Do not! I say do not groom your dog here !!!! My friend just called me to tell me her dog is traumatized and is not acting herself after she brought her here. Her tail is down and has been under the bed ever since bringing her here. She is even crying and barking trying to bite when you touch her. Now my friend is heading there because just like anyone she wants answers ! What are you guys doing here !? You will get reported!!!

This store always open late the schedule say is open at 10:00 am and is 10:20 is still close!!! That is not good at all.... otherwise change the schedule post!!!

My dog loves the staff... They give her the good treats when she comes and they carry the brands she loves so I do go heteonce a week. Merrick food & Stelka & Chewy lamb pattys are her fave...

All NYC Pet stores ( it is a local chain) are not the same. Many have gotten downright mediocre to bad but this one is still helpful and well stocked.

Nice pet store with good selection of pet supplies, food, bedding, toys, etc.The folks that work there are very knowledgeable and friendly to my two dogs and always give them treats when we come in to shop.

I can tell the staff don’t care about our pets I arrived one hour before closing and the guys telling me the stores closers there’s nun he can do about it and I’m trying tell him my dogs on her period bleeding everywhere and he’s like laughing saying he can’t do nothing all i needed was to buy pampers I’m never going there again shows how much they care for our pets ! Never going back there again !! SO COLD HEARTED

Love this store, they are truly for the people. They always have amazing sales on high quality canned foods & treats, bc I shop here my dog definitely eats so much better than what I could afford from a chain pet store or online.Also fun fact hills prescription diet does NOT actually need to be prescribed, the company has simply trademarked the word “prescription” for use in dog food. Thankfully they sell it at NYC pet without the arbitrary gatekeeping, so important b/c we all deserve to take care of our animals w/o being entrapped into expensive and questionably helpful vet appointments.& of course, the people at the store are all very kind and helpful. They go out of their way to check when things will be in stock, take orders over the phone, and offer free delivery in the neighborhood!

This store is fabulous for everything you need! Great choice of foods and so many different types for all our pets.Toys,home and travel with grooming parlour too.Melina, one of the girls who works there is a brilliant member of staff,so helpful and knowledgeable.She is always so welcoming and ready to help.Thank you 🐾

I like this place for the most part, I simply wish they actually opened at the times when they are supposed to open. On more than one occasion I have stopped by about 15 minutes after their supposed opening time to find the shutter-gate down and no one answering the phone. This can be supremely frustrating when you are on a tight schedule and/or have hungry animals at home. Other than that, the selection and prices are pretty decent.

Good local owned chain of pet stores. I used to give it 5 stars, but feel they price increase due to hipsters moving closer to their stores... Items have been known to jump 30% or more at a time... They do have a good dog grooming service at the Bushwick location , but seem to turn over a lot of staff here very quickly?I have mixed feelings about this place...

Its a nice store to have in the neighborhood, I like to support the businesses' in my neighborhood, my family has resided here over 50 years..problems is their prices are NOT competitive at all! They are expensive and not only a few cents. I'll pay for convenience but not when its a few dollars difference especially on little things like treats etc. Ive spoken to the management and they shrug their shoulders and do not seem to care.....I find that sad...

Rude stuff !!!Do not go to the store or order from the one on knickerbocker ave, I ordered Stella&chewy rabbit cat’s food from that store , when i gave it to my cat she threw it up every time she ate it so I called them that I wanted to return the food because it was very expensive, the owner or manager told me that they will contact Stella&chewy company and call me back which they never did so I wrote to Stella&chewy and they were actually very nice, they said they have 100% money back guarantee so actually the store should give me the money back But since they didn’t Stella&chewy sent me a voucher for free bag of their food , i took it to the store and they called me a fraud ! And i left the store without the food. They don’t care about their costumers at all!

Buying local is a great feeling. Amazing selection and prices are a little high but worth it for special items most other places don't have. I'm very glad they don't sell live animals coming from who knows what nightmare situation. The staff is always very friendly.Shop local!

The best service! Melina and her two co-workers were so friendly, professional and super helpful. They were decorating their Xmas tree. And wrote this very nice note. I am so happy I found a great store that has as much as a PetCo has and it's 5 mins away in car from Ridgewood/Bushwick and a 15 min walk from the apt 😻 Love this place!

Very Dog/Cat-centric. They don't give a fudge about any other pet owners needs.. went to look for a few toys for my birds an found 1 thing.. just a oversized perch. Nothing else. Literally 1 thing an it was located in the corner in the back of the store.🤦 If you have a pet supplies store just a suggestion you should offer a variety of everything not just for dogs an cats. People have birds & reptiles too. I have to go to a different borough out of my way just for a few items is ridiculous..

I came here on Wednesday 7/10 to buy cat food - after calling my vet in the afternoon we decided to put my cat on prescription food so I went back to return the unopened bag of cat food that same day. The woman working the register told me store credit only - ok great, no problem. She took my name and told me to tell the cashier working when I made my next purchase. I asked for a receipt and was told I wouldn’t need it. Ok fine!I came back today to pick up some things and tried to use my store credit only to be told that nothing was in the system, my name was not “written down anywhere” (the guy at the register picked up a scrap of paper on the counter to look?) and I should have gotten a receipt. He told me to “try coming back on Tuesday afternoon when the woman is working” and when I asked if he would call her or the manager to ask he said he didn’t have a phone number??????This is a really bad store policy.

I like it, it’s the best in our area and they have delivery which is nice. It’s clean and the staff are always friendly. They also have a free bag program for all your purchases which is really cool.

Store consistently closes early. I am coming from work and they are supposed to close at 6 yet I can’t buy litter for my cats because they decided to go home early. Ridiculous.

I went on Saturday the lady did a good job cut my dog hair true me my dog was with knotting and alot of hair now he is bold no more hair until September I take him back 👍🏻

Wide selection of pet products and they deliver. Minimum order of 30 dollars for delivery but prompt and courteous service. Pets allowed. Love it!
