It is a very large store compared to other pet stores I've been to in Brooklyn. I had a number of questions and the person there was down-to-earth, friendly and helpful and even offered to order things that they didn't have in-store. (I declined as I don't live near here.)I would definitely stop-in if I am ever around this area again - thank you!

been coming here since it opened & it was great for awhile. they’ll order the food you need & since my senior dogs are on some pretty expensive foods, it was nice to have a spot that charged a reasonable price. unfortunately, the price went from $108 to $116, which is an absurd jump that I might have been convinced to continue paying (to support local) if dude wasn’t so cavalier about it. just because capitalism is unapologetic in its inhumanity, doesn’t mean our interactions with each other need to be! Appreciate the good years & solid convos w the other folks there. wish y’all the best!

Went here the other day with my new puppy. I like the fact that it is a family owned and operated business. It’s also conveniently close to home. They are very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. They really do love and care about animals. Oh and they have a great selection. I got the dopest little purple velvet collar and matching leash for my baby ☺️. Keep up the good work guys.

I just got a puppy and was running out of the food I was first recommended to feed him (which I wasn't sure he even liked). When I took him to the vet, they recommended a bunch of dog food brands so I called around to see who had them.I called I Love My Pet and spoke with the owner, who is extremely knowledgeable and obviously cares about providing good food to animals. On the phone, she gave me her honest opinion on the food I was recommended and pointed me in the right direction. When we went into the store, she gave us lots of options and spoke to me and my boyfriend for 20 minutes about our dog and gave us lots of helpful tips.We switched over his dog food and he has been loving it so much. We are so grateful for the help we got at I Love My Pet! Thank you!

I come to this store every once in a while because it’s not far from my house. They have a nice variety and is reasonably priced. Yesterday I purchased some food that didn’t work out for my dog and cat. I called today to explain the situation and was told to come right in so the issue can be fixed. The guy I spoke to when I got there (didn’t catch his name) was so nice about everything, was very understanding that I didn’t have my receipt, and even offered me some free lamb treats for my dog (who usually HATES lamb so that’s amazing)! I don’t write reviews often but I definitely wanted to recognize this store for their wonderful customer service. I will definitely be returning more often.

Great for small animals and guinea pigs! Before I tried this place, I’d been going to a chain store a train ride away because I thought it was the closest place that carried Oxbow brand western timothy hay and adult guinea pig food. This store carries both, at basically the same price as the big stores, and it’s only a short walk away. Open until 8, which is really convenient. Definitely my new go-to.

Would not recommend. I went to this store before to purchase items in the past but told myself to never go back …yet I still went back and remembered why I stopped going. I would say maybe she has something against ppl like “me”💅🏽 But nope she is all around ignorant. When I say “she” I mean the woman at the front counter. I don’t know if the husband who own the store is use to her disgusting attitude or is just forced to deal with it . The things that come out of her mouth is very cringe worthy. I was offended and yet so proud of myself for not getting nasty back with her . I don’t know what hard gentrification juice she is drinking but she needs to change her attitude before the right potential customer check her .

I Love My Pet is, by far, my favorite pet store in Brooklyn. They have an impressive supply of food, treats, supplies, and toys. They’ll order anything you need. Their prices beat Amazon. The staff is incredible. Really have nothing but amazing things to say. Check it out!

Very friendly family (+cats+friends) that own & run this place. Great selection for dog stuff, if they don't have something in stock they'll order it for their next supply delivery. We cannot walk our puppies past thisnplace without them dragging us inside for cuddles & treats!

Love this pet store! The first time i went i got 4 free samples of dog food from the guy at the register and i just went with my mom and got the best laugh from the lady that works there. Hospitality is key!

They carry a great selection of holistic and premium dog and cat food.It is a great go to spot to pick up a couple things for my cat.However, their selection of small animal products were lacking. I went to buy finch seed and they only had one brand, a 2lb bag priced at $17. This was incredibly over priced since most pet stores sell a variety of 2lb bird foods for $6-9. But it was an emergency so I bought it. Wouldn't go there for any small animal product

Nice shopkeep, great cats, and a good selection of pet food! I came here to get a bunch of wet food for an old cat of mine. They don't carry prescription food, but they had the regular version of the brand I was looking for. I got enough for several weeks. Thank you!

This is my go to store when I have a question about my cat. I kinda trust them more than I do a vet. They have a wide selection of pet supplies that is growing. The owners and staff are genuinely friendly. They are very patient and helpful and honest. I love them.
