This place has a great variety of pet toys, foods, and snacks and I thought the prices would be high due to being a small shop but they were decent. I am visiting from Rochester and had to stop in for our dog who likes to destroy her toys and found a few high quality options. I should have taken more pictures but now you’ll just have to visit in your own. Shop small!!!

this place takes small business big impact to a whole new level. not only are they staffed with exceptionally kind and helpful people, but they have competitively low prices, a great loyalty program, and also offer free area delivery depending on where you are! packed with a surprisingly extensive array of dog and cat needs (I'm a dog mom, so unfortunately can't vouch for much animal diversity) and dog friendly of course, this will be like taking your dog to the candy shop. if you can't stop buy don't hesitate to take a look at their website, I often use it when I can't get down there or want to pre-order for pickup!super great all around, two paws up from Odin!

This store is packed with so many goodies for our fur friends! I was picking up food for someone else and the man at the desk was able to look up their name and tell me what type was previously purchased, grabbed it for me from the back and offered to help carry out to my car. Their prices are reasonable too!

It's always such a wonderful experience to shop at Elmwood Pet Supplies. Sure, Chewy might sometimes be cheaper, but the feeling of community and the helpfulness of the staff make coming here worth it every single time.

Elmwood Pet Supplies is an excellent business. Tom who I believe to be the owner is super friendly is always happy to have conversations with his customers. My friend and I took his dogs there to use their washing station and the experience was extremely pleasent all together. When we were having issues with the machine, the staff was happy to help and take care of the problem 😁 Definitely would recommend going there!

Theyr super helpful and if you get your companion from the downtown shelter, you get a discount!They was kind enough to help me find what I need and there's a separate part of the store for cats and dog supplies and food. Definitely coming back for the litter box and food bowls for my kitten.

Disgusted with Elmwood Pet Supplies so many dead fish floating on top of and lying on the bottom of the tanks. Shel said she was there the other day and saw a tank filled with only a few inches of water and dozens of fish fighting to survive. When she mentioned it to a worker they said the were cleaning the tanks and forgot to refill that one. 😡 DO NOT support this business!!! Astronomical prices, but they can’t even properly care for their pets.

Been buying here for over 10 years and JUST noticed there's parking in the back. Although, I probably never noticed because their same day local delivery is unbeatable. Anyone within 5mins of Elmwood Village using chewy or going to big box stores instead of supporting these guys is a dummy. Dummy.

Listen, this shop is simply amazing. If you haven't been yet, it's basically like a toy store, but for dogs. There are a thousand things to look at but it's well organized and of excellent quality. The first time I brought my dog there she was a little...chunky...but thanks to a great nutritional food recommendation, she's shed the weight, and I still buy that brand to this day. These people know what they're talking about and know their product well. Oh, and the best part about this shop is the local delivery option. It's perfect for people like me who don't drive, and instead of ordering from Amazon or Chewy for food and accessories, you can support your local store. And whoever the delivery person is - you're awesome, haha. This store genuinely cares about animals and it shows in how they treat them and their customers. It's not a typical big box store at all, I highly recommend them

Lots of variety for food, toys, and treats! They also have harnesses and collars. We like to use the dog wash in the back for a small fee. The high velocity dryer is very helpful for drying his fur quickly.

We had such a fantastic experience at this shop! We just moved here from Missouri, and we had a difficult time finding good pet supplies store for our puppies. This shop had everything we needed, and a gentleman named Tom who worked there helped us find everything we needed and more! Their prices are very reasonable. We definitely will become their regular customers. Highly recommended!

This is the best local pet store I’ve ever been to across 3 states. They’re honest and care about what they’re stocking, so much so that I don’t find myself needing to read the ingredients of every bag looking for junk like I normally would at a big box store. All of the staff that I’ve talked to seems super knowledgeable about animals and the animal industry in general. My puppy loves to visit and they always remember him and offer him a little snack. Really can’t say enough nice things about this place.

Best pet store in WNY, maybe even in all of NY state! The owners, who are brothers and have run the store for decades, are extremely knowledgeable about everything they sell. Prices are competitive with what you find online, but shopping at this store, you can make more informed choices with your purchases bc they can answer all your questions, and you're supporting a locally-owned business! They even have a website store where you can order ahead for pickup, or local delivery. If you purchase the same products over and over, you'll appreciate their rewards program. And they've added a pet grooming/bathing station in the back where you can easily wash your dog for a nominal fee. Nice fish selection, terrific pet accessory products, and the best quality food at competitive prices - free parking in the back!!

The entire staff was so helpful yesterday! They have a big selection of Chilly Dog coats and offered me to bring my dog in to try them on. I fell in love with a Foggy Mountain Dog Coat. So well handmade and an even bigger stock from which to choose. The owner made my sweet dog happy with a healthy treat. He also offered a trial bag of some new food for her. They have the best priced bully sticks too. Everyone left happy! This local business is perfect for all your fur babies needs.

The owner (or at least whom I presumed to be the owner, taller gentleman with glasses) was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We’re getting a Daschund in a week, and he walked us through everything we need (and don’t need). Also gave us advice on what food and toys to buy. Staff took extra time showing us winter wear for our doggie and making sure it fit properly. Detailed explanations of the benefits and drawbacks of the choices. Excellent personalized service. When I adopted my first dog, Roscoe, from the shelter on Oak Street, Elmwood Pet Supplies offered a significant discount at their store on your first purchase as well as a free I.D. tag. This place rules.
