I was there in September and the staff were nice and the dr. Was good but she didn’t even check me for my bifocals just my eye sight and when I received my glasses at least I gave my eyes to adjust to the bifocals but they still not adjusted for me to read 🤷♀️ and my insurance is not very good at all I don’t care for them. I’m going to see if I can come back to check on my bifocals.

First time I went the Dr. was so rude and impatient with me and my disabled child. To the point of blaming his behavior on him needing glasses. They never get my prescription right. Last time we picked up our glasses they didn’t even offer to see if they fit or adjust them even tho they were all right there and not busy. Heard the staff saying rude things about the family that was seen before us.

I recently went to the Seneca street location to get frames and lenses for my prescription. I was serviced by Trish. She was outstanding and extremely helpful!! The other staff were so kind and the location was fully stocked with different frame options and was very clean. I highly recommend this location! Thank you Trish !!

They are so patient and kind. I’ve had to take back my glasses because I wanted blue light but changed my mind. They have responded so well to my concerns. I appreciate it! I didn’t get the name of the guy in the glasses but he seems to be in charge and does a great job working with people.

I visited the location on Delaware in Kenmore last year (2021) and this year for my eye exams. Last year I purchased frames there and while trying various frames on, I asked the staff for their opinions and they were all providing kind, honest feedback with major exception to the the Ophthalmologist. She came out to provide her feedback, which was also welcomed until she started speaking, saying things like "'They're not horrible, but it is what you have to choose from within your price range and you are very limited so you probably won't find a great pair." REALLY? BTW, those happened to be the frames that I ultimately chose to purchase...go figure. I returned this year purely out of convenience, definitely not for the previous warm experience, but for only an eye exam because I decided to purchase my frames on line and needed an updated prescription to place my order with Warby Parker (WP). WP needed my script and a measurement of my Pupillary Distance (PD) to process my order. I explained to the OD, Ms. Kristin Amabile, that I was purchasing frames on line and needed the script and the PD to process my order and requested and confirmed that my PD be included with my written script, not once but twice. She asked if WP requested a picture of my face to process my order, and I said "No because I hadn't gotten to the purchase point yet, but I assume that is why WP told me to make sure that my script included the PD measurement from the Ophthalmologist." Again reconfirming that I needed the PD with my script. Her response was "Well, it should be interesting to see how that works out for you if they're not requesting a picture, good luck with that". I again reiterated that it is probably why they asked me to get the measurement with my eye exam. Wrongly, I assumed that when she printed out my script that she fulfilled my request - WRONG! She printed out my script and once again said sarcastically, "Good luck with that on line order." I thought her tone of sarcasm a bit odd but chalked it up to the fact that I was not purchasing frames from Buffalo's Best. I went home to complete my order and my PD was NOT measured and included with my script as requested - luckily WP does have an app that determines your PD and I was able to place my order. In summation, I would not even give Ms. Amabile ONE star but I could not write this review without it. Buffalo's Best.....not so much. I will not be returning to Buffalo's Best.

I had a great experience here me and my child got our eye exam and picked out our glasses the longest part was me picking my glasses we got our glasses the next week. Call after a week and see if your glasses came in they are pretty good about getting them back fast as possible. The staff is always very nice and helpful.

Haven't had an eye exam here but I always get my frames. They accept a lot of Medicaid managed care plans. I have a Blue Cross Blue Shield manged plan and they offer a wide variety of frame options for it. Happy that when I break my glasses, which is often, I can have them replaced twice a year, at least in my past experience. Also, everytime I've needed a repair they always try to salvage them first which is very nice. Everyone has been very professional everytime I've been there. Always able to walk in and ask questions if need be. Be sure to call and see what hours the opticians are staffed as hours seem to be varied.

I've been receiving my glasses here for several years. The doctor is though and always nice. Only problem is they haven't always called me when my glasses were ready and I was waiting for the phone call.

