My dogs really liked shopping here. I loved shopping here. I can’t wait to go back. This store is very pet friendly and has wide aisles; large pet strollers fit easily and so do wheelchairs/walkers. The store is well lit and very clean. I specifically came for advice with balanced meals, I’m now cooking for my dogs. There is a good selection of meal additives, toppers and human grade pet foods.My other reason for shopping at My Natural Pet was to get a harness for a hard to fit dachshund. Margo tried on every harness and ultimately took my name and number for when his comes in, he’s a specialty order. My special boy.Next, matching outfits for the holiday season. This was so much fun. The dogs tried on a bunch of stuff- see pics- if you have ever seen Last Holiday with Queen Latifah - that was the vibe in the store. It was FABULOUS. They were offered little complimentary treats. The store has the best overall vibe as far as pet stores in the neighborhood.We did get a few things off list. There was no hard sell, we just could not resist, Frank Sinatra helped himself to a reindeer toy. It’s nice when dogs can pick out there own toys and treats. It was more fun than Chewy. Sashay tried on a few dresses and is coming back for pics with Santa in the green plaid one. We bought three sweaters, one dress, two treats, one toy, meal additives and spent about $100.

This place is the best! I was recommended here by a client and Melissa did an amazing job with our toy poodle. I had no idea what to ask for but she knew just what to do! We'll definitely be back!

this is the best pet store in brooklyn! every employee is so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and i really feel like i am feeding my animals the best food and getting the absolute best advice here. i also love that this place is woman owned! margo, the owner, is always ready to help me out and you can tell she has years of experience. i also love all their fun toys and treats! highly recommend! ❤️

Margo and her amazing team are fantastic. They are always friendly and helpful. Their prices are great and I have fun with the dog and cat toys. The fact that they support rescues by holding adoption events AND also host monthly vaccine clinics makes it even better.

We have been using My Natural Pet store for a number of years to shop for our now 10-year old Long Coat German Shepherd. The store is excellent. The product selection is top-notch – products are natural, chemical-free and organic. When you shop for your pet here, you can be assured that they will get the best stuff on the market. Everyone is very friendly. Margo - the owner - is also extremely knowledgeable about every product and company that produces it. If you have questions or concerns, she always spends a lot of time with your discussing your issues and making great recommendations. We will certainly continue coming here.

What is not to love about this business? The staff are very friendly & knowledgable on their products. They have a genuine passion for your fur babies & it shows. I love the variety of foods that are offered from frozen to canned. A ton of supplies & grooming tools & conditioners & dental care. My little girl tried the freeze dried Frog Legs for the first time & was crazy about them!! They have so many healthy choice options, cute custom collar tags, birthday cookie cakes for your fur baby, & cute clothes & accessories. We love coming here for their photo booth area, where you can take photos of your pet for free. On holidays and special occasions, they have someone dressed up as a character like cupid, santa paws, and other cute things, who sit with your pet and you can take a picture with them. You can also have your pet solo with the adorable backdrop. Love it here! They also offer teeth cleaning! love that. 10/10!

Great store with nice selection of high quality pet foods. Frozen section too including raw goat's milk and other human grade dog and cat foods. I buy my dog's food there and have been really happy with what I've purchased. They also give great recommendations if you are not sure what to try for your pet.

Such a sweet and resourceful store. Not only do they have a wide range of healthy pet food options, I’m always finding extra snacks and toys for my cats. Not to mention the owner has the best cat behavior advice! Super thank you for the visitor anxiety tips.

Love My Natural Pet. Lexi loves the wet food and her new tunnel toy that my girlfriend bought recently. The Halloween and Christmas family pictures are so awesome. The staff there are terrific.

The dog I walk got out of his collar and we were right outside this store. I let him in and he ran in like a banshee and made a whole scene. They helped us find a harness and helped us tighten it to get the right fit. What a bunch of lifesavers. Here is the naughty boy in his new harness.

I absolutely love this store for my dog. They have a variety of healthy foods and absorbable accessories. My dog loves their birthday cakes. All the workers are so kind and knowledgeable, especially Brianna. I love going their when she is working and my dog just loves her. I’ve been taking my dog their for several months getting her groomed and the groomer does a fantastic job considering my dog has high Anxiety. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone for grooming and shopping for their pet.

My dog and I really love visiting this local pet supply store. The staff is always friendly - 9 times out of 10 someone is ready to give my dog a treat. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I know I am getting QUALITY products for my dog and cat. I am looking forward to scheduling a grooming session soon!

I have tried several different groomers in the Bay Ridge area and had the best experience here. The groomer was so patient with my standard poodle who hates getting groomed. They were so kind and patient and made my poodle look and feel amazing. Everyone that works here is so incredibly nice, patient and helpful. The pricing here is reasonable and so worth it. We absolutely love it here and will be back!

I love this place. I always try to support local businesses, and it is especially nice when the local business supports the community, and My Natural Pet is a huge supporter of community initiatives helping animals and supporting local rescues. The owner and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable about health and nutrition and always super friendly and attentive. The shop has an excellent selection of food, toys, and other items for dogs, cats, and other pets, all competitively priced. I can't recommend this place enough! Come here to make your pets healthy and happy!

