This store made life a lot easier. From the first day it opened, it has become much easier to buy anything for your pets. the range is huge. haircut pharmacy everything you might need. the staff is quite friendly and qualified. The location and sufficient parking make it convenient to visit. very good decision

The people at Petco are extremely nice people but the products they carry are horrible. I purchased a 12 count diaper for my dog for $23. They literally don’t stick are not leak proof and have left a bigger mess than human baby diapers. Would this price gouging to the fullest! I purchased 50 pieces on Amazon for 1899 so much better than this. I have no idea why Petco chooses to produce such horrible quality products like this because they’re only going to keep customers away. Never again will I buy anything made by SO Phresh made by petco!

Yesterday i had and appointment 09/09/23. at 12pm my puppy 5months. name is . Candy. We bring him beautiful and come out very ugly. We are very upset and we pay for that more then 100 dollars . Do not bring your pets to the groomer named Monica What she did to my dog is terrible and totally unacceptable. .We ask for compensation for moral damage to our family and our poor puppy. 😢 we have all the evidence on hand.My puppy is very upset and we are too.Do you like how is looks now. ????My cute puppy and no more happy 😢Don't eat and no drink anything.She left my puppy naked.

Front Desk: KrisNurse/Assistant: EricDoctor: RothFirst of all, Kris greets us with a big smile and he lets us wait inside the room within the appointment timeframe after confirming with my pet’s info. Eric comes in the room with heart warming petting to my dog and tells us all the detail about pricing and discuss with us about what the doctor will do to our pet so we get everything clearly understood . Dr Roth later come in with Eric to explain every aspect in detail again to make sure that we as a pet parent can have a better understanding of our pet. Then they perform the examination for my pets in a very professional manner, and they also need to express the pet anal glands which I have little worry about but once again they have show me what professionalism is all about. This petco location should get the management recognition

This Petco is great but they should have more people on the register as the line tends to back up a lot. The workers are kind and efficient at providing information on animals. They also do vaccines here.

I visit this Petco mainly for the grooming department. Tameeca does an excellent job. She gets creative with styling the ponytail on top of my dog’s head and you can see the love she has for all the dogs who come in.

The vet assistants were awesome. Took time to help me and to make sure my pup was not scared. The vet did his thing so quickly with a calm demeanor and no stress. Love petco.

Stopped in today to get Crickets for our baby dragon lizard. This store is kept so nice and clean. There was a young lady working on the fish tanks, she wasn't friendly at all, but the other staff that I encountered were nice and professional.

I really like who my baby doctor will be she was awesome. I’m from down south so moving her has been a change. But he attitude is perfect and she cares a lot and helps you learn. Her assistant is amazing also. Beautiful and I are pleased.

I received the address of this store on the Amazon website. I wanted to return the product. Came on Saturday. Queue from the front door. The cashiers are slow. They talk to each other. They smile. They're not in a hurry. Came today. One cashier. He told me that they do not accept returns on Amazon packages. Strange store. Strangely ineffective management. Poor fish and mice and parrots. These managers probably don’t feed them😥😥😥

Granted I was 20 minutes late, but the groomer sent me away like a discarded piece of trash. She wouldn't even ask what services she COULD provide me and Midas that would be 20 minutes less to accommodate us as customers and her own timetable. But, she did know how to organize how to eat her lunch when her co worker showed up while I was standing there and tell me that she must leave at 5pm. Then, I went to the cashier to speak to the manager who wouldn't appear until I called the customer service number to ask them to get him. Let me preface this by saying that I tried to get the cashier to call him to the front, but she was so busy talking to her friend by the front that I had to ask her twice to get him. Once she finally picked up the phone to ask him to come to the front, I then had to eventually call Customer Service number to finally get him to appear.