I've been with them for over 7 years!! Great place, always a great help fast and simple. Last exam I was in and out in under 20 mins. for eye exam , the longest part was me trying to pick out a pair of glasses lol! Quick turn around glasses took about a week thank you! Tip: They take Medicaid

So, in July of 2020 I paid $300+ for a pair of glasses(I actually got 2 pairs and paid a little over $700 for both but I’m only discussing the one pair). When I bought them, Aaron stated I’d have a 1 year warranty on BOTH pairs. In November of 2020, I fell down the stairs and the lenses in my glasses popped out(the frame didn’t have wire on the bottom, just the top). When I took them in to have the same lenses put back into place, I was informed by the receptionist that it would cost $189 to have the lenses put back in. Insanity. I ended up taking them to Walmart, where I’m not a patient, and they fixed them FOR FREE.

I got the eye exam, it's was performed like an amature. They did not have a very good selection of glasses. I ended up picking exactly the same pair I had already. They had to make my lenses fit and they had to order my contacts. It has now been four months and despite multiple phone calls still no glasses or contacts. The ones I have I got from them last year and are being held together with bread ties. I guess that goes to show the quality of there products because I very rarely wear them because I have the contacts too. Also the doctor is only there like once a week.

I'm only giving one star because the optometrist is usually very nice. But for some reason every single time I walk in the one receptionist is so rude. I ask to not go back but only look at the frames from be hind the counter. Not understanding me o get a no. Then I use my phone to zoom in, because I can't see well... hence why I need glasses lol. And she yells at me to not take pictures. I reassure I was just using the phone to see the frames better. Attitude is horrendous. Nice frames. Just wow.

One been taking my son here for years. Everyone is very nice and professional. This is not a huge place with tons of frame choices but in my opinion there's plenty. It's a neighborhood office with quick appointment dates. They accept many insurances(my autistic son has a Medicaid type insurance) Not alot of "Medicaid" fram selections. I always buy an extra pair because he's them and they ALWAYS have awesome sales/deals for less than $100. Always check their website for their coupons and groupon deals.

We had a great experience with Dr. Amabile. She helped my daughter find the right script for her eyes. The guy who helped my daughter pick out her frames were very helpful and we found a cute pair we all could agree on.

You'd be surprised how hard it is to find professional quality care for women with dark skin and natural hair in Healthcare today.I am happy to say that this location provided a personable experience...one that (for the most part)didn't stereotype as so many other places I have been to only once have.Unfortunately, there was the one eye doctor by the name of K. Amabile who did not hide well that she had no interest in my concerns.She failed to explain what was happening during & after the exam inside the examination room and had a lack of respect toward me in general as a person for no good reason. Needless to say, I do not trust her conclusions.Though I smiled and was courteous right until the end... I would not recommend this opticianist to any person with my features because being of good character is not enough for her...when it should be.

Waited nearly 3 weeks for contacts, was given samples and told the contacts would be ordered. Called earlier today and asked if they were ready yet was told by whoever I talked to that he didn’t realize I wanted them ordered. Common sense seriously, what is the point of going for an eye exam, having been told that the contacts would be ordered, and given samples if he “didn’t realize I wanted them ordered” seriously aggravated

Waited 3 weeks to get an appointment, ordered and prepaid for my new frames and was told they would be here within 1 or 2 weeks, after the second week i started calling every other day to check on the status of my frames and was told everytime that "they are almost in" or "very soon"...now 3 weeks after putting in the order i decide to call them again, the receptionist says that apparently the frames were never ordered in the first place...Just avoid this dumpster fire, you'll thank yourself.

glasses 2 OUT OF 3 times - took 4 weeks to receive - was given constant run around - no one knows where glasses are - get a call - they are here - get there - they are not- 1 person calls says glasses are in - call to check - nope - not there - eye checkup not enough time given between - "this or this" not enough time to focus to see which is actually better - all in all this place STINKS! I'D SUGGEST GOING ELSEWHERE

They will lie right to your face about their options and prices. I asked for a set of frames, specifically NOT the display ones, was told that wasn't an issue, and as I was leaving, sure enough, they were packing up the display pair to fill the order. Will not return.

they are really helpful in the process of picking out glasses....bu the first time i got glasses from here i got them within a week... this time im still waiting and it has been over two weeks.
