Bear enjoys going to Happy Dogs daycare twice a week. The handler's do a great job at keeping the dogs safe and closely supervised. I really like that Bear is never crated during the day. The discounted prices for monthly daycare subscriptions are great as well as discounts on baths with the purchase of a monthly subscription. It's a good routine to have set daycare days for Bear with the option to have a switcheroo once per month. Being able to change a day of the week without being charged. The daycare hours are great and I like that early drop off is an option. The member website is user friendly and allows me to check Bear in and out as well as leave notes about meals, medication, or communicate anything else. I like that there is a report when I check Bear out of daycare and usually a cute picture of her enjoying her day. The member website also offers a live camera where I can check in on Bear throughout the day. I have not noticed any injuries because the handler's do a great job with redirection if there are any issues while playing, which also prevents bad behaviors from being picked up. Bear has been going to dog daycare since she was six months old and the positive socialization with other dogs and people has been great.  Another bonus is that meals are fed. Bear still eats three times a day so the handler's feed her lunch on her regular schedule. I also like the ratio of dog's/handler. It seems like there are no more than 15 dogs for two handler's making it more manageable for he handler's and dogs. I know that space in the city, especially outside space is limited, so I am hopeful in the future some type of outside time can be added for dogs who stay for full days. I feel confident leaving Bear at Happy Dogs daycare knowing she will be safe and have a fun day.

Maybe we went here on the wrong days, but tuning in to the camera to see what the dogs were doing throughout the day made us decide not to return here. Their site clearly states that they offer corrections, however, they offer connections ANY TIME two dogs interact with each other. So, in reality, there is no interaction or play allowed. We saw the staff members give poke after poke which resulted in the dogs avoiding any type of interaction which resulted in them being isolated and bored. It was a terrible vibe. We’ve since switched to another daycare with a similar set up (camera-wise) where the dogs are allowed to interact, and there’s no fighting, it’s healthier, and the dogs are much much happier.(Also the space is small and claustrophobic, search elsewhere for your pup, there are better alternatives not so far away!)

I’ve been taking my dog to Happy Dog’s for a little over 2 month and it’s been excellent. The staff is very helpful and are receptive to any requests, they let me know immediately if there are any issues and include pictures, and are also friendly and no nonsense. My dog leaves day care happy and is exhausted when he gets home. Would definitely recommend this place for not only the awesome communication, but the affordable pricing that’s very competitive amongst other dog day care’s in New York.

Our dog Oakley has been going to Happy Dogs Southside a few days a week for the past year for daycare, he absolutely loves it!! The team is very responsive, our experience has been great. We know that he’s in great hands when he’s at happy dogs and will continue sending him there to get his energy out during the week when we’re too busy with work. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a daycare place for their pup!

I've started taking my pup to Happy Dogs about 4 weeks ago, and it's been a great experience. They really have made all the processes seamless, and I enjoy getting to watch on the camera during the day! The membership plan is perfect now that I'm back to work a few days a week, and the discount for boarding is such a great critical add-on. I've already recommended to other dog owners in my building.

Happy Dogs Southside is great for my dog Duke. He gets to socialize with other dogs all day long while his Dad is at work, and he comes home happy and exhausted. The staff are great and very accommodating.

We absolutely love Happy Dogs Southside! Drop off and coordinating pick up is super easy and flexible. Throughout the day, we can tune in and see their live cam to check in on Charlie and make sure he is having fun. It is also clear that Charlie loves it there since as soon as we approach the door, he is dying to get in and hang out with his friends. A number of people in our building have their doggies at this location and everyone raves about it. It is nice that our our doggies are hanging out together and building a community together at Happy Dogs Southside. I definitely recommend you check out their location.

We are so happy with Happy Dogs Southside! They were welcoming and responsive from the beginning, which made the process seamless and enjoyable. My pup is often weary of places he does know, but from the first week you could tell he was relaxed and excited to be dropped off. I love that they have live cameras so I can check on him throughout the day (and peak at all the cute pups). I'm grateful to have found Happy Dogs + appreciate all the team there does!

The owner Len is rude and disrespectful to women. His team doesn't care about the dogs in their care, they're checked out and on instagram most of the day. I watched for a few days on their webcams as my dog was ignored. I finally went some place else after being totally frustrated with Happy Dogs, what an ironic name!I'm a long time dog owner and I used Happy dogs once in awhile when I had to go into the office, mostly because they're around the block from me. I tried all 3 Williamsburg locations. We found a nice local dog walker and will only use these guys in a real pinch. I'm leaving this review under an alias because Len is the type of person that wouldn't let us back in after sharing my thoughts.

Shay absolutely loves Happy Dogs!! Whenever we go to daycare, she runs inside! I feel extremely comfortable leaving Shay here especially since Shay loves it so much and there are cameras if I need to see her while I'm away. The only thing I wish I knew when I first signed up is Happy dogs communicates via email which was an adjustment for me however, they always respond in a timely manner. They take great care of my pup! The price is a great value too! I go here weekly.

