We recently purchased an electric Segway scooter from this location, and were convinced by the employees that getting a total tech membership would fully cover the scooter should anything occur. Sure enough the scooter starts to make a loud humming sound about two months after purchase, so we take it back to the store. At this point, we’re informed that total tech doesn’t cover scooters, that we were completely lied to, and that they should have sold us an individual protection plan instead. So now we have a broken scooter, we’re out $200 for a total tech plan that the employees told us would be sufficient, and no way to purchase a protection plan for it. These employees are scheming, clueless, deplorable jerks and the customer service number we tried to call was even worse. Do not come to this location if you’re expecting decent customer service or a straight answer. If you have money to waste, love being lied to, and generally enjoy a poor experience then this is the place for you. Totally disgusted and disappointed with the treatment received.

Geek Squad Appointment:I was very disappointed to find out when I arrived for my appointment that the customer service representative had no access to my appointment information.I was told that he was unable to see information about my appointment and that it would cost a minimum of $800 to retrieve data from my hard drive with no guarantees that my data would be recovered.I left a memorial to come this appointment. It could've been avoided with a simple phone call. They need to do better!

For your electronics& accessories needs I would recommend Best buy... Great selection of DVDS, CDS, games & their accessories to, cameras and & hand held video recorders, Etc.... all your electronics needs!! They even take old TV's for recycling, charge .... What Use to be 25$ a television, not sure $ now??Definitely if u need anything having to do w/ audio and video this is place to go👍

I called this store asking for a tracfone. The customer service representative was very friendly and found they had just one in stock. I was able to pick it up shortly after. Great experience. I was able to get exactly what I needed and all the relevant information. I wouldn't hesitate doing business here again. The workers know there technology and what you need and exactly where it is in the store.

Have to vent about poor customer service. Why have curbside pickup if no one comes out... and how long should someone wait. I waited 15 min, before I decided to call the store. Then u get automated messages and prompts unable to get to a person, finally when it does go to put you through to a person, you are on hold.... so I wait on hold for 5 more minutes. Then I decide to go into store. It was not busy and person working front pickup looked to be on his phone. He looked startled after saying I have been waiting for 20 min and went and got my item and then wished me a good day. Just frustrated.

I purchased a 65" LG OLED TV on 3/2/24 and scheduled a delivery and set up for 3/9/24. When the delivery and set up people arrived at the store to pick it up, it wasn't in stock because the store has sold it to someone else. It's now 3/11/24, and the McKinley store has 3 of these particular TVs in stock. No attempt has been made by them to reach out to me or to schedule a delivery and set up. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!

We stopped in for a 45in. TV ended up getting the Roku TV. It was well priced and plenty to pick from. We will definitely be back when the need arises to get our electronics.

Had a stock/warehouse guy save me from potentially destroying a tv on my drive home by letting me know that they need to be sitting a certain way to guarantee it will be safe. Now I'm sure I could have gotten away with how I was going to do it, but the other store I went to didn't even bring it up. At this store I'll say I'm lucky the salesperson at the TV desk recommended I buy the TV at the customer service desk because I knew what I wanted (something I'll be doing from here on out on basically anything when possible) then, after essentially saving me 1600$ going down the drain, came in clutch by ordering it to ship to my house. The other store flat out refused and said it couldn't be done. After a few minutes I had paid, they had pulled up my account, confirmed adress and number, and boom. All set. If these guys weren't 45 minutes from home this would be my go to store. Still very well may be worth the drive. I've driven further for good service. With best buy it can be hit and miss, Hamburg gets my vote for best store. I only hope that duder is around next time I need some cool tech or an upgrade.Ps. Best buy you should give him a TV literally for free, because had it not been for him, I'd have gone literally anywhere other than best buy to get one.Sorry I didn't get his name, but I do know his TV just broke. Also get him a chrome cast so he can stream from crunchyroll to a nice samsung or LG.

The store seemed empty, one entire side of the store was just basically used for overstock of large items in boxes where the backstock area and shelving was empty when we walked past. No employee spoke a word to us as we walked around but we felt like we were being watched hing like a hawk. Glad I don't shop there regularly.

The greeter asked us as soon as we walked in if we were looking for something in particular. Jessie picked us up and led us right to the product we needed. Then checked us out and printed a receipt so we could redeem the reward from our purchase. The store was clean and smelled like new products! 10/10

This Best Buy has the BEST customer service I’ve ever experienced. I purchased two refrigerators and even though corporate changes are makin the process difficult, the manager Stuart and the Supervisor Ryan have gone above and beyond to help us. I will definitely be purchasing more appliances and electronics from here in the future.

Ordered stuff online for same day pick up waited 2 days to hear back from them that my order was ready and then when arrive to pick up they had half of my order and the other half they have no clue where it is. Spoke to manager Ryan he was clueless and rude and also the gentleman at the door pretending to be doing security check was laughing that my order was no where to be found can not believe this place is in being ran w useless and disrespectful people

Recently purchased a computer.... when making purchase I inquired about the product going on sale for a more reduced price..... would l get the price difference I was told by employee I would.....well that has happened and now they are saying that I don't qualify for price match....they are stating that my purchase was a bundle price....the computer came with a one month gaming subscription... that I told the employee I didn't want but was told that is included...now I can't get money back... because I purchased bundle

Ian from the Geek Squad stopped by 3 days before our scheduled appointment after looking at my ticket and wanting to make sure he would be able to address all issues. He was very professional and informative, and determined that a different team member needs to be involved. He took pictures to provide to his team so they would know what they were going to be working with. Finally, he actually got the system back online so we can use it until they can come back to make the repair. AAA+

Only lost stars for lack of customer service. The lady who checked me out had a return before me. After the return was processed, I had one item in my hand and approached the counter. She didn’t greet me didn’t acknowledge me. Just took her Good ol sweet time re-packing the return in its original packaging. To include taping up where it was ripped open. I understand that it needs to get put back, but the lack of her acknowledging me and the lack of a line to me it just seems like it could have waited an extra few minutes in order to service the customer in front of her. On top of that when it was finally my turn after her spending five minutes taping up a package. She still didn’t greet me. She just scanned my item and didn’t even say anything still.

Best place I've shopped in awhile. They have exactly what I was looking for. As well as these 2 watches, I also bought a hoverboard with lights n Bluetooth for my granddaughter. I Galaxy flip 3 and carry case for my girlfriend and they were all at more than reasonable prices. The employees are top notch and very helpful. Awesome store which I will be patronizing for a long time 👍👍👍

I love Best Buy , This Specific location in the McKinley mall has the basics , but they usually send me to the galleria to pick up items because they don’t carry them in store so if it was a choice between the two I’d just send you to the Galleria.
