Very nice shop for kids and not for so young kids. We went on 2018 and took a Sesame Street muppet, which is adorable; as a souvenir for our honeymoon. Next trip to Nyc this shop will be definitely a non missing stop.

Best word to describe this store is FRIGHTENING. I was looking for a toy horse for a 2 yr w a newborn sister & the store insisted the toy horses that were labeled NOT FOR UNDER 3 -- WARNING CHOKING HAZARD would be safe, that a child couldn't choke on it because it was too BIG. This was not my 1st visit to the store & not my 1st problem, either. I explained to the woman (manager? owner?) that the reason it's labeled as a hazard is because it's dangerous. She continued to insist the tiny horses were safe even though labeled as hazardous. I also told her a purchaser might be foolish enough to believe her. I asked her if she had kids. She said she does. I suggested if she thinks they're safe to give them to her kids, not my grandchildren or others' kids. Buyer beware of this ethically challenged store. I had to give it 1 star to post a caution to parents.EDITED AFTER READING OWNER RESPONSE TO MY POST:Ha! I was not rude. I wasn't even angry. I was stunned! I went around the corner and bought what I needed elsewhere.You were claiming an item marked hazardous for kids under 3 was safe. Your response to my 1st review further demonstrates your challenged ethics. I won't respond to any other comments or edits to the owners' comments beyond this.Parents can decide for themselves whether they want to shop in a store that claims toys marked hazardous for a certain age group are safe. The product is the picture clearly says it's hazardous for under 3 and my purchase was for a 2 yr old w a newborn sister.As I said before, this was not my 1st issue with this store and those who I talked to since have had similar run-ins with the owners.I have also posted a yelp screenshot where a different customer reviews Two Kids and a Dog as rude.

Amazing selection of toys for so many ages, my 5 year old went wild there she was so happy. But the thing is the toys are abit overpriced when I compared with the online prices, but it's definitely a fun store to spoil your child in! The owner is a nice person and I liked that it's the owner's store.

This store has the best toy selection ever! It is well curated and incredible taste. The owner, is sooo helpful...and so funny, she advices and selects the perfect toy you are looking for. To me that is saving time. She is truly amazing! I recommend this store!

Natalia has an excellent selection of toys for children of all ages. She is incredibly knowledgable about all of the latest trends and what is developmentally appropriate. She is always super friendly and willing to help pick out the best gifts! Sometimes her adorable dog is even there!

I love supporting small businesses and I've made a few purchases at this store, but I will never go back again after my experience purchasing a defective product. The Owner would not let me return/exchange the product or provide a refund. She quickly blamed that the cause of the defect was my "child's fault." If she was willing to take the time to listen to my concerns and be less accusatory from the start--I would probably still continue to shop there.There are better places to shop for your kids.

This is the BEST toy store in Brooklyn! The service is amazing and the products are all top notch. The owner of the store is always helpful and so nice to me and my children. The inventory is constantly changing and being upgraded. This is our go to store for clothes, shoes and of course toys!!I highly recommend this awesome store!

The store has a good selection of toys/clothes. I was looking for some shoes for my toddler and I was told they didn't carry his size. Then we hang around for a while. The store, as most toy stores, seams to be made for children to play with some of the toys. I allowed my son to play, that way I can tell what he likes and know what to buy today or later. But the women in charge felt hostile. She didn't allow me to sit down next to my son, how could I take care of him then? Then she asked us if we needed something, again with a tone meaning if you are not buying leave. I am not coming back, there's plenty of toys stores around.

Great place for your kid to play while shopping for really good stuff!!! I´ve been in several kids stores around the world and I can say this is my favourite! The variety of toys and clothes combine with the great customer service makes this place unique. If you are visiting NY take a look at this magical store in DUMBO, it really worth the trip!

A great selection of toys (especially rarely represented Playmobil toys), but overpriced. Definitely a great place to pick something special if you can’t wait for it to arrive in the mail or when you consciously overpay to support local business.

Overpriced and horrendous service. Our two year old was looking at toys trying to figure out what he liked when the unfriendly staff chased us out, repeatedly asking if we were going to buy anything and rolling their eyes. Why work at a toy store if you hate customers and hate kids?

Decent selection, but silly prices, which would be okay if the customer service stretched beyond a complete lack of acknowledgment of the customer walking into the shop. The whole transaction was done without words. The cute name is the only thing that’s cute about this shop. It’s basically an overpriced fulfillment centre.
