I am upset and disappointed. My appointment was at 1:30 but I had to wait for another 15 minutes for someone to come out. She told me I can pick up my dog at 4, but I waited another 45 minutes. The price was also higher than I expected. I would never go back again

Horrible customer service. They never answer the phone. When I finally got an appointment (through the app) they cancelled my appointment the day of without telling me. I found out at the location and got to work late for no reason.Brought my dog in for the rescheduled appointment and was told two to three hours for the requested service. When I came in to get my dog he was still drying because “he didn’t like the blow dryer” I’ve used the blow dryer on my dog countless times and had little to no issues. Then the groomer tells me she wants to leave at a specific time and can’t do the grooming. Horrible!Wish I could give negative stars. She was obvious trying to do the bare minimum and avoid grooming my dog. This groomer literally complained about grooming him before I even brought him in.

Tiffany C was absolutely amazing with our extremely nervous dog. She was patient and thorough about all. Milo received excellent care and services and we couldn't thank her enough for giving us a wonderful first time grooming experience for our little one.

The most incompetent and inhumane group I only wasted two minutes for my puppy's appointment, I called them about him looking for parking and wasted 2-3 minutes they didn't answer and when I got there they refused me, I tried to reschedule or change the appointment time they lied to me that they didn't have time to check Online and when I exposed it in a lie, someone else canceled the appointment, I talked to the doctor, the manager, I didn't see any human approach with them for 5 minutes, I will never come back here for my puppy, moreover, I fear for the health of animals in the hands of such people.

although i waited 2 months for the appointment it was great. i removed 1 start for wait time and because i saw my doggy baby sitting in the waiting room shivering's and scared for about 30 minutes before she was dried off. i watched in the window where she was leashed and forced to wait for a groomer to come back to pick her up. not sure if this is protocol but non the less i was not a fan. her nails were painted but not dry when i picked her up causing her polish to come off on her sweater and on my clothes as well. not a huge deal but it would have been nice to mention this ahead of time.

I moved to Texas on May 24, 2020, before that I lived in the Sunset area for 20 years and visited Petco often with my small dog, never had to wait more than two hours for the grooming, and the employees were great.I come back to NY and on 7-1-21, I took my small poodle, Maya to the same Petco located in Sunset Park. I arrived at 1:16pm for an appointment with the vet, was done by 2pm, that was ok, than had an appointment for grooming the same day at 3:30pm, First I Spoked to Pysom and Sofie and asked if there was a cancellation, maybe my Dog could been seen earlier, Sofia said she could take the dog but wouldn’t be able to attend to her until 3:30pm. So I decided to take my dog and waited patiently till 3:30pm. At 3:30pm I drop off my Maya with Sofia, and because I told her to be careful, that my Maya has arthritis and is old (12yrs.) they tell me that it might take 3 hours for her grooming, because they have to take their time, I can understand, but 3 hours, really? thinking that they would start right away and would be finished before the 3 hours I left Maya. Two hours, (5:30pm) later I come back, Hear my Dog barking, something she rarely does. I spoke to some other worker, and was told that Sofie was on a lunch break, that got me upset, I understand that employees are entitled to a lunch break, but finish what you start, don’t do partial work. I was already almost 6pm and I just told them to give me Maya as is and left. All Sofie had done on my dog was shave some hair off her body, didn’t even do a proper job, face, ears and paws still needed to be trimmed. Just because a dog is old and sick does not mean that they need that much time for grooming, my Maya is a very quiet dog who stays still when she is being groomed, it’s not her first time. What a horrible experience, won’t ever return there. Wasted time and money!!

It comes down to the products I was given to wash my dog. I was given a bottle of shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo smelled terrible and was watered down. It was almost clear. The conditioner had white chunks in it. It seemed like it was old or was kept in a refrigerator. This was also very much watered down. My dog smelled worse after the wash than before. For the 15 dollars I paid, I should have been given quality shampoo and conditioner that wasn't watered down and with an awful smell. Save your money, but a good shampoo and wash your pet at home.

To whom this may concern. I had a 8Am appointment on Saturday 6/29/2020 the petco store in sunsetpark opened 20 minutes late . Grommer tells me it will take 2 to 3hrs depending on the dogs behavior ..ok no problem. I call after 3hrs and a young lady tells me they are still not done it will take another 40 minutes more ok again no problem . with no call from petco after 40 minutes I go to pick up my pet. And the groomer is still cutting her hair. From 8am. Waiting 20 minutes to open then another 4hrs is very disappointing.

The groomer was very patient with my dog and managed to trim all of her nails. Based on past experience with previous groomers, most give up and just get the dewclaw.

The perfect place for your pet needs. Little pricey, will be great if they can sell a whole box of can food instead of per piece. Very friendly staff!!!
