That’s it. I’m calling DG’s main customer service number and complaining. This store is the WORST store. They barely have ANYTHING (never have what I need) and it seems as though it’s ran by a bunch headless chickens. They’re rude! Their registers never ever work. Can’t even process gift cards and it seems they don’t care enough to get it fixed. It’s been like that for months now. I go there at times and they’re closed at 10 am. They open at 8. I miss the crew before this one. At least things were working and shelves were stocked. I would give this store ZERO stars if I could.

Went to the store to buy some last minute Christmas decorations and little odds and ends, cashier was beyond rude and had a terrible attitude. I picked up a pig toy I wanted to buy for my dog and squeezed it to make sure it worked and she grabbed it out of my hands and said give me that with an attitude, I responded right away saying ya I guess I won't buy that, very rude and I'm beyond unsatisfied with this service!

Not the first time I’ve gone in here and had to put my stuff down and leave, stop in really quick before work and go to wait in line where there’s another gentleman standing there saying he’s been there for five minutes, no one at the register and he’s saying excuse me! Excuse me! To no response, I just put my stuff down and walked out don’t have time for this nonsense

Went to Dollar General last night with my daughter. Walked into the store, couldn’t believe how clean and stocked this location was. I’ve been coming to this location for 10 yrs, been awhile since I’ve seen this location so clean, organized, stocked. Valerie was also very helpful and very good sales person. She’s amazing!

Still the same under staffed store. Came in found a plastic storage container for my oatmeal packets. Asked a woman who worked there where I would find them, response in the plastic container isle. No isle number given no pointed in the direction. I walked around aimlessly and couldn't find the mysterious plastic isle went to leave I hear did you find what you were looking for. Worst store ever, stay away. Not worth the hassel

I would give them a negative 1 if I could! This place is dirty, not stocked well, more things on the floor than on the shelves. The aisles are crowded with boxes and crates that need to be on the shelves. It’s terrible that we have to rummage through the boxes to find what we need! We’re not even allowed to but if I see it there imma get it after 2 days of coming back waiting for it to be on shelves! I genuinely can’t believe how bad it is. The employees are not well either, I went in another time with my 9yr old, she had her own money to spend from her birthday, she was buying slime, so she ran up to the register to purchase her slime, she then notices it was dry and already open, so she tells the cashier “I think I have to get a new one”, the cashier tells her she’s the one that opened it and had to buy it! Little did they know mama was near by and heard that, absolutely NOT! She did not open it and make it rock hard in the short time we spent there! It’s ridiculous all the way down to the employees.. I always come back because of how close it is and convenient it is for me to get to, but not anymore! I refuse after so many times trying to be loyal and let that place redeem themselves. There is no redeeming for them! I will go the extra mile and do what I can to go to another location! Which, Seneca street location, is a gem. I’m so happy I found such a nice , clean, and well stocked place to finally shop at. But something has got to be done immediately with McKinley parkway location. Shut it down for a week and start fresh. It’s the only way.

Very well stocked shelves with consideration at the beginning of the month due to the elderly living nearby and buying their staples. You may find some items short stocked at the early part of the month depending on when the truck is scheduled to come in, friendly cashiers, one of the cleaner stores. Ability for quick transactions gives this store two thumbs up.

3 stars because it's very close to my home , however if you drive I would recommend the one on seneca st. Its a newer and much nicer store also they have more to offer. This location is never fully stocked on anything except things that do not sell. They are in fact either extremely low or completely out of multiple items . I understand say certain things may be on sale at times like toothpaste but here it's not only sale items its the whole area. Very few products if any and its this way regularly.

I love the location the cashiers and manager are always very friendly. They need to have more registers open during peak hours. And the "Clearance" section is a complete disaster I have seen over flows to the floor at times. But also 99% of the item in the Clearance area have no price on the items, when I asked how can I tell the price the cashier said I would have to bring the items to the register.

