Love this place!! They have everything for your posh and the cakes and treats are for pretty!! My puppy had her 1st birthday and she loved everything, the cupcakes, and pizza pastries were her favorite!!

Was a lil upset that they didn't have the pink cake for my daughter's dog. I even called to make sure in advance before making the trip there. Ended up getting a yellow one and a brown one for my pup. They liked though. 👍👍

My pup just turned one and I was looking where I could buy a small cake for him. He's like 8lbs so I didn't wanna buy a big cake since he probably won't be eating it all. Saw so good reviews so I went, and bought the cutest lil cake for him. It smells amazing and not full of crazy chemicals or byproducts. Totally recommend!!

Let me start saying that this store is great. I have purchased cake and treats for my puppy on the past . First time walking in was a great experience and I got great costumer service and I was amazed by the cute cookies and cakes they had . I recently went to the store to purchase a cake that I saw in the website that they had available for pick up and delivery in the description And for the moment I step in I didn’t see nobody until I said hi to a guy distracted by the phone and music at the end of the store . I ask for the cakes and he told to go to the fridge and see the cupcakes and cakes available and the ones in the bottom are sold already . I ask for help and maybe he could check and make sure since I come from queens to see if they had the cakes that online said they had . He responded to a big no and that’s all they had. Shorty story I’m disappointed it’s better to buy online . And now I see they changed the description on the cakes that’s good I wish they restock soon their bakery treats and cakes . And hope to have a different experience soon :)

I ordered delivery from here yesterday and could not be happier! I wanted to get my puppy a few specialty treats. I ordered a squirrel cookie, a peanut butter cup, and some chicken biscuits. Adorable and my pup LOVES them! They also sent a super cute reusable bag which I very much appreciated. Oh and they sent a few great samples. Can’t wait to order again!

Love this place. They carry a great variety of healthy and natural dog food and treats including birthday cakes in addition to clothing, toys, leashes, and other items. I buy cupcakes here for my dog's birthday as well as other treats (and birthday hats). I even got doggy beer for his 3rd ("21st") birthday. Prices are great for treats at this boutique and I always make an effort to stop by when I'm in the area (feel free to also bring your pup, there's a dog park right across the street)! Also join their membership points program when you purchase! Very friendly and helpful staff as well.

My fur baby loved the cake. Cake was very fresh, soft and tasty for them. Couldn’t get my dogs from licking the cake while celebrating day. I would definitely order from here again and will recommend this place to anyone looking for a bday cake

Love this spot for my dog and cat food needs. Staff is super helpful. Only thing is I have a larger dog, so not as many accessories for him. I get it though, most people tend to have smaller dogs in apartments

A great neighborhood pet store in Greenpoint. Cute store, great selection of quality pet food and litter. I wish there was more for cats aside from the great food collection - there's some cardboard scratching posts, some cute collars, litter boxes, a small selection of toys. But hey, it's District Dog, after all, not District Cat! It's a great addition to the neighborhood. The staff is always friendly and helpful when I ask for recommendations, and they were nice enough to display flyers for neighborhood cats that I had rescued. Really nice people who care a lot about pets and also operate a rescue for area dogs and cats.

For my dog's Sweet 16, I wanted to get her a special cake. Over the weekend, I researched Brooklyn places that sold organic cakes & treats.They only offer the birthday cakes in one flavor & one size. It's made with peanut butter & carrot- two of my dog's favorite foods. In fact, she has fresh carrots with her dry food almost daily. I figured this would be a no-brainer. The Classic 4" cake will set you back about $25; according to the shopkeeper, this will feed about ten dogs. The Designer cake that's 'pre-customized' with a design of either a squirrel, monkey, or princess motif, will be pricier, ~$32.She huffed and puffed, blew out her candle, and made a fluffy wish(OK, maybe we blew it for her). I proceeded to slice up the cake into smaller pieces since she's an old grandma. The cake was moist and seemed fresh based on the texture. I plopped it down hoping that she'd feast like a beast.And.. she hates the cake. She doesn't like the scent nor taste. After some time, I plopped a piece of the yogurt layer into her mouth and she spit it out. Typically, this would have done the trick as she loves the yogurt parts of all the cakes/cupcakes I have purchased at other places. It has been several days now and she still refuses to touch it.NOT ONE BIT. Dropped the mic & walked away in true Diva fashion.Though most dogs may devour these cakes, yours could possibly be the one that doesn't like it. And the price is not considered cheap. I applaud them on their efforts to provide organic products, but if my dog won't touch it, it doesn't mean anything to me.

I was excited coming to this place for the first time with my daughter for our Fur babys' birthday. Not until upon arrival a staff member or owner greeted me by cracking the door open and asking me what i needed. I could see that the store was empty and was confused because on the website it showed in-store shopping, also i didnt bring my dog with me. I proceeded to tell the guy specifically what i was looking for and needed, he then closed the door took my card and came out with my things. I understand that Covid has everyone on edge but he was very rude to ME. The reason i emphasized ME is because another customer came by afterwards and was let into the store with their dog. This person lacks customer service skills, I WILL NOT RETURN HERE EVER AGAIN.
