My dog, Baxter, has very bad anxiety. When I first brought him in, he refused to go through the front door. The staff were very patient and understanding. Once he was in the reception area, they let him take his time to adjust and run around. They spoke to him softly, and when they picked him up, they were very gentle with him. Once his grooming was done and I came to pick him up, he was happily wagging his tail and smelled like mint. My cute little Baxter looked like a teddy bear. One of the staff members also gave me some good advice on how to maintain his coat since I wanted to keep it fluffy going forward. All things considered, we will definitely be coming back again.

The prices have gone up big time and they cut my dog’s nail too short and didn’t tell me about it when I picked her up and she was covered in blood by the time she got home. I specifically only asked for a wash and they cut her nails anyways which was not needed because her nails aren’t long to begin with. Obviously, because they cut them into the nerve when they tried to “trim” them. When I called to ask them about it they dodged my call multiple times then finally did call back and knew exactly why I was calling. If you injure an animal with your service, you should let the owner know and not try to get away with it. That’s just bad service. They didn’t refund or offer any compensation, just that they would wash the blood off if we brought her back, like I’d want to take her back after they hurt her and didn’t tell me. The groomer was really unapologetic. No accountability for their screw up. Don’t go here.

I booked an appointment over the phone for an available time slot and provided my card for a deposit. However, the receptionist failed to inform me at the time of booking that the deposit is non-refundable if I reschedule or cancel. Unfortunately, on the day of the appointment, I needed to reschedule. When I called to do so, I was told that I wouldn't get my deposit back for rescheduling. Despite not seeking a refund but wanting to reschedule, the receptionist rudely informed me that I would need to email the manager for a reschedule without charge and then abruptly hung up. The gimmick here is taking the card from the client without explaining the rescheduling policy upfront, only to email about the policy afterward, leaving the client locked in. In case of an emergency requiring a reschedule, the client is left without recourse, stuck with a non-refundable policy and a lost deposit that can't be applied to a future appointment.

I was recommended to this establishment by my friend who used to bring their dog here. I brought my kitten, Tiger, this morning for their first nail trim and ear cleaning. They were quick and efficient and even gave us a cute little mouse toy when we left.

Furry pawz and clawz is the best. They always listen to exactly what we want for our golden doodle Jasper. I can always get an appointment within a week and everyone is kind. My dog loves getting groomed there!

Dutch came out of his grooming appt on Friday bleeding from what I was told occurred when he “licked the scissor”...after further inspection there is no way the snip of his tongue happened this way, but more likely occurred from an accidental snip while his face hair was being trimmed. Rather than take responsibility for what occurred, I was still charged the $100 for the service and continually told in few words that it was his fault this had occurred. Ah the moment I remained calm and hoped the bleeding wouldn’t be so bad, but by midnight (8 hours after picking him up) he was still bleeding significantly—I did call our ER vet to see if I should bring him in and they said to wait until morning because the tongue is such a sensitive area they try to avoid stitching on it. During the first three hours he was home I sat on the floor with him trying to hold the towel and hold pressure to get the bleeding to stop. It should also be mentioned I’m 8 months pregnant...which made the situation that much more stressful and taxing. After hours of tending to him couldn’t stop the bleeding, we decide to let him do his own thing in the crate under supervision and this ended up with him licking himself for hours getting blood all over his coat...In frustration I emailed the owner about the situation hoping she could at least offer a refund for the $100 service that now had me on the floor caring for my dog the entire rest of the day and may end with us having to take a trip to the emergency vet...she offered to reshampoo him sometime this week but nothing more. Even after explaining the cancelled plans for the entire weekend—had to cancel dinner plans for my husband’s bday that evening and our plans to take Dutch upstate for some scenic walks/hike on Saturday.Aside from the snipped tip of the tongue, his cut was very uneven. Her response to this was he was very matted, tho I know this to be impossible because of how often we brush him. He has one mat on one if his ears, but other than that none.Still not sure why I pay $100 for this experience, but they took responsibility for nothing and I will never return. Hope others don’t make the same mistake—I had a couple good experiences here but to see how they handle issues is not good business practice or good customer service.

After many horrifying haircuts and experiences, I finally found this place. They did an amazing job and left my babe beautiful and smelling amazing. They offer extras like the blueberry facial highly recommend to clean around the eyes specially for yorkies. It was easy to set up an appointment too and the staff is very friendly, and prices are great. The video doesn’t really show how good the haircut is but you get an idea.