Usually well stocked. Cramped at times in the clothing area making it hard to really view all the items, which is not good as many would be discouraged to even attempt, causing a loss in sales for the store. I'd say time for a redesign of the floor plans.But other than that staff is usually friendly and helpful and management is always willing to help with items finds or at least pointing in the right direction while multitasking, esp the nighttime manager, she's been helpful on many occasions when I couldn't locate an item. She even knew when it was out without hesitation. 👍 All in all, a good 4/5 thumps up for me.Morning time staff seems to need a red bull .. hiding behind a counter and playing with your phone leaves more for the night crew to handle. Time does go by quicker when your doing something, so grab a cart and compete with time, see how fast you can get an isle back in order or restock a fridge putting items label out. Used to help me get through the day

It's only highlight is it's cheap goods and services, beyond that the store and shelves are a mess, half the time things are out of stock, and just awfully messy and/or ruined products from customers. I'd go only when I need something cheap and quick tbh

Well it was actually cleaner than most DG's Ive been to, wish the cosmetics section was bigger as well as clothes an shoes! And as of recently their shelves remain empty continually and for no reason because they have four man carts in isles loaded with boxes of goods to be put away, their very low on staff an the people they continue to hire are a little slow.

This store is absolutely terrible. They never have what you're there for, it's constantly cluttered in front where discounted items are (ie, left over items from the various holidays), the rest of store is constantly cluttered with the carts they use to put empty boxes in, cluttered with delivery bins and when you do find what you need and cash out, you're lucky if they even tell you the total. I go out of my way as much as possible just to avoid this one.

Store is well stocked, employees always friendly..but this place & Family Dollars have the most disgusting dirty flooring..Being a customer, walking in the doors. Thats the 1st thing we see..get a flooring that can handle all 4 seaons..its called vinyl

This place is good. A little messy but not bad over all and the staff has always been helpful to me. I find what I need at cheaper prices than the local big name grocery chains without having to drive to Wal-Mart.

Store is dirty and sales associates arent very helpful or friendly at all. Disorganized store. We hate that this is one of 2 options in the area to do quick an inexpensive shopping on our area. But you make due with what's convenient I guess.

The employees here are so kind my phone app wouldn’t work so the cashier Chris asked me well show ur coupons on the app and I do it manually, he was very patient while I stood there and pulled them up It was $2 that I saved I like coupons because it’s the same as money and that was very nice of him to do, actually every time I come in the store the cashiers greet you and ask you how you’re doing and they always have good sales.

Sales are good but this store is always a mess. Cashiers seem to always be new employees and sometimes really don't know what their doing. I use DG on a regular basis but try to avoid this location.

Each time i shop I'm sure to go through coupons on their app, and each time ive saved quite a bit! Definitely worth taking the time to "clip" coupons to your account but you gotta remember to punch in your number at check out!

Every Dollar general is the same horrible attitudes and nothing is in the same place . You don't understand why they hire certain workers that just hate their job and they treat us the customers like we're bothering them because they want to be on their phones or do their nails or just pretend to do something so they don't have to deal with the customers at the present moment the attitudes and some of these workers at these family Dollars are less then qualified. One star is too much half a star.

Can definitely say the manager Angela has an excellent crew at the store on McKinley in south buffalo ny,always says hi,very helpful,she is on the path as a area supervisor,all the stores should be ran like hers

The worker went out of her way to hold the door open for me so I could get through with my bags, as they have a policy that customers can't the the shopping carts outside which is the only issue I have with that store.

The floor is real dirty. It is very cramped and the clothing area is a mess. The staff is friendly but it must be hard to keep the store up due to some of the loud messy people I see just tossing stuff anywhere.

Was I was in and out but I think the elderly woman at the cashier needs to be just a little bit more friendly like hello how are you how's everything going did you find everything she just basically says nothing and even when I said thank you she didn't even say your welcome or anyting this is the third time that this has happened to me at that store don't know what this woman's reason is but she's not a very good cashier

This store has everything u could ever need for the price of a dollar I go in there and I load up on candy snacks chips etc this place not only has food but makeup and other useful items the service is very friendly and it's a quick in and out

I go there for their house brand nacho cheese chips and fried cornmeal chips. I find that they are premium quality at a bargain price, and OU kosher certified besides, which is something I rely on.

Place is always to crowded with product in the aisles. Nowhere to push carts at and they never have anything. The few things they do have is either opened damaged or broken.