I have had nothing but the best service at My Natural Pet. I’m in here at least twice a week. The products they sell are the highest quality around. I feel like I’m at home with friends. They are so knowledgeable of all their products, they answer each and every one of my questions no matter how detailed or how silly. It’s been almost 10 years since I’ve had a dog and they have made this new chapter in my like so smooth. Arturo’s grooming experience was fabulous! The Groomer and employee spoke to me in detail about the process and I knew what to expect. I’m so happy that they are in my neighborhood. If you ever have the pleasure of visiting the store and meeting the owner, she is the best!! 👏🏻👏🏻

They really care about finding the most natural and healthy supplies for cats, dogs and other animals, and if you have any questions or need an advice, they’re always there for you and your furbaby! My puppy had her first grooming session here and she is short haired. She is still growing her fur needless to say she had a burn mark on her chest after the grooming session and left over nail clippings on her nails after the session. I will not be returning.In response to Owner’s Reply- My puppies name should not be on your response. Her name needs to be removed immediately! The occurrence and your associate staff response have definitely caused me to take my business elsewhere. Do not contact me further!

I love this place. Farrell & Margo are the best! My little pup (Marty) always has the best time with Melissa. She is consistent, patient, and truly the best groomer. He is a nervous dog and I don't know what Melissa does but he LOVES her. I trust everyone who works here with my beloved little baby. It's super important to me to feel comfortable where I leave my dog. I want to ensure he is safe and is getting the proper care and I can guarantee that My Natural Pet will do that for you as well.Seriously, come here to get your dog groomed. Melissa is always on time too. I HATE waiting for anything and she is always ready when I get there and Marty is so excited to see me after. (The best feeling ever). They will be the freshest pup on the block. I can't say enough good things.

My Natural Pet is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood!I’d been in a few times, but recently went in to purchase some low phosphorous food for my cat who was recently diagnosed with chronic kidney failure. He doesn’t always eat his prescription food. The lovely owner took a lot of time with me to go over options, share her experiences and gave me very good suggestions. I left feeling great about my purchases and feeling hopeful! This place is now my go-to! It’s also a beautifully arranged place and they hold adoption events. Well done and good luck!

My experience with my natural pet is nothing more than awesome. Everybody that works there knows what they are doing. They know my dog by name. They know me by name they are so personable they text me events that are so great. You could take pictures with your dog at certain events during the year. They have adoption days which is incredible. The groomer is phenomenal. My puppy loves her she get so excited when I drop her off and she get such great treatment . And I get exceptional customer service because it's a store and not online. So everything I possibly need they know. I've gone there since the day that they opened and I haven't passed that store without buying something which is literally 3 to 4 days a week their prices are amazing and my suggestion is if you need to go to a pet store this should be the only one you would consider. I really feel that at the very least if you're in the neighborhood or close to it you should definitely stop by and see it for yourself.

This is in response to the comment that was left on my last review for my puppy Berlin.We were told by our vet that we would have to wait until he is up to date with certain medical records to take him to the vet reasons why his first visit to the groomer was 5 weeks ago. Your establishment should know that was the case being that you guys needed approval for medical records as well so you saying that he should of been groomed more often is actually pointless. My puppy getting groomed 5 weeks ago wouldn’t have caused him to be “extremely matted”. My puppy was sent to his last groomer in the same condition and they took two hours to properly groom him and didn’t have to cut him low at all. The reason why we decided to go to your establishment was because we wanted a closer location but I regret this so much. We explained to the groomer that he doesn’t have any behavioral problems, he is very friendly and loving, with that being said, I feel like the groomer should at least tried to get the knots out first before deciding to just shave him. We agreed for him to be cut low but what she had already shaved off when we had to turn around wasn’t the same length when he was picked up. He is shaved way too much. More than we expected! You saying that Berlin looks adorable is beside the point, I’m his owner and I am unhappy with his appearance so with all due respect, your opinion doesn’t matter. My one star review is because I am clearly unhappy with his groom. If you find this offensive that is a personal issue, this is all comes with owning a business and you should know you can’t please everyone, especially when it comes to someone’s puppy. Also I feel like we were overcharged. The groomer said it was $85 but with the knots it would be $10 extra which equals $95 but you gave us $5 off, but with tax the total came out to $97 so it seems like were charged for the knots.

I was stoked when this store opened. When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner and her husband who are so nice. She walked us around the store pointing out the best food for our dog who has allergies. Then we found out they offer grooming which is hard to find in the neighborhood. The groomer is FANTASTIC. i cannot say enough about how nice, friendly, and knowledgable she is. One of my dogs is 13, so he's been to lots of groomers, but he's never had such a great cut. When we were able to get an appointment after the quarantine, we were amazed at what an amazing job she did. She bathed him twice. She is absolutely the best groomer I've ever encountered. We moved to Williamsburg in December, but still take the dogs back to Bay Ridge because the service is just that good. The staff is so nice- we always get a friendly reminder call the day before the appointment. What i like most about this store is they remember us- I feel welcomed and appreciated when i go in there. It's a great experience all around, and i hope people will support local small businesses instead of big chains- especially now.

I wish I could give My Natural Pet and Margo's team 100 stars. My very senior cat was diagnosed last week with IBD, and my vet was not at all helpful in explaining the disease and what it meant for my 18 year old kitty. I did a lot of research, and went to the store for the first time last week to seek the best food options. What I got was an incredible amount of knowledge, an unsurpassed willingness to help determine the best course of action, and a team who really cared about helping me with my kitty. I cannot shout it loudly enough from the rooftops of Brooklyn. THANK YOU MARGO and your team.

I love this place. There are so many specialty items here. The prices are reasonable. The fancy shmancy natural food I get for my cats (Weruva wet food) is such a hit with them and it's cheaper than other pet stores. I wish I had a dog because they have such great merchandise for puppers- a huge selection of clothing, toys, treats, even pastries! They also cater to other pets like birds, fish, etc. They offer delivery and pick-up, as well as grooming services. The owner and the staff are so nice. It's clean, well-organized, and always well stocked. A great local mom and pop pet store.
