Store at Driggs was nice and clean, and very well organized, I went there to get a certain type of food that they carry and asked the girl there who politely told me and informed me about what I was actually feeding my dog and even recommended me better dog food brands that would be much better for my four-legged friend to enjoy, she even told me about how certain raw hide treats are dangerous for my dog and even showed me some safer and non-toxic options as well! The girl seems to have good knowledge when it comes to animals which is to be expected since she works there, she even gave my a dog a treat when I went to check my stuff out at the counter, really good service, and I will most definitely come back here, especially if she's there.

I have been a loyal customer at your store for quite some time and have always enjoyed the unique products and friendly atmosphere. However, I feel compelled to share a recent experience that left me somewhat disappointed.During my last visit, I encountered a situation that affected the overall convenience and enjoyment of my shopping experience. While I appreciate the presence of kittens in the store, their free-roaming nature became a challenge. One of the kittens hid behind products near the dog toys, causing some tension when my dog, who was merely curious, was accused of being unfriendly by a store employee.This incident made the atmosphere less welcoming, and I felt rushed to complete my purchase to avoid further stress. I understand the importance of accommodating different customers, including those with cats, but I believe there could be a better approach to managing the presence of kittens.As a suggestion, it might be beneficial to designate a specific area for the kittens to ensure their safety and prevent potential interactions with dogs. This way, all customers can enjoy a seamless and stress-free shopping experience.Despite this experience, I remain a fan of your store and its offerings. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe it could contribute to creating a more inclusive and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

This place should not have 3 cats roaming around the store. Many dogs (including mine) come into this store and it’s not uncommon for them to react to the presence of cats. Many breeds (especially if they are herding breeds) do this. If you own a pet store shouldn’t you know?!?!They (the workers) also get mad if your dog reacts to their 3 cats running around. It’s okay if a bodega or establishment that dogs don’t go into has them, but this place is tiny pet store in which big and small dogs go into all day. It’s super irresponsible to do this and unfair to the cats inside the store and the dogs that go inside with the shoppers. Do better.

Staff is friendly and they do ask if I need any help or you can just ask them. The prices are to high but they do have a large selection to choose from. If you need to save a few dollars, then shop somewhere else. I really give them a 3 1/2 star rating due to prices.

The staff at this location are very frendly. They ask if you need help and gladly answer all the questions. They have all the food that all the costumers needs in the area, like me. They never low in stock, and if they do, they always place an order right away so I can have it soon for pick up. Great service all together.

Solid local shop with a great selection of mid to high end items. They also have a large selection of frozen items in the back. The staff here is always super sweet with our pup and helpful with recommendations. They offer free samples if you’re unsure or have a picky eater.

It's very convenient but extremely, EXTREMELY expensive. Overpriced beyond imagination. Even more than the specialty pet stores on N9th. This place had the gaul to charge me $5.97 for a 3oz can of cat food (?!) and I didn't notice until I asked for a receipt, which they never print out unless asked. This is at least three times (yes, 3x!) the cost of this brand literally anywhere else.The staff isn't straightforward with the reward system they have in place; I conveniently never heard about it when I was buying two very expensive carriers -- and they refused to credit those charges to my phone number when I finally did know about the reward system. They don't refund anything and they don't care about your experience here. It genuinely feels like a scam.Unfortunately, after this last visit I'm going to use Chewy or Amazon exclusively. I wanted to support a local business but one that actively gauges. If you take care of your customers, they take care of you. If you want to play games, enjoy going out of business. They need new management.

Edited 7/16/22The owner changes or workers changed recently. The previous workers were so knowledgeable and friendly, but they are gone. I went twice after the staff change and wanted to keep living the place , but I cannot. The guy cannot answer any question regarding the products they sell, and seems not yo like dogs. My dog got used to receiving a treat at register and was clearly sending the message for his anticipation, but he didn’t give anything to him. I was willing to pay more retail price than other online stores for the fun experience of my dog ( getting live and treat at the end) but that doesn’t happen anymore. They don’t take phone number for some sort of reward program ( though I never received any reward so not sure why they used to ask phone number) either. I will not be going back much.——They have a great assortments and two ladies work there are super nice and offer full of nice advice what to buy. My dog loves this store so much as they give him a high quality treat everyone he visits here he keeps going to knock the front door after his visit to McCarren dog park at night , as he doesn’t understand it’s closed at 7:00pm, so he is super happy that he can visit the store during the weekend! His favorite is duck feet and freeze dry treats we can buy here. :)

