; everything is streamlined and flows nicely. All the staff there are polite and helpful, and have no problem directing someone to an item or an aisle they're looking for. I also like how they let me safely secure my bike in the front vestibule.

I truly would give a five star except for the fact that I heard that two employees got in trouble and written up for going the extra mile I guess they're supposed to close at 10:00 and although they did notify us me and my wife that they could get in trouble for allowing us to remain in the store at the checkout counter trying to find our cards or enough cash to pay for our order which was all totally mine and my wife's fault! Seriously we did not intend to get anyone in trouble but we thought it was very courteous and high customer service for them to prolong the time for them to stay at work in order that we could get these vital things we were purchasing, because it was vital it was a last minute thing we got to the store at 9:51 and did some super fast shopping of all of the various essential things that we needed plus it was just ahead of the Christmas day Spirit Rush and so we really really appreciated the high customer service and the patients and the extra mile that these two ladies showed us I highly regret getting them in trouble and I hope that somebody sees this post to understand that they really were just accommodating us the customer if they would have thrown us out it would have been very very sad for us and we would have had to go on very very far in order to get some of the items that we were able to purchase conveniently at family Dollar that's why I love that they're open till 10:00 as opposed to their competitors everything was easy to find and the women were very very nice patient accommodating and informative to their possibly getting in trouble I think they should get a raise! But if you want good customer service if you need help finding things if you want to know whether the store has what you're looking for or not these two ladies do their job well! I would have given them a five stars except for them getting in trouble I hope I can raise it up! Thank you ladies! You helped our family

I used to come to this Family Dollar pretty often since I would be in the area shopping at Price Rite. Always clean, never too busy. Staff are okay when they want to be but it has been awhile so maybe everyone is different now?! Just your usual FD so everything will be stocked and ready for you to buy... even the things that you DON'T need that will send your bill up just a little bit there. It's always a good time shopping at FD!!!

The store is now half family Dollar and half Dollar tree it is divided into two. The store is pretty packed with stuff it's clean while organized, the lady at the checkout didn't seem to like me, maybe she doesn't like anyone, but I'm still going back. She doesn't own the store.

Usually I find everything I need here and everything is great. But there's this new lady they hired that does nothing but talk to her friends and she makes the line longer than it need to be! Other than that the people here are willing to help you if you need to find something. Items are usually well stocked.

Vastly improved in just about every way than it was 2 years ago! Clean, orderly, and a well-stocked inventory. This is one of my "go-to" stores for a variety things, from personal care products to household items.

they have a variety of products, I was surprised to see that they carry the horizon organic milk that I love. Their prices are affordable and reasonable and the staff is nice. I'll be coming back again.

District manager apparently told them it was okay to clost at 915 pm when there supposed to be open til 10pm. Saw about 5 to 10 people get turned away. This is how you loose business. No ones gonna come here if your supposed to be open and can see customers inside being cashed out.

Love this place. I'm here at lest 5 times a week got everything I need. Workers are on point an are always willing to help people out if they can't fine it. The best part is if they don't have it they tell you some places that have it or should have it.....Very helpfulKeep up the good work

Employee's are rude and don't know the sales or the coupons for their store.Manager is obnoxiously rude and when you need them, they take almost twenty minutes to find them.Store is unclean and not stocked well. Totes are broken and lids are missing.

When they run sales, the stores need to order a bigger supply of products. Airfryer for 30 and if you have the mobile app it's 5 off and three stores were out. Niagara, Virginia, Utica streets. No rainchecks which sucks so the price will be 50 and I'm better off ordering from Amazon 👿😠

Lack of customer service to answer phone calls and their inventory is always low. Shop at Family Dollar in North Tonawanda, they promptly answer phone calls and their inventory is good with good customer service.

They recently renovated the insides, bringing it up to par from it's formerly ghetto interior. The pricing is fairly cheap and fair, and there is a large variety of brand name and off-brand food.
