I used to be a huge fan of Daiso, but I find it getting more and more expensive, being able find many things online for cheaper. It’s still an amazing store, it’s fun to kill time. Some items can cost the same, but clearly have different value like a pen, pack of batteries and a cleaning brush may cost the same, for example.Obviously, the items cost twice of the yen value. Also be aware: many food items are more expensive comparing to the sunrise mart downstairs.

Great place for gifts!!! Can't be beat for the value. If you do find something you like, buy it, since they change inventory all the time. Also they have bathrooms and little tables nearby so you can eat your snacks in comfort!

It’s like a Japanese dollar store where most items are under $2 each. You can get items to organize your kitchen, beauty items, stationery etc. I loved the mesh bags I was able to find for storing makeup or toiletries. I was able to find a bunch of stuff for food prep and cleaning.

DAISO has EVERYTHING you need and more. I've never been to Japan but at some point, I plan to visit and I swear coming into this store, gives me such an awesome vibe. I only hope it's just like going there! All kinds of goodies, it's almost unbelievable. I mean, they sell socks, drinks, stickers, bags, make up, lol where else is better than here??! One of my favorite stores ever, wouldn't trade it for the world.

I like it they have different things for everyone. I mainly look at the toys, writing supplies, and snacks for my kids. There's self check out available and a sitting area right outside in front. Another cool thing is that it's close to the claw machines and book off at the exit side.

A little hard to find, but a nice store overall! Daiso is on the second floor and it's a bit of a walk from the ground floor of Japan Village. If you take the elevators up, you have to walk past the Book Off stalls. It's faster if you walk to Sahadi's Market first and take the stairs, but I don't think there are elevators there. The registers are on the far side only (away from 3rd Ave) and there are two self checkout counters. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Making it a habit to come Sunday evenings with the family. The quality of food is better than most Japanese restaurants in this area. They have a young, friendly and attentive staff (on Sundays, can vouch for other days). Nothing but good experiences. Keep in mind, I am just a simple man that's likes ramen and sake.

Like a small department store with a discounted price. They carry so many products like baby products, snacks, stationery, kitchen products etc. Daiso is located on the second floor, entering 35th Street, the same building as Japan Village.

So many fun and unique items at Daiso. A great diversion in the Industry City complex.

No return or exchange? If that’s the company’s policy customers should be informed of that policy before purchasing the product not after.

If you are a Kawaii lover, this place is for you. The only downside is that they follow you around everywhere like you are going to steal something. They just happen to continue to walk by every aisle you are. If you can get past that, then you will be in the store for at least an hour just looking at all the stationary, unique food items you can't get in other states.

Always hear about the hype about it on TikTok. Soooo worth it! Yes, it's a dollar store essentially, but you'll never know what you're gonna find! Especially if you're looking for cute imported goods. The only issue is that it can be a bit difficult to find. It's on the second floor! Music that was playing was top notch, too.

Went to Daiso Japan Village with a friend, and found a great variety of affordable home goods. The quality might not be long lasting, but the sheer variety and affordability more than makes up for it. Definitely worth a visit.

Is a cool place, kinda far from the other stores and restaurants. Extremely small and lacks variety but staff is friendly. One big thing I didn’t like is the lack of price tags (beside the snack section). Basically you either have to bug one of CS working around or when you go to the counter, you’ll regret paying $3 for a small bag of Japanese chips (like I did).

I went on Saturday, 2/26. The place is great with plenty of options for household goods, candy, and other miscellaneous items. Keep in mind, I went on opening day, so the lines were long, but the workers are great and quick. I'm sure if I went today, there would be a shorter line. Nonetheless, a great place for small household items and other goods.

The store is located on the second floor. It has a lot of cute things. I picked up some Disney and Rilakkuma stationary. Some of the food prices were a bit much, you can find the same items for a better price elsewhere. They have a great kitchen items and dishware.

It took less then 30 seconds before and after I bought somethings, and i haven't stepped out of the store yet! It is impossible to make up for a replacement when you see a more expensive Eco bag ! i don't mind i pay more with different bag and Casher have a bad attitude too, I belive that i will not go there anymore , and i suggest all my friends not to go too

Daiso Japan village is really clean, their products are very affordable and very nice too, fro. Housewares, they also have stationary products and a few japanese snacks, which are pretty affordable too. Some of them starts from $1.99.

Lots of unique items available at this store in Industry City. Browsing can lead to a number of unexpected purchases. There is something for everyone here.

A little small and tight. A stroller would be tight in there. But does it's job as a Japan dollar shop. Nothing beats the size of the stores in Cali.

Having visited this chain's expansive stores in East Asia, we were a little disappointed with the relatively limited selection and small floor space, though prices were fairer than we expected. We visited on a weekend and the place was packed. Most shoppers are masked.

Space is tight from isles. Flushing daiso has more stuffs and more space to move around.

Very small store compared to the one in Queens, Rego Park. Staff was unfriendly when I said I was ready to check out since there was nobody at the registers and I didn't see there was a self check out. Come on, really? Wow

The first time you come here, finding this place will be awkward. Once you find it you’ll know where it is and go straight to it. My tip is to take the stairs and not the elevator. They have most of the things you would want to go to Daiso for. Everything is straight from Daiso Japan. If you live near the other Daiso shops, this slightly sparser store is not worth the trek but it serves the Brooklyn population well enough.