My first time there I found it to be very organized, and safety conscience. However, there is a non-refundable deposit when making appointments, but it is deducted from the price when appointment is kept. No prob. I love the great job they did on my yorkie! This place is awesome, my pet is well groomed and smells so good after her appointment. The staff's are extremely friendly and make sure you get exactly what you ask for your pet... I love taking my Pharahan Chihuahua mix breed to furey pawz & clawz. 👍🏽⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They do great work here. However, I did have an incident once where a young woman clipped my Yorkie’s ear while grooming him. When I’d mentioned it to her, she was extremely dismissive and unapologetic. Luckily his hair has since grown in and the clip is no longer visible, but I’m certain it was a very traumatic experience for him. They do good work, but proceed with caution.

They were very friendly and very professional. My dog has anxiety and they always made her feel safe and welcome. Her cuts always come out flawless. They are always available to see me at any time and give me an update on my pooch if I need it. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Absolutely love it! You can tell they love what they do and that they do have love for the pets.

They do a good job grooming my grandmother’s dog, but their deposit policy is pretty ridiculous. There have been a couple of situations that for sure should have warranted an alteration of their policy, but they wouldn’t budge for anything like it was a straight up law or something. Last year, I was in quarantine after coming in contact with 5 people who had tested positive for Covid, & my dog’s appointment was within the two week timeframe. When I tried to reschedule it, they requested another deposit in line with their policy, which I found to be solidly insensitive given the extenuating nature of my circumstances.Because of that, I have stopped using them for my own dog, but they’ve been the only groomers who’ve been able to handle my grandmother’s dog who tends to bite, so we still use them. Most recently, they had to send my grandmother’s dog back, because he was unmanageable. We had forgotten to properly administer his calming medicine, so he was more alert than usual. When I asked if I could either get the deposit back or transfer it to another day so that we could try again, they refused. A waste of $30. Will be looking for another groomer.

This is the 3rd time I have been here in 2 years and each time, something has gone awry. I came in Oct. 2020 and the groomer got soap or product in my dog's eye. She, the owner, was very dismissive and claimed she didn't do it. I had to flush the dogs eye out for hours afterwards. She wasn't able to open one eye but eventually did hours later. I decided not to come back. I decided to returned to the groomer in April of 2022. That time they broke the retractable leash and claimed they weren't responsible, but It was working fine when I left it. The grooming itself was good so I returned for my last time yesterday. I dropped my dog.off and they asked how I wanted her cut. I said as short as possible. They called me literally 5 mins after I dropped her off and asked me again how I wanted her groomed. I repeated short as possible. I pick her up and noticed that her head was botched. Not only was the hair not short it was uneven. I brought her back this morning and the manager had an attitude with me and was like some people like the more fur on the top, I said but I told yall twice to do it short as possible and i explained to her the past incidents, mind you she is the one I dealt with the other two times, she was like why did you come back she was just really rude. Then said maybe there was miscommunication between the front and the groomer, smh.They did fix the cut, but the attitude and the inconvenience I will not be back.

We recently moved to the neighborhood and we were looking for a new groomer and so happy we found this place. Our pup Vido is now a regular. Vido is always received with love, attention is paid to his grooming and the team always calls before making any decisions outside of what was communicated to them. Highly recommended for skill set, patience, friendliness, patience and cost.

Brought my doggie there to get his haircut and he looked super cute and smelled really good when we saw him. He also got his little teeth brushed. The staff is very professional and sweet. From the moment you enter the establishment the smell is soooooo good, a really sweet scent in the air, I need to find out what it is. They even give you a little bag of treats to take home with them. I will definitely be bringing my puppy here going forward God willing.

I just had my dog Finn get a grooming at Furry Pawz and Claws and Andrea and Vanessa were wonderful! They were both welcoming and the grooming was awesome! I've been taking my dog Bodhi to get a wash and nail trim from Furry Pawz & Claws for over a year now and they really indulge him in an amazing spa day! He struts around all confident and happy after his bath, smells like heaven and feels so soft and beautiful. These guys have been such a great addition to the neighborhood. Friendly, Accommodating, good prices, fantastic communication, and our pups are not afraid to go here!We have had three dogs go here, and we have been so happy. We also use them for dog walks, and Furry Pawz has been nothing short of excellent!!

friendly professional staff who takes good care of my chihuahua pup for her monthly nail trim n teeth cleaning. she has a curled nail on her back paw that is tricky to cut but they always do a great job with it. thanks for all that you do!

Wish I could give zero stars. This place butchered my dog. Uneven cutting and patchy. Took him back to have him fixed. They ran the clippers over him and acted like they did me a favor. I indicated that the cut is still a mess and at this point my dog required shaving all the way down to even out the cut they gave him. The lady that works there refused to do it, saying that it would be a different cut. How would it be a different cut if it is fixing the horrible cut they gave my dog. I’m so angry I could scream. Absolutely horrible. I really wanted to patronize a neighborhood spot but I will no longer bring my dog here nor can I in good conscience recommend this place. Horrible!

Our newly adopted stray pup was very nervous and they were lovely with him and he looks so great after his visit. Definitely going back for all our grooming needs in the future!
