Horrific customer service. My dog has very curly hair and I understand it needed to be cut short- they nearly shaved her bald in winter! On top of being rude and condescending , doing a worse job than any other groomer we have ever taken her to they charged us with two surprise fees! An extra $20 for dematting which I could accept if we had been told but hilariously they charged to clip her nails when they were literally cut at her vet appointment two days ago and didn’t need to be done. This place is an absolute scam.

I have been coming here for almost 2 years and have had the best experience with my large german shepherd / golden retriever mix.Jessica and Gabriel are great with my dog. I usually come by during the work day with barely any notice because my schedule is hectic and they do their best to accommodate me.In terms of timing and communication, I really like how they give me a 15 minute heads up before my dog is ready. If I am busy and not available on time, they have been accommodating for that too.My dog has the biggest smile on her face when she's fresh and clean afterwards!

Honestly, went for the first time and it was easy, the staff was friendly, and my pug came back with a pep in her step! First time visit and making this our new go-to pet wash in the neighborhood!

We brought our pup here many times.. each time we got a different haircut when we always asked for the same thing. Half the time his haircuts were so uneven it looked like they changed clipper sizes mid shave. They would miss spots.. but nothing that we couldn’t fix at home. Granted we paid - it should’ve been done correctly. However I will no longer be taking him back when he came home this time with multiple cuts on his private areas and razor burn all under. He is now licking it excessively and the poor guy is clearly in pain. I don’t want to talk bad about a business but after going there 15+ times minus his funny looking haircuts each time.. this time was enough.

Arrived with my dog and was told I didn’t have an appointment. Once I clarified I did indeed had one I was able to leave him. I was told 3 hours. Then I was told 1 more hour. Then I was made to wait 30 min with no update. The owner forgot to notify me. Which I understand. But what I didn’t understand was why my dog was left in the lobby unattended I was told there wasn’t enough “cages”. Which seems like a problem on their end. And no excuse to leave a dog hooked up in the lobby. Anyone could’ve just walked in and taken him. This was the second time we’ve had a mediocre experience at this place. They groom pretty well but at what cost? Our dog came back kind of timid and he’s super outgoing. Not going back. Avoid. I’d rather pay more than to deal with unprofessional service.

We have been fans of BFF pet wash prior to this appointment and had exclusively used the self wash station. We decided to get a full grooming for our doodle and the experience was negative. The groomer was an hour late to the appointment without apology and though she was friendly the whole experience was unprofessional. It cost more than was advertised online and my dog’s hair is insanely short. He looks like an alien. Still love him but do not recommend.

Booked for a groom w/haircut and told it would be 2 hours. Picked her up 3 hours later and all they did was a blowout without the cut which made her look ridiculous. We didn't get charged the 15 extra dollars but that was THE primary reason we were doing it and it's baseline expensive. Sure would have been nice if they told us before we got there.She also had a small abrasion on one of her legs which was super obvious but they didn't feel the need to mention what happened.We paid for the "deshedder" treatment and when I pet her INSTORE, literally globs of hair were still coming off.For only a measly 70 bucks, all this could be yours!

Five stars for the grooming service. However something is going on with their booking system lately. So confirm your appointments if possible. I booked my appointment online and got a confirmation email, but was told by the Groomer the day of my appointment that they could not do cats when I arrived. Went back two days later on the day that was rebooked, and the Groomer who Could do cats, could not find the appointment, but was nice enough to do the service. Appointments should be confirmed the day before by a business and messages left returned.

Body was fine but the groomer completely ignored my request to keep his face longer and cut it as short as possible around his snout. Now head and body are completely disproportionately cut.

I LOVE bff pet wash. Can’t say enough good things about this place. My tiny dog goes for nailtrims and grooming and everyone is SO NICE to him. He’s a tiny rescue dog and is really sensitive and needy, and Viyonnie takes such thoughtful care of him, it means so much to see our dog treated with such care, attention, and patience. If you’re not local this place is definitely worth the trip! Your pup will thank you :)

I have truly never been so confused by an experience in my life. I called ahead to make sure I’d be able to use the self-wash tub for my dog, and she confirmed I could come at 6:30. Showed up on the dot and no one was there. Called the store and she says she is going to have “someone in the building let me in.” 5 minutes later, a woman with NO MASK lets us in and loiters in the store...still without a mask. When we were finally done with the wash she was nowhere to be found when we tried to pay. We called and called, no answer. So she finally flagged us down when we walked out so we could pay!!! What on earth. Also, it was super dirty and the shampoos are low quality and gave me a rash. Never again.

My dog, Molly, is a rescue and very shy and fearful. Previous attempts at grooming at three different places didn't go well. The young lady groomers at BFF were patient and understanding and were able to bathe and trim Molly. She came out wagging her tail and looking great. I was so grateful and highly recommend BFF.

So glad to have this place in the neighborhood! My dog is 13 and doesn't like being bathed by even the kindest of groomers. She won't be bribed with treats and always leaves a groomer shaking and anxious for days after. When I take her to BFF, she's calm and relaxed because I never leave her side. And not having to clean loads of black fur out of my tub is a HUGE bonus!

Had an amazing EXPERIENCE today with Anna! I searched all over brooklyn for a pet wash that accepted cats and found BFF. Im so glad I did and we can't wait to come back such a friendly vibe!!

I loved this place for the self service pet wash but the price went from $18 to $30! I know this is Williamsburg but who would pay $30 to wash their own pet? So sad that I won’t be coming back here until the pricing makes more sense.

Amazing place with an amazing staff! I own a 130 lbs dog that hates baths. Usually I would have to wrestle him in to the bathtub then spend the next 3 hours cleaning my apartment. BFF has huge tubs that allow my dog to simply walk in and you get to leave the mess behind. They also have better prices on high end dog food then other places in the neighborhood. Glad to have this business in Greenpoint! Will definitely be a repeat customer!

Extremely uneven haircut, long pieces next to short ones. His nails were so sharp afterwards I got a huge cut down my leg when he jumped to say hi. He has a growth, I pointed out beforehand to be careful. She ended up injuring it.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE! We picked up our poor pup and she wouldnt open her eyes (turns out shes not the first pup here to have chemical burn in her eyes) and we also found NUMEROUS cuts all over her tummy and a big cut on the back of her neck. They tried to tell us the cuts on her tummy were "there before". DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR PET

Changed my booking the day before without any other option. Cut my dog too short and almost gave me the wrong dog when I went to pick her up. They also don’t ask for the vaccine information like all other groomers are required. Only takes cash.

I would leave a zero if I could. First of all. These “groomers” are NOT groomers. They butchered the most basic Lion cut like really. Then the owner disputes not only the price but the cut. Girl. THEN MY HOMIE HAD HIS DOG GET CHEMICAL BURNS ON HER EYES. AVOID THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE
