I went to vaccinate my dog Gucci, the veterinary team and other very friendly employees treated me very quickly and gave my dog a snack. Gucci is worth taking your pet to this place

The place was clean and the staff was very helpful until I got to check out. I bought one item but it came out to a little more than I thought it should be. After I checked the receipt turns out the employee put a donation on my payment without asking me.

I was looking for a turtle. I called the store the staff was very helpful. When I arrived they were very pleasant and helpful. The young man who helped me explained in detail the care I would need to give. What the best food was and instructed me on ways to handle the turtle. He even told us the gender and age. The staff was great the store manager was helpful with giving us we could save on buying supplies. Great experience overall

I went to petco to have my XL Bully groomed an I truly appreciate Jamillah she was great with Brooklyn an she left looking like brand new an was very affordable I truly recommend 👌 😍

Dead fish.... poor treated lizards and a Dog grooming area what isn't fit for prison, always some new dead fish. Don't even bother just buy supplies from Amazon. Workers just don't care and ignored me when I pointed out the dead fish. ( UPDATE) THIS PLACE NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN!!! Dead frogs, dead Bettas, dirty tanks. Edit. Place keeps getting worse. The condition of this place was really bad, Especially the rat and hamster cages. It’s really disappointing to see the conditions of these animals one of them even looked sick. This is not a proper habitat for these animals. Rats and hamsters are animals too. If I could I would give a zero stars for the condition for these animals.

Worst ever they never pick up phone they have my dog saying it have missing one shot and she have it there system haven’t take that out for months. I found somebody else to groom my dog. Lost a good custom every 2 weeks she was there.

It's not the Dr or the people who work there. I didn't have a lot of interaction with the vet, but it was ok. The lady who checks u in is awesome, as well as the gentleman who u pay. It's ur losusy Internet that I HATE. it was too hard for me to make an appointment. Thank goodness that great lady scheduled me another appointment (for 4 weeks) when I was still there. I don't have a computer (don't want one) & too much confusion online. I think ur service is great, as it's either low cost or free (being retired it helps), but I get too aggravated with ur online stuff

Went in to make an appt for grooming for my baby. The lady that helped me at the entrance was wonderful, she took me to the groomer 🙄 what a rude person, never acknowledge me, never looked at me, not one smile... i figure if this is how she is with me i can just imagine how she is going to treat my baby. 🤔🤔🤔 no thank you!!!

They are sufficiently stocked, though I feel like they are always in the process of restocking, which makes the store feel cramped and some items are inaccessible. The staff is nice and usually pretty helpful.

I had a 10 am grooming appointment the groomer named Mya shows up at 1012 with a attitude I think I shoulda had a attitude for my time wasted then she ask for paper work that shoulda been in the system already has on headphones and couldn’t hear me then walks out the room and denies my dog service and quits what a joke this place is

I sent my granddaughter on Feb 3 2023 to get me some gold fish for My tank they asked me what size tank l said 20 gallon they said they can't sell me me the fish cause my tank is two small I'm like what been comming there for yrs covid hit and l shut the tank down just decided to put it back the Manger came and he said the same thing I've been being my gold fish from them for yrs I'm disappointed never will go back to this petco they never ever asked me what size my tank wasYou lost a good customer l have my 3 dogs groomed there not no more

Employees will openly lie to you if they are in the wrong. Was told my order was cancelled by me or someone on my behalf from a store associate but when I called customer service they said the store cancelled my order….Instead of trying to fix THEIR mistake they tried to get me to re-purchase my item for full price even though it was bought almost 50% off on sale. Don’t let them swindle you. Skip this location.

Very disappointed with this grooming appointment service .I had a 9:00 am VIP appointment for my puppy.Drove 25mins from Queens about to arrive in couple mins 8:50am got a call that they canceled my appointment .This is not the first time and I was very disappointed in this short notice that they always do.We the consumer is allowed to call 48 hours if we decide to cancel but the business owner of this place is allowed to call 5mins to cancel on us .As much ad the Groomer is unable to come to work they should put something more in place for working people who take there tome ofg wprk to take care of there pets.I been a value customer but this time i will not be returning to this location. Doesn't value people time andThat not a place i will br returning to ever again haf enough

I’ve been coming here since they opened for convenience and they just don’t get better. This is the third time my boyfriend and I have taken one of our dogs to get groomed here and once again my dog comes back scared for his life and they charged $60 to do absolutely nothing… he was even still wet and apparently the dog didn’t let them cut his nails ( but you still charge). If it’s not horrible service, it’s them cancelling the appt or being over an hour late after we are there. On top of that apparently the dog has a record?! We have taken him to petco on Utica before and there has never been a complaint and he even jumps on the groomer. Certainly no record there. Do yourself a favor and save your money as well as keep your dog safe. There are other petcos in better condition with better employees around Brooklyn. Definitely not coming back here and honestly neither should others.

