I walked past this store and just happened to go in because I had my dog Rusty with me. The owner was super nice and you can tell this store has a lot of returning customers as they knew people and fur babies by name. I don't live too close by but close enough that I will be using this establishment as my local store.

The new owner is deceptive in his pricing. I have been taking my dog to be groomed here for over three years now and never had an issue with pricing until now. My dog is old with back leg issues so it is difficult for him to stand for long periods of time. They know my dog but now they want to charge an additional $35 to groom him. I was surprised with the price increase after he was groomed while I was paying. Steve did not call to inform they were having issues grooming him nor did he warn me in advance. They complained because he was laying down. I will not go back.

We got our Shiba Inu and Corgi groomed at Paws on Pineapple and they did a fantastic job. The staff was so pleasant, we will definitely be returning on a regular basis!

Rocco and Jezebel is our dog’s favorite place in the world! The staff is super friendly and nice. Our dog loves their daycare, we bring her three days a week and it is so so good for her, and it’s become a home away from home. They also have a great selection of food, treats, toys and accessories.

We tried Paws on Pineapple for dog grooming because it was closer and more affordable than some other places in the area that we’ve tried. They listened to what we wanted and our dog looks great! Would recommend for grooming.

We brought our two mini schnauzers here until she cut one of them- on two separate occasions. The first time she fired the groomer as it was her fault for not paying attention. The second time, the issue required stitches and multiple vet visits... we never went back.This place has a relationship with some type of rehabilitation service that allows them to hire people w former addiction and extremely shaky hands and low verbal skills.We understand issues happen, with pets and employees. However, we were aghast by how Andrea responded to the issue, refusing to take them to our veterinarian of choice (Vinegar Hill), as per all of the paperwork we had on file. It took us 4 extra hours to get our little guy to the correct vet where they were able to reattach the part of ear that was cut off. (The vet Andrea took him to suggested we cut it off as it would never reattach - which it did.)I don’t think Andrea and her team are bad people, I just don’t think they should be in a position to offer services to our beloved pets. I would never recommend any friend, family or colleague of mine to use their services - under any circumstance.If you have questions about my experience please do not hesitate to reach out to me as well. I’m only sharing this because i recently learned that a few of my neighbors here in DUMBO have had negative experiences with them as well. I know I am not alone. Just trying to share my experience so you don’t have the same.

I was happy with them till they start change all the groomers. Because the groomers are constantly changed my 2 poodle dogs start to panic and cry when I got them there! My last visit was a nightmare! I was scheduled at 12 am and my best friend got my dogs on time after 2 hours later the owner called me that they can’t do the job they always did.She say she care for them and don’t want hurting them because of bad conditions plus she say my last visit was 3 month ago which was wrong. First of all if she is very concerned about my dogs why she didn’t call me immediately that she can’t do the job and not left my dogs who is 13 years old and another is 11 years old sitting in cage for two hours and called me at 2 pm instead at 12! Another problem which is very unprofessional she always ask to tip the groomers! The price is hi anyway for 2 dogs and I given for each dog five dollars she told me it’s not enough so I give $10 each which is 20. Really unprofessional to push client for more tip!And I don’t think anyway this is necessary to give a tip constantly for the new groomer who I don’t even know because she change them all the time.Before when she groomed herself and had all perfectly organized I recommended this place to a many friends Now I will not recommend this place anymore!No.. No..No..... Bad!!!!

I love bringing our dog here. They take such good care of him! His trims and shaves always look good, his coat is always pillowy soft and shiny and smells so good. I cuddle him an extra long after grooming appointments because of Rocco and Jezebel. Also, they have a lot of pet supplies, toys and treats. I definitely recommend this place for doggie owners.

I just moved to Brooklyn Heights a few weeks ago with my 14-year old Maltese and I am so glad to have found Rocco and Jezebel! The people in the store, in particular the woman whom I assume is the owner, are wonderful and have lots of care for the animals that come in. I had no worries leaving my pup there for grooming, and when I returned to pick him up he was clean, adorable, and in good spirits! The store has fantastically high quality and special treats, and is reasonably priced, particularly for the area. I won't go anywhere else!

I moved out of the neighborhood three years ago but wouldn't take my dog anywhere else for grooming. I drive, or on nice days when I'm feeling energetic walk, past three or four other pet shops to take Bisquit here. He loves the staff, they love him and he always looks and smells great. As an abused, shelter rescue he has separation issues but I never worry when he is in their care. Forget the rest, try the best!

I think my cats health has really improved based on recommendations she’s made and it’s easy to ask very specific questions without feeling insane because of how passionate about pets she is.

In Sept. '17 my husband and I adopted Margo, a poodle / terrier mix that was seized from a hoarding situation. Having never had a dog that needed grooming I was at a loss and so reached out to our dog walker who in turn asked her other clients, which is how we came to Rocco and Jezebel. Margo can be a bit feisty with new people, but I got a reassuring text accompanied by a pic which totally put me at ease. A couple of hours later I was greeted by a very happy pup with an elegant cut that I was not expecting but really thrilled with. Will definitely be taking Margo back whenever she is in need of a trim, as well as her just adopted brother, Huey, who is some sort of Maltese concoction. In short, worth the trek and every penny.

I called to ask about their pet grooming services and some how ended the conversation with a list of new foods to try and things to look out for in my dog. I didn't have to spend a dime for the owner to give me a bit of her time and educate me about the foods i thought were healthy which could really be harmful to my dog. I didn't get her name but she was a delight to speak to so i will definitely be taking my dog in for her hair cut at Rocco and Jezebel!

So I've been coming here for almost 3 years and the owner always gave me attitude about my dog being matted. Her fur always gets tangled and that is why I bring her to the groomers to get help. But today definitely cut the cake.Me: "I made sure I combed and brushed her."Owner: "You have to always do that."Me: "i do."Owner: "Do u always comb herMe: “I brush her more often."Then she continues to go on"You should comb her more to get to the roots. If you were to take a brush and put it through your hair, it wouldn't work right?"I had a Afro and she pointed to it while she was speaking.I was so shocked I didnt say anything but realized that was very disrespectful and rude. Plus they took 6 hours to wash her because she said all the dogs came in matted.

In a city where customer service isn't always number one, these people really exceed your expectations. In every way. I have been trying to find the perfect food for my French Bulldog for about a year. Either his stools stayed loose, or he had skin issues, or both. I tried 6 different "high quality" foods for him, including Blue Buffalo, Royal Canin, ToTW, Merrick, Hills, Natural Balance... stools stayed loose. Even my 5 Star rated vet said to me "Frenchies just have skin issues and sensitive stomachs."The people at Rocco and Jezebel asked me, have his stools always been loose? I said yes. They asked what food was he on when I got him and I told them. They then discussed among themselves and did some research for a few minutes about what was going on and then suggested that he may be allergic to chicken. They told me to try lamb as a protein with Acana Lamb and Apple. Presto. His stool are firm and healthy, his coat has never looked better and as a bonus, no tear stains. Even though its about a mile walk, this is my new pet store.

Never in my life have I ever felt so disrespected by an interviewer. I had an interview set up with the owner here, I got news of a family member passing and the interview slipped my mind completely. I awoke to a very aggressive email stating “Maybe this is why no one wants to hire you.” I explained what had happened and told them to have a nice day and maybe think twice before sending rude messages because you never know what someone else is going through. Their response to me was “sure.” As if I were lying about my own family member passing. I’m so extremely upset with how this business decided to present themselves. Very very unprofessional
