Bad customer service. I’ve ordered delivery from here three times and each time my order arrived late (even if given a specific time window) or wrong (items being replaced with other lower cost items but no charge adjustment.) My frozen dog food arrived late and entirely thawed out, and when I asked for a refund on at least the delivery fee they ghosted me. Won’t be shopping here anymore :(

Very friendly stuff. My two Huskies love to come here. The staff always spoil them with treats 😍 🐺🐺🥩 The store has many varieties of dog food. Always when I come, there is something new. Very recommended to come and see the store, your pup will love it 😋🐺

I love coming here for my pet food treat's and how they show their customers respect very nice and neat place. Love the way how they take care peoples pet's. When you go to NYC PET you are like family there.

A decent place for only the very basics. I went shopping for a harness and decided to place my old one in the donation bin since it was barely worn. I have to express my extreme disappointment to that exact distinct one on the rack with a price tag on my next trip. Won’t be donating or shopping there again soon.

Please update your store hours on Google, came today at 9:15 am to find out you now open at 10 am according to the note on the door. I am satisfied with selection as they always have product I get for my dog in stock, but customer service is bad. Not asking for some over the top boutique treatment, simply not ignoring customer's questions would be nice.

My absolute go to for all my cat needs . It's right up my block they are well stocked and pretty competitive as far as having what any good shop would for food toys and treats. The staff is very caring and helpful..

My cat was just diagnosed with diabetes. Rather than have him on insulin right away, I opted to visit my local pet store to see what they had as far as natural holistic meds. When I approached the lady at the register to ask, she replied that I would need to get any meds from my vet. Again, not what I asked for. I clearly know meds come from a doctor/vet.I told her I wanted to go a more natural way. I also asked what she would recommend as far as wet food high in protein. She said depends on what your vet said... Why even go to a pet store if they aren't willing to help? She was dismissive and rude and I just left. My money will go elsewhere where customer service is better . Ah, she did tell me to have good day sarcastically after I put back 3 items I wanted to purchase on the shelves. Whoever you are, blonde hair white lady-i will never go to this store again. My money matters.

These guys are great! Super friendly. I had to return a flavor of cat food that my cats did not like; they took the exchange, no questions asked.I love having a place like this in the neighborhood!

I love that this store carries more holistic pet food brands (I use fromm for my kitties) and feline pine cat litter. They also deliver locally. Sometimes the cashiers are a bit in la-la land and I have to wait by the cash wrap until someone arrives, but overall a great pet-friendly pet shop. This one is a lot smaller than the one on knickerbocker but slightly larger than the location on myrtle Ave. Clean store and it's usually easy to find the brands and when they move stuff, staff is knowledgeable and point me in the right direction

Their site says open until 7pm, but there at 6:49pm this Saturday and was told through the glass that they close at 6:40. Working 8-8 the next 5 days, so S.O.L. on my dog's usual food this week. Otherwise, good selection and prices and nice staff.

They don't post the prices on their dog food and claim it's because the prices change. This is dog food, guys, not oil commodities. There's a sign next to the cash register that says to please direct "price complaints" to the manager. Mr. Manager: Your customers deserve to know how much they're paying. Fix this.Oh yeah, and also customer service is non-existent and special orders are generally ignored, just like above. Try a competitor down the road (south).

Excellent neighborhood pet store with everything you need for that dog or cat, though not a large supply for other pets. Good selection of organic pet foods. Though the staff could be friendly and a bit more knowledgeable, this is the place to go when you don't want to make that trek to Petco at Union Square.

Large selection of pet food & there's often sales but it's overpriced, in general, & the staff can be either stand offish or down right rude. I recommend Muddy Paws a few blocks down instead.

7:40pm on a Saturday night, "Cool, NYC pet closes at 8pm, perfect, we can get the cat some food on the way home" ...roll up to the door, "Ah damn, they're closed, wait, internet said they close at 8pm?"Guess the early 20 something employee had a party to get to in the Lower East Side and needed to close up shop early.Anywho, this place is unreliable and the staff seem to hate life. Go to PS9 in Williamsburg, never had a bad experience there.

This store doesn't seem to understand that customer satisfaction is a part of their bottom line. They never seem to have the same inventory from week to week. It seems like they are simply buying whatever is on sale on any given week. Not great customer service.

I want to like this place, mostly because we don't have many options, but they're never we'll stocked and customer service is non existent for the most part. Any requests for orders are met with blank stares and the staff has a habit of closing early

Like the place, they have quite alot of different brands of dog and cat food. Its not the cheapest store, but if you need something asap, dont bother buying online and just visit them.