My partner and I love Happy Dogs Southside! Our dog stays there 2-3 times a week from around 9am-6pm. He loves it and is excited each time we arrive. Everyone who works there is kind and knowledgeable; we don't have to worry when our pup is there for the day because we know he is in great hands. There is even a live cam so you can watch your dog from work....Highly recommend.

We LOVE Happy Dogs Southside. At first, our pup Ralph was hesitant to go inside, and now he pulls us in and doesn't look back! They are professional, take great care of the dogs (and tire them out) and he is just so so happy when he comes home at the end of the day.We also really love to check in/out system by phone and the ease of the platform - and the free monthly bath as a bonus with our subscription. =)Definitely would recommend this place to any dog owner in the area!

We absolutely LOVE happy dogs! Our labradoodle also loves the daycare just as much. Our dog developed serious separation anxiety during Covid times, but when we bring him to Happy Dogs, he runs right in and could care less about saying goodbye to us. 😂 the staff is friendly and the prices are really affordable. Our dog comes home at the end of the day tired and happy. We recommend joining 100%!

We've been taking our toy poodle here for a few months now. Their staff is amazing. I've really seen an improvement in my dog's anxiety around other dogs. I like that I can watch him via the webcam. The check in/check out process is easy. They've really helped when I've been in a bind and have to come late or need to board him. We truly couldn't be happier with Happy Dogs Southside. Our pup has been attending daycare here for a year and a half and she loves going. The staff is truly fantastic and are so on top of everything. We trust them so much with our pup and if you are looking for the best place for doggy daycare or to board your dog, this is the best place for it. I can't say enough good thinks about Happy Dogs Southside. Not only are they incredible with my dog, but they do a phenomenal job of service—great at communicating, adapting to last-second requests or changes in my schedule, always sharing pictures of him from when he's at daycare or boarding.Would absolutely recommend daycare, boarding, or anything with Happy Dogs! The best part of my dogs week is going to Happy Dogs!!! She has been going there a few months and it’s a great way for her to socialize and get exercise in. A few blocks away and she knows exactly where she is going, and runs all the way there! They take really good care of their dogs, and answer any of the concerns you might have. I use Happy Dogs Southside for daycare, on a weekly basis and McCarran for boarding. Both have been a great experience. The staff is communicative and friendly, with daily messages and updates on my dogs stay. Onboarding is clear and easy - making the whole experience even better. Love Happy Dogs!

Daycare is great here overall. Some big pluses: a live stream of your dog at daycare, a behavioral test before your dog is allowed entry, and the premises are sparkling clean. Handlers are always watching the dogs and cleaning up after them so I feel that my dog is very safe here. The only room for improvement would be: more dog beds for them to sleep on and maybe a separate area for dogs who would like to rest, away from all the hustle and bustle of the main area! Otherwise, love Happy Dogs!

My dog is always thrilled to go to Happy Dogs. I get it. The staff is very friendly and there are always plenty of happy dogs to play with. I truly feel like my dog is in good hands with this team. She cut herself at the park once prior to her drop-off. The team quickly alerted me when she started bleeding at daycare. They bandaged her up and took pictures alerting me to the issue. The staff is always quick to answer emails or accommodate last minute requests. I'm so thankful Happy Dogs is in my neighborhood.

Happy Dogs Southside is a true South Williamsburg gem for Dog Daycare. I was super careful when choosing where I'd send my 10 month old puppy for full day services and I'm so glad I found them!They were very thorough in making sure my dog would assimilate into their pack by having her come in for a few hours prior to me signing up for a package. The employees at the front desk are always so friendly, and I love that they have the nest cam so you can watch your little one play while you are at the office.They are also SUPER quick to respond to questions or emails and always share the cutest photos through email and also their Instagram account. I am so glad I found a daycare that I can trust and our pup Rhaella loves going so much it's the highlight of her week! Love this place so much and recommend to anyone!

These guys are just awesome. Our little guy loves going to Happy Dogs and the staff are always super friendly and you can tell they really care about every single one of the dogs here. I am also secure in the fact that they carefully monitor the dogs when they play and allow playful interaction but are right on it and don't allow things to get rough. My little pup comes home absolutely exhausted from a day at Happy Dogs, exhausted and happy :)

Its been a pleasure sending my dog to this day care. They truly care for their dogs and do thorough background checks on each dog that comes into the facility. I usually send my dog once a week and he's always thrilled to go. An added bonus is peeking in on the dogs on the camera video which always brings a smile to my face on a stressful day. The staff truly cares about each dog and genuinely seem happy to be there. The prices are more than affordable and have a different payment plans.

This place has been a huge blessing for me and my dog. The staff is super friendly and reliable and my dog absolutely loves it here. I am so grateful to have a place where I know she is safe and well taken care of and also having a blast. It's great to be able to watch her play during the day on their livestream. We also use Happy Dogs for boarding and have had nothing but positive experiences all around.