Went to this petco last week to find some fish for my new tank. First of all no one knew anything and kept passing me off to other employees that they claimed worked in that department. The aquatic section was not cared for and the tanks had more dead fish than live ones. There was even a man in there with his son who was supposed to get a fish and the child was traumatized at the sight of so many dead fish. When an associate MIKE finally came over I asked why there were so many dead fish he responded that it just happens and started scooping out the dead ones in front of me with no regard as to how I might feel. I ended up leaving without purchasing because I felt that there tanks were too contaminated for me to trust bringing home a fish from them. I am attaching images because it was truly a disgrace.

I took my Stella here for her first grooming appointment and was very happy with the service provided by Karla! She is a real dog lover of all breeds big and small - her care for animals is apparent. You can see how sweet and gentle she is with them…Stella was strutting after her appointment LOL! We will be back for a monthly visit to keep her squeaky clean.

I buy bird food/ items and turtle items. The store is aways out of food 😐 filters etc. It's not good I have to go to other stores. I'm about to order on line from chewy. Yes the prices are higher , it looks like they keep items in stocks.

They’re employees are extremely slow like they have no motivation to live. Boxes everywhere everything unorganized. Almost all fish were dead my child was traumatized. This should be illegal.

So I made an order the night of September 30th 2023 for pick up the next day, today Oct. 1st 2023. In the morning of Oct. 1st at 9:59am I received an email notifying that my order was ready for pick up. In the afternoon I go to the store to pick up my item and when I'm there the guy in charge goes to the pick up stand and searched for my name. He doesn't find it and then proceeds to tell me they actually didn't have the item in stock. Which I believe he just assumed because he didn't even check to make sure. He didn't give any explanation as to why I received an email saying the order was ready and why they charged my card. The guy said I should just contact customer service and request a refund. The disrespect for people's time and the "I don't care attitude" is beyond me. Plus the audacity of asking me to just contact customer service for a refund when this was their mistake so the least they could have done was to try and give me the refund right there so I could go buy my dog's food somewhere else. How dare they ask me to just wait for a couple of days for my refund now, how inconsiderate especially when there are so many people struggling to make ends meet but they feel entitled to just play with people's money like that. Anyways I tried to be polite and even said thank you when I left. I then called the store customer service to make a report about this abuse and lack of ethics, imagine that was the only money I had to buy food for my dog. The person I spoke with says that it was a mistake of the computer and when I questioned that, she then says "well the buttons in our cells are to close to each other so they could've been pressed by mistake" 😳 So first she says computer snd then she says cellphone. I just can't believe how they think I was going to believe what was an obvious lie, that's an offense to other people's intelligence and even theirs because that says a lot about her IQ really, like how could she think any person would believe that. I feel she was just bullying me and they clearly just cover each other in that store no matter what type of abuse they do to people. They clearly don't care about our pets and neither does Petco. Such a shame. No doubt why the world is so messed up, it's full of hypocrites and people that lack empathy

The store is good and the employees are very friendly, they help you with everything you need. the cashier made me recommendations and offers and gave me coupons. I always go there to buy everything for my turtle. I highly recommend this store.

I had an extremely disappointing experience when I took my dog, Dior, to Petco for grooming. The groomer I had an appointment with, Mia, was shockingly rude and unprofessional from the moment I arrived. There wasn't even a hint of a smile or a warm greeting. She seemed visibly irritated, stating that she had been working since 8 AM, even though my appointment was at 2:00 PM.The situation took a turn for the worse when Mia asked to see Dior's vaccination records. She noticed that one of them had expired just the day before. When I inquired about the possibility of rescheduling the grooming appointment after I could update the vaccine, Mia simply replied with a dismissive "no." She offered no alternatives, suggestions, or even a willingness to accommodate my situation. Her attitude left me shocked and concerned about leaving my beloved pet in her care.Frustrated and deeply dissatisfied, I had no choice but to request to speak with a manager. Thankfully, the manager I spoke with was more understanding and willing to listen to my concerns. They took my feedback seriously and attempted to find alternative solutions, but unfortunately, there were no available options at that time.I walked out of Petco feeling not only let down by the lack of professionalism displayed by Mia but also disappointed by the apparent disinterest in ensuring the well-being of my pet. It's disheartening when you entrust your furry family member to a grooming service and encounter such a negative experience. I hope Petco takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues to improve the overall customer experience.

Staff is very helpful and kind. If you need anything around the store, they will point you in the right direction. I've been shopping there for years and never met a rude employee. I would highly recommend buying your pet products from this location.
