I’ve been coming here for a while, the cheese section is very good. Veggies and fruits are fresh, good price on the Fiji water,(yes I am fancy). Most of the cashiers are kind and nice. A good place to get almost everything you need regarding food.Go and check it out !!!I will take more pictures of every single shelve to show the varíete of products they have.

You can drop off UPS items here but beware, if it's lotto time, you will have a wait. They have pre-made sandwiches and salads. Favorite super Market in a 10 block radius in church ave.

Most of the time they keep pretty good fresh fish and the service lady is usually polite and friendly. I've never asked her for her name or anything like that ,but seems to be the kind of person that is committed to helping people find what they want in the store.

Decent selection and one of the few supermarkets on the area, but customer service definitely leaves something to be desired. Also if you close at 9pm, please do that and don't deny entry at 850pm. It's really not that hard to make an announcement in store that you're closing or to let people know upon entry that they only have a few minutes.

Great prices, and atmosphere I always shop here and so far I’ve always had great experiences until today. I was there 15 minutes before closing time, along with other customers and one of the employees got on the speaker and was yelling for customers to gather their items and take it to the cashiers or else they would be left back, the manner in which it was said was very terrible to me along with the other customers, terrible sounding and terrible looking. I think customers should be valued and not shooed away in such a rude manner; it could have been said way better.

This is the best supermarket by far on Church Ave. I will not go anywhere else. The staff is very welcoming. Especially Anabelle and Tiff. These two ladies will do anything to help you. I have a great experience every I shopped at this Ideal supermarket location.

Many sale items are not properly labeled with the sale price and sometimes the new price is not updated in system so employee has to check the price...of course if the price has not been changed it makes no sense so customers DO NOT benefit from the advertised sale price. Employees are generally helpful and polite. Shopping there is a reasonable experience. It is a decent neighborhood supermarket.

The store has renovated and it is beautiful now. The workers have a new attitude to match the beauty of the store. I will love for everyone in the neighbourhood to go in because you are guaranteed to find what you are looking for. This new Ideal is like a Trader Joe's of Church Ave. Please keep up the good work guys, and for everyone in the hood see you there.

I remembered when Ideal was NSA. But, I haven't been in years until recently and I was so impressed by the changes. The store was renovated and feels more open and brighter. It's cheaper than Shop n Fair and I love the variety of foods. The customer service is warm and friendly. I will be back in the near future.

I like this supermarket. Its clean, meat is fresh and prices and sales are good.Also if you want a good hero this is the place to go. But as usual some make heros better than others. Like anyplace else theres nice cashiers and rude ones. Only too often prices are not as advertised. But managers will fix that.

Very good selection on items. Easy to move through the aisles. Two precautions: check items for expiration or best before (BB) dates and at cash register watch the price. More than once I have experienced a higher price than what's on the item. Again, good place to shop with good prices!

I shop in Ideal Food Basket often. They have recently upgraded the store entrance, changed the way fruits and vegetables are displayed. Organic fruits and vegetables have been added. The cashiers are pleasant. The help of the food stockers are helpful. Today I was looking for Nacho Cheese Doritos that was on sale. The shelves were stocked with Spicy Nachos and Ranch. One of the workers was stacking can goods, I asked if he knew if any Cheese Nachos was available. He said, just a minute. He went to get a ladder and found a couple of boxes of the Nacho cheese. He gave me what I wanted and stocked the shelf with Nacho Cheese. That is excellent customer service. When items are not available customers get a rain check without a problem.

This market is always very clean. Whether I'm shopping for cooked food, produce or meat of any kind. They even have different kinds of fresh baked bread that's delicious. Everything is always fresh and properly stocked. Best of all if you don't see what your looking for, the stuff is there to help you find it.

I like shopping here don’t get me wrong but it seems like I could never leave the supermarket happy. the staffs are ok and they are very nice and respectful and friendly! but just 1 particular person who’s always picking a fight with me. and I’m not the only person who’s he bothered. he even bother my mom once. he harasses you and sometimes he comes at you for not paying attention at what happens for example someone stole something and he kept coming at me because I didn’t say anything meanwhile I just got there and I didn’t even know someone was taking something. SO UNPROFESSIONAL YOU SHOULD NEVER GO THROUGH THIS AS A REGULAR CUSTOMER!

I was able to start a vegan diet from buying the foods there. The vegan sausage and cheese is delicious. My co-worker loved the smell of the sausage, she asked me to get her a couple of it, and she was impressed, she loves it.

The look of the food market has changed. It has been upgraded and offers more trendy products such as kombucha. This supermarket has been around for many years. The fact that it has been upgraded is definitely another sign of the neighborhood changing. Prices are still decent.

Wendy the cashier suggested I have my food delivered after passing a $150 spending limit, I was skeptical because I live on the other side of Brooklyn, she never looked at the address after I was asked to write it down along with my name and number on paper. I leave the store and it took me about 20 mins or more to get home ,she said the delivery would go out in 15 to 20 mins. I get home and no one has arrived for almost an hour, I call the supermarket and all these people are answering unprofessionally..not giving their names , mumbling. I ask why my food has not been delivered and the person tells me the delivery guy went on break..... Wow so I waited 15 mins before calling back.. Called again and asked and was told "oh you know what happened, they put your address in GPS and that's too far mami" .NO ONE TOLD ME THE DELIVERY DISTANCE WHILE I WAS IN THE STORE.. all they said was yea its far...the guy is on break.....that has nothing to do with me!! then a woman with a carribean accent answers and tried to bring me to a calm by constantly calling me baby, Unprofessional!!!!!! tells me she wasn't on the floor when Wendy told me my groceries can be delivered, because if she was she would have told me I live too far. I had somewhere to be that was extremely important and scheduled but because I had to wait for them to deliver my food which would take 40 mins after the guy comes off his break in 15 mins. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. LACK OF COMMUNICATION, pure unprofessionalism. I don't care about the good prices the people that dealt with me were rude and when my food was delivered I had items In my bag that were not mine and some things I purchased were missing.The only reason why I did not go back to the supermarket is because I didn't want to end up in any BS with how angry I was. DO BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brought mangoes that tasted like I was in the islands fresh and sweet. Had a great selection of West Indian products, the prices were pretty reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful would shop there again when back in town.✌️✌️

I love Ideal Food Basket! The food is fresh & also affordable. The staff is friendly and helpful ( and they do deliver!!) I imagine I live outside the catchment area but I always give the driver a good tip & they bring it right to my porch. Plus if you receive wic or food stamps the money stretches.

This place charges a bottle deposit but does not readily reimburse your deposit. Will definitely file a complaint.I've had to return home with the bottles several times. This is unfair.

Encourage your employees to wear their masks properly not below their noses. And encourage the clients to social distancing when at the cashier. Other than that love the variety you offer.