A tiny 3oz can of cat food here is $6Even by Williamsburg standards that is absurdThey don’t have prices displayed on their items and once you purchase them you find out they’re outrageously expensive… & you’re not allowed to return them! Even if you just checked out.Plenty of other options that are more affordable — avoid this place

Bought several items and one by mistake (was 2x the price I thought). Paid w Apple Pay and while *STILL AT THE REGISTER* said “oh I’m sorry I didn’t mean to get this”, was told by the manager there are no refunds. I HADN’T EVEN LEFT THE REGISTER. I was like, come on I bought this ONE SECOND AGO - IT WAS A MISTAKE and he was like 🤷🏻‍♀️ sorry that’s our policy. (It cost me $90 instead of $45 and I needed that money to buy groceries)Sadly this is the reason mom and pop stores are going out of business. You can buy something from a big chain store and return it opened 30 days later with no hassle. I always try to support local, but this just felt RUDE. Obviously if they had made the mistake and rung up something incorrectly, they would’ve given me a refund. And honestly he was *smirking the whole time like* - I got ur money, nothing you can do now. Sad to say but will never shop there again.

Helpful employees! As soon as I walked in the store, an employee asked if I needed help. I needed wee pads for my cat and the guy working there didn’t know how much the price was (lots of the items that I was looking at weren’t priced immediately printed). Still, the employee gave me the price, and I was happy with the amount.

Wouldn’t accept a manufacturer’s voucher I was given because of a defective product I purchased from them! We’ve been buying from NYC Pet everything for our dog but we’ll never step there again.They were basically hinting that the voucher looks suspicious and there are many fake vouchers around - are you kidding me?!? If you have any doubt, please call the manufacturer to verify, call your boss, or do whatever is needed to make sure a loyal customer get the most basic service.All I got was “maybe try at a different location of ours” and whose gonna carry the huge bag all that way?!?

A little disappointed. Came here a few times and enjoyed coming in. The staff was friendly and they carry the brands that I use. When I went in today, I had checked the prices on their website, but was charged $7 more for one item than it was listed online and another was charged $1 over what the sign in store has it listed for. When I asked the guy at the counter why it was more, he just shrugged and said that's what it is. I asked to return it since I hadn't even left the store yet and he said I could only get store credit. Annoyed with both the price difference, and the guy's attitude. The ladies that work there have always been really nice and helpful though.

Very thankful for this pet supply store. When we went directly to the company we get our raw from we placed an order and waited a week with no arrival. So we called them and realized they did not deliver to us even though they took our payment and said it would ship. NYC Pet was able to rush us our delivery the same day. Thanks again we will be ordering from you guys from now on.

About July 2 my dog Stinky was very sick !After being to so many vets And none of them could pin point the problem with her,I was leaving with my wallet lighter of $700 each time !I went to the store looking for CBD oil to make her more comfortable ,Very emotional, making no sense at all when I was asking for it .ISMAEL was working that day and took his time with me ... found the right one for her , listen to me crying and gave me comfort as I was falling apart !None of the veterinarians did that for meUnfortunately Stinky left me on July 4-thThank you Ismael for your great customer service and your heart !!

Friendly staff and one of the last bastions of pet food stores in Williamsburg, I've seen four others close in the past two years. The widest selection for produces in the neighborhood, especially when you are looking for cat supply in a neighborhood full of dog-focus stores.

Walked in & asked right away if needed any help,I asked for a specific brand and the reply of the shop clerk was "We have similar brands to that junkie food",I asked her to please repeat what she said and she left out the rude condescension the second time.If you are going to be rude & judgemental to your customers you should own it.Won't be shopping here even if they had the brand my pets ate.

Honestly, I've maybe shopped there maybe once or twice. I have quite a few dogs so I usually go to store where I can get the bang for my buck. I did buy 3 toys and spent about $40 which imo was quite expensive.

Lots of options for dog foods. Raw and kibble as well as good treat optons. The staff are kind and helpful and the store isn't overly stocked like most NYC pet stores
