My review is just about GROOMING, not the shop!!!If you have Pomeranian, then never go to this place to groom your pet! They just have no idea how to do Pomeranian grooming! (I don't know about other breeds).Awful! Awful! Awful!My pom always had long beautiful fur. We asked for shortening just a little bit (JUST A LITTLE BIT) husband even showed on the dog as well, but the result terrified! The hair is almost to the skin, even the haircut is not even. Some parts are long, some are short! We paid $80 for destroying my beautiful pet's fur!

I love this pet store. The owner is an awesome woman, very friendly, helpful and kind hearted.Always delivers in her promises and has better prices than chewy and amazon, if not then the same but never higher.Would highly recommend buying from this store.

Overpriced and extremely rude. My friend brings her dog here regularly for grooming and several occasional he came back throwing up. She is strangling the dogs while trimming their hair. All her items are bought off Amazon and she hikes the price up to stay in business because well she has none. Don’t go here save your dog.

Fluffy Paws is the BEST. It’s a family-run business and everyone is so sweet, caring, and helpful. Great prices, amazing selection, always getting something new, always happy to order your favorites for you, and they have a fabulous groomer for dogs and cats. Be sure to say “hi” to Simba while you’re there! He’ll either be greeting you at the door or sitting on a chair next to Teresa - a cat that’s truly king of this castle. Be careful if you plan to pay with a credit card at this store! They will charge you extra "because of machine ". It's not a huge amount of money, but they tell you about it after the transaction and it looks like some kind of scam.

I wouldn’t even give a star at this point. My two yorkie Westie pups went to Fluffy Paws for grooming services this past weekend. One of my pups left that place in respiratory distress. He was a totally different dog from when I dropped him off…I watched my dog for a couple hours struggling to breathe, which at the time I thought was just his anxiety. He is an anxious dog. I was hoping he would get better. He didn’t. We rushed him to the emergency vet, where they immediately put him in an oxygen chamber. The vet told me he has pulmonary edema (fluid in his lungs), which can happened due to strangulation. According to the vet, my dog was being choked by the leash used at fluffy paws. Didn’t the groomer notice my dog was in distress while he was grooming him. Not only is my dog currently fighting for his life and will be in the oxygen chamber for the next few days. I am stuck with an enormous vet bill… I will never support their business again. I never thought a grooming visit would end like this… they should remove that groomer immediately.

I love this store! The family who owns it is very nice and have come to know my Yorkie so well. They always recommend new yummy treats to us when I feel like changing things up (they know my little guy will only eat soft chew treats). When I go in there with him they treat us like family and always seem genuinely happy to see us. Their prices are right, the selection is huge, and if for some reason they don’t have what you’re looking for they’ll order it for you anyway! You really can’t go wrong with this store or with their other location on 76th Street and 5th Avenue.

Shops like this are what make New York so special. I’ve gotten to know the woman who owns this shop and she is just wonderful. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. They make you feel like family! ❤️

I have been shopping here for the past year or so and I could not be happier. This is a GREAT store and the woman who owns the shop could not be friendlier or more helpful. This store has everything I need for my 2 elderly indoor cats and 6 feral cats that I feed. She has a full stock of Wellness, Weruva, bff, Tikicat and more. This huge selection is important for me because my indoor cats are older and fussy eaters. I can try different foods for them to eat without having to buy a case. She also has a full selection of cat treats, toys, litters etc. Her selection for dogs is also large and I have been there when she has spent the time to put a sweater on an owner's dog to make sure it fits and that the customer is able to do it easily. I was there yesterday and was impressed with the selection of pet presents. This store is a treasure and one of the many reasons I love living in Brooklyn.

I would love to check this place out. Such great ratings. But it's 8:10pm and they're already closed. Closing time for today is listed here as 9pm. This was inconvenient and I was really counting on being able to get some stuff for my cats.

This grooming salon does not deserve to care of any dogs! This grooming salon should be shut down . This salon doesn’t care for the dogs it almost cost my friends dog his life. Please check reviews before taken your dog to any grooming salon . Dogs can not tell you what’s going but you can do the research and see. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO FLUFFY PAWS ! Wouldn’t even give one star .

Don’t take your dog here for their grooming services I’ve given this place so many chances but the groomer here completely goes against my specifications and completely shaved down my fur baby. I know what you’re thinking, “your dog was matted”, the answer is NO. I brush my dog’s hair with a comb every night from head to tail. I use a metal comb and rake every night she never gets matted or knots in her hair. I told him to not go too short and showed him many pictures as reference and I asked various times if he understood to not go too short and he reassured me that he did. When I came back my baby was shaved completely and you can see her skin! It’s cheap yes but not worth it, I will be taking her some place else and I suggest that you do the same.

The people in this store couldn’t be nicer & the groomer did a really good job on my cat who was badly matted...I would definitely recommend 💙
