Guys, how come that you don't know the law? I was trying to buy a whipped cream can or whip-it and your cashier asked me for ID? It is illegal. According to the law you suppose to ask for ID if somebody wants to buy a whipped cream charger not the can. And the sign you have next to this product should be removed.

Used to like this store but now it's better to honestly express the disappointment with what's happening sometimes and as a result have to put 1 star instead of 5.Bought a salad which turned out to be spoiled and brought it back to the store same day. The only thing that a cashier did was took an old label from the shelf to get it updated for a new one with the higher prices (these salads were 2.79 and prices went up to 4.29). Well, in order to sell with any price the salads should be edible, not spoiled - but they didn't take them off the shelves to check and contact the manufacturers of those salads. It's a problem, because it's showing that the store inflated pricing for the spoiled foods.Same happens very often with another brand of dairy products - Family Tree, although not only dairy of Family Tree. Store often refuses refunds or exchange for the spoiled foods to customers.

This location is pretty small and didn't carry a few items we were there to get, which were available at bigger locations. Everything was tidy and cooked foods were clearly labeled. The cashier was very friendly.

the store is really good, always buy from them, my kids love to go there. but today for the first time I felt uncomfortable there, the seller Lydia H in a rude voice told me to speak english, I don’t mind, but I always communicated with the sellers in this store in russian. could this attitude be due to the fact that I am of asian appearance? maybe this seller was in a bad mood today, but communication with sellers is so important to me, it leaves a mark on my mood. with all due respect, your regular customer.

Nice place to come to for groceries as I see many people come here but I do feel like the prices are a bit more than normal so I don't come here often. The staff is nice and haven't had any problem when shopping here. I like the fact they make in house fresh bread and some interesting birthday cakes. Also they give extra grocery bags free without charge unlike many other places which I appreciate.Update: 11/29/21The place does not have everything listed on the weekly ads. It difficult to find things in the store. They dont give discounted prices until you have a store card most other places I have been to allow the discount even if you dont have a store card on you. Don't think I will come here very often as most items are overpriced. They now charge 25 cents for the reusable bags.

Prices don't seem that much cheaper than other supermarkets, although they might have a larger variety.. Finding a parking spot to carry you groceries to your car is an impossible task, but that's just Brooklyn in general trying to find a parking spot! Just the way I see it!

this was my regular shopping place to buy food for years. Past few years it's been all disappointment, not to mentioned highly overpriced products even higher prices than pandemic can justify, biggest problem with whole foods, most fruits and vegetables rotten or very old. Nobody even bothers to remove rotten produce anymore. I can buy way fresher vegetables at smaller grocery stores and at cheaper prices. Net Cost Market became traditional soviet style business, rotting from inside out. My last visit today

Very dissapoited with senior discount. They changed policy 10% for senior. Only 1 authorized person can do shopping. Not good. Also price went up twicely. If they not gonna changed the way it was people will stop go shopping to net cost. And business will go down. You should change better option fo discount sooner.

The cashier was super nice, some young guy. All was good until a supervisor blond came up and started blasting at him for something - in total ignore that there was a customer there being checked out. The guy had to stop what he was doing and she keep going until I interfered and requested that she waited until he finished with my groceries. Ugh she was gross and I don't know how she's anything above anyone in this store...

Great variety of products from countries of former USSR. Not much of the product quality control though. The cooked dishes had taste below the average. The prices are respectively better than in supermarkets

It's a good neighborhood supermarket. Has a good variety of vegetables, fruits, and dairy. Not a big variety of salad bar and hot food. That's the only downside, but overall a great store.

Local manager by name Irakli better be replaced by a more adequate manager (like Marina, who's currently is an assistant manager at the main office). Irakli doesn't seem to understand the risks associated with selling spoiled cooked food, like a salad made from mushrooms and mayo. Instead of apologies and refund in full he started to explain that he isn't going to refund the money - apparently whatever you had to spit out, he wants for the customers to bring back in that same container for him to weigh. Sorry, but what if he will just place it back and will try to resell - where's guarantee he won't? Spoiled food supposed to go to the garbage, but apparently that's not the case with Irakli at NetCost.He also could not care less about wearing PPE (face mask 😷), as well as some other staff (not all) during pandemic - apparently thinking if no other manager or staff or customer seen that, so didn't any of the viruses.This used to be a better store in the past.

Please replace the refrigerators on 65th street store. It is disguising to do shopping in this store, since the moldy smell comes out from multiple refrigerators. They should be replaced, not fixed. It has been for at least 2 years how I see guys trying to fix them over and over. They leak, people can often witness puddles from leaking refrigerators near cashiers and hot food in the middle of the store. Some of the fridges have visible mold. It's simply unsafe to shop in there with kids. And also, do something with flies that sit on bread.

Netcost Market store on Kings Highway in Bensonhurst doesn't have a marked location on the map, so here's the review for it, as this is the same company. It seems like this location is where they bring all the expired items. The bread they sell grows mold the next days, their dry goods (cereals, cookies etc.), canned and preserved foods are months, sometimes years past their expiration date. Their dairy produce oftentimes has mold at the time of the purchase. They have even have a designated area with boxes and boxes of expired goods, that's for the items showing date stamp clearly. The rest of the store is filled with molding rotten food. Yes, it is true, and has been like this for years. How come the store is not marked on the map? They don't want the reviews, that's how.

Love shopping here. They have all of my favorite Russian products plus all the necessities. I also appreciate the butchers for always cutting my chicken in half for me (I use it to make my kids soup so never need an entire chicken).

I don't really know what some of the other reviewers are talking about, because every time I have come here, the fruits and vegetables are so fresh and good! I don't know any other supermarket that has as good of a selection as Net Cost in the whole area. I love their prices too - especially if you sign up for their card (free), you can get some really good deals (like Greek yogurts for only $1.. I mean the good brands too!).The people who work here are so cute and nice. Everything is super organized and clean. The space is so easy to navigate and they have absolutely everything you could want. Also, the food at the hot bar is sooo good -perfect when I am too lazy to cook :). This is by far my favorite supermarket in Brooklyn!

Friendly personnel but their kitchen is disappointing lately. Don't buy soup "Borscht" - too much vinegar added that ruin the taste and cause stomach upset ; fish dishes mostly overcooked and dry; potato with portabella mushrooms is too salty that went right away to garbage... just a money wasting 😝😕👎

Great Russian deli and good prices. Have a nice cold buffet with all different items. Always get their eggplant spread salad. Have a nice hot buffet with a lot of Russian dishes. Prices are pretty good.

Purchased some grapes and blackberries from Netkost on 65th street. Nothing was fresh. All spoiled and moldy, I wish I’d noticed that in the store. Can’t trust Netkost. A man in the line in front of me noticed that he was charged more than he was supposed to for one of his items and pointed that out to the cashier. Thus, a Netkost customer always needs to check and make sure that the product is fresh, not spoiled, and that the amount he or she pays is correct while in the store. No more trust.Also, prices are pretty high in comparison to other stores.

Borscht here is usually good, but the one I got today was completely spoiled. Store managers: Please list the date when it's packed for all the soup. It's pretty pricey for one big container & I don't want to take the risk every time I shop.

This is absolutely my family's go-to little supermarket in the area. We come here for everything: fruits, vegetables, cereal, milk, cheese, pre-made salads and sometimes the hot food too. If you're buying pre-bagged bread, just stop and get some bakery-fresh bread here, it's delicious. They have 100 different salamis and kielbasas and 100 different teas. It's Russian as heck but everything is written in English and everyone speaks English well too so don't worry about that.