Update 4/29TLDR - DO NOT VISIT THIS VET. SHE DOES NOT DOSE MEDICATION CORRECTLY OR TAKE AN ADEQUATE HISTORY.An update on the vet's competency- she has none. I was able to wrangle the antihistamine prescription from her after repeated calls and speaking with her manager. She prescribed 10mg/mL QD of oral suspension cetirizine (Zyrtec) for my cat to help with the allergies. After the second dose (given as directed) my cat was near comatose with lethargy, not eating, not drinking. I ran to an actual vet where I found out that the dose was double what it should have been.NOT ONLY DOES THIS VET FAIL TO TAKE A FULL HISTORY BECAUSE SHE PREFERS THE SOUND OF HER OWN VOICE, BUT SHE CAN NOT CORRECTLY DOSE MEDICATIONS FOR ANIMALS EITHER. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET- RUN AWAY.She will also be extremely rude to you during her entire mismanaged process.4/15This is a review for the vet at vetco total care not the store.This is not a review regarding this vets competency, but her bedside manner. This vet may be perfectly competent, but she is also extremely rude.At my first appointment, I arrived 15 minutes early and was not seen until after the appointment time had ended. I had popped my head out to ask about an estimated updated time and was just told that the vet would be in twice. When the vet finally came in, I commented on the lateness and she responded by saying, “The appointment starts right now because I’m here.” I understand that she must’ve been in a rush since she was so far behind, but she interrupted me continuously throughout the appointment. As a result she took down some incorrect information regarding my cat’s history because she could not seem to listen to me.She was thorough in the testing and did reach out to some specialists regarding my concern. This is why I give her two stars instead of one.However, her disrespectful and condescending behavior continued when it became time to fill out a prescription for my cat. This vet did not agree with my desired care plan. My cat has allergies and I requested a steroid for her because this treatment was the only one that has worked in the past. The vet recommended an antihistamine. When discussing this with her, she continued to interrupt me and speak over me instead of conversing with me. This resulted in her completely missing the fact that I requested that she put in a prescription for both the antihistamine and the steroid so I could try the prescribed antihistamine first and then have the script for the steroid if the antihistamine didn’t work. I also told her which pharmacy I needed these meds sent to and she ignored that as well.Later, I received a phone call from a pet pharmacy of her choice (not mine) telling me that they only had one prescription the steroid. When I called back to have this matter rectified, she was, once again, incredibly rude and spoke over me to tell me that “[I] could not speak to her that way” when I had simply asked her to stop interrupting me.Overall, while this vet may have the education to be competent, her bedside manner prevents her from listening to a pet parent’s concerns and working with them in order to help their pet. I would not trust her simply because I do not trust her to listen to my concerns thoroughly and I would be perpetually afraid that she missed an important detail simply because she finds her voice is more important than anyone else’s.The vet tech and front office staff were lovely.

Although I loved growing up a petland kid, petco has come a.long way. Their telephone service needs some upgrades and their employees should care more. Even for the minnows. But this time we brought home this beautiful little girl Lavender.

There are moments that require decisions at the highest level of management. But that's another story. I was impressed with the prices on my last visit! I went to Petco to return an item to Amazon. I decided to take a look, as usual) Usually then I went to another store (I won’t advertise), where the prices were lower and there was the assortment I needed. But this time I was amazed by the large selection of the cat food that I usually buy for my furry friends and the low prices! As a result, I bought 50 cans))) Now I will come to Petco for shopping. I hope this lasts)

First time I’ve stopped by this pecto and I had a lot expectations. But it was totally the opposite . First thing it was just one cashier in the entire big store then and I went to the live fish section and I saw a guy ( i assuming he’s is in charge of fish) just walk around me without any gesture of welcome. When I decided what type of fish I was going to buy it was nobody around . I asked the only cashier ( tall white curly short hair dude ) if someone can assistant me and he was so rude saying without looking at me that he will call somebody. Nobody came… wasted of time. Not recommended this pecto . The worst !

The store is so clean and pretty!!! The atmosphere is super easy. They had a nice variety of fish, some small rodents, birds and turtles. I got a lovely glow in the dark fish. Would definitely buy more fish from here.

I decided that it will be great to have some fishes in my apartment. As a first time costumer I decided to apply for a Petco credit card and do some shopping for fish tank, filters, heater, accessories and other items. I went in to this Pacific location (1610 Ave Y sheepshead Brooklyn) to pick up the fish tank that I purchased online. And to also gain more information from the employees at petco as to whatever else I may need in regards to purchasing these fishes. When I arrived at the store, I immediately encountered a rude, dismissive, unprofessional employee that seems to hate his job a lot. I try to ask questions about the fishes where I was being ignored. I literally find myself following this employee around the store to ask more questions where I felt like I was literally being ignored and there was no other employee available to help me. When I finally try to have a conversation with this rude employee, his response was very rude and dismissive. He refused to sell me the comic gold fishes which was 49 cents for 1. I ask for the betta fish, he said “ if the fish dies you don’t get a refund.” Then he literally disappeared and never returned back on the floor to help sell the fish to me. I finally ran into another employee and I told him, I was not being help, and the other employee refused to help me as well because he said “ his boss told him not too.” I’m guessing his boss was the rude employee prior. I eventually left the store with no fishes. Will be canceling my petco membership and credit card. I will be returning the items as well. My encounter with that employee made me feel like I shouldn’t be doing business with petco. There was no reason to be rude and unprofessional. I don’t know if he was having a bad day but it still doesn’t give him the reason to be so rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. As a costumer, I went in there to make a purchase and couldn’t do so due to the employees that work there who refused to do their job. They didn’t provide any information or anything that would’ve help educate me on fishes. Good luck maintaining business while having employees like them work there. Will be reaching out to corporate.

The service in this store is awful. I asked two consultants to help me, but they just keep saying 'wait,' while they're just talking to each other and completely ignoring you for a long time. It's such disrespect. Guys, please be more respectful to the customers. If you can't, choose a profession where you don't have to interact with people.

Everything was right where i needed it. One of the workers there , her name is Ana . She works in the petco on ave y and e17 st. She was so nice to me and very helpful to. What an amazing young lady . I like they are open late and there is never a line to wait

My experience at check out was unpleasant. The employee who completed my transaction, Lauriano, did not want to answer my questions and he was offputting. He exhibited poor customer service and he was not welcoming. When I asked him the total of my items he told me to look at my bill after I paid. And when I asked him to price match my items he appeared annoyed and bothered.

Only went in once to send out a package but then I walked around to explore. The store is really big and has lots of fish and rodents for sale including some really cute mini hamsters. The staff was very nice and helped me send my package quickly.

The store is my go to for all my pets need, I enjoy the discounts, deals that I get with my Petco membership. I hope this store doesn't go away like everything else. This area is full of animals and we need Petco in our neighborhood. I would like to see more Pet adoptions at this location for both dogs and cats and also foster pet information. I know people that would be interested in fostering pets until they are adopted. This is a big need and I think Petco would benefit from advertising this. thanks.

When i was scheduling the appointment at this clinic, i was told in a rude manner that if i cancel, they would not reschedule the appointment and would never give me service at this place again. If a client cancels the appointment, the clinic considers this matter being abnormal, but the cleanic can cancel the appointment right before the appointment itself. I still scheduled an appointment with this veterinarian even though she spoke to me in a very disrespectful manner. The appointment was in the morning on Tuesday. On Monday, it was confirmed over the phone and via text message. I was on my way to the appointment, and I received a phone call 20 min prior to the appointment that it was canceled. I lost a day of work for the incoppetancy of this place. One of the times that brought my dog for nail triming, the clinic didn't trim all the nails even though I paid for it. Please be aware that this clinic is not reliable.

Amazon new what I was returning and Petco was an option but at the store I was told that it is too big.Worst experience EVER.

Wow what a petco. I’ve been to pet stores before but this one right here is the one. Petco. The way they make you feel, the smell, everyone greets you. They smile at you. They make you feel right at home. They have an amazing selection of treats. Everyone shakes your paw. The floor is littered with food scraps. I even made a poo in aisle 3 and they told me not to worry about it. They even gave me a bowl of water after. This place is aces. Next time my owner and me go for a walk. This is where I’m going to lead him. Will be back again. Woof woof.

DO NOT, and I repeat, do not take your pets to the groomer named Ashley! What she did to my dog is terrible and totally unacceptable! I have been Petco's customer for months and have had an amazing and professional groomer, Ksenia. About 3 weeks ago, on the day before my appointment, they texted me and said that it was canceled. They did not offer a replacement date, so I had to reschedule myself. Since Ksenia did not work there anymore, I had to book with Ashley. They called me three hours after I dropped off my dog and asked me to pick her up because Ashley was unable to finish the job and they were concerned about my dog's safety. When I came, I saw my dog unbathed, half shaved, with deep cuts on her back and shaking! Needless to say, I did not pay for this! When Ashley brought my dog out, there was no hello, no apology, nothing! She silently gave me the dog as if nothing had happened. Now I have a butchered dog with half its body shaved and cuts all over. Do yourself a favor and avoid Petco groomers.
