Walked by this place the last Friday and decided to pop in. There was no one in the store and the cashier (white) didn't even greet/acknowledge my existence. He was busy chatting with his (white) friend.I perused around the shop for about three minutes.. not sure if it was because I was a POC or if he's just awful at his job, but I walked in ready to spend money and promptly walked out after being COMPLETELY ignored.It's just another overpriced, gentrified shop that seems to do it's best to be unapproachable to Black/Brown folks that have lived in the neighborhood for ages.Also, the cat room looked incredibly drab.

Wonderful neighborhood pet store where I get food and toys for my cats. I like that they’re open until 8 pm. It’s a friendly place! Also love their kitty adoption center and the work they do with homeless cats

Love this neighborhood spot. Adoption was smooth and helpful. The whole team provided so much information about our cats before we brought them home so we could prepare. Prices in store are reasonable and everything is well stocked. A weekly visit for us!

Love this place! Bronwyn helped me pick out some fun, stimulating chew toys for my mischievous cat. Within one minute of the toys being out of the packaging, she was already playing with them.I’d say we’re both happy!

Have had a lot of great experiences here. I recently bought a very well-received gift for a friend’s pup (rope alligator). And in the past I received helpful advice of how to find cat food that my very finicky kitty might enjoy (he settled on weruva pouches). Overall, seems like a winner of a store for both dog and cats!

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff! The only pet store I’ve been to that offers in person support for pet issues. Plus all sales support the cat rescue charity hosted at the back of the store.

Great people with a cat "Cafe" to meet adoptable cats. Good Home Pet Adoptions which runs the cat rescue is a well run organization that takes good care of the cats and people who help them.

I purchased an easy walker harness for my puppy. The woman who checked me out suggested I receive a printed copy of my receipt just incase size was incorrect I could return the item. I agreed and thanked her for the tip. 3weeks later I was in the neighborhood again because my dog had a vet appointment (next door) I made sure to bring the harness and receipt with me . (It didn’t fit my puppy) I was turned away because there is a two week return policy. I was never told anything about this policy from the employee who helped me. It’s not printed on the receipt, store or even online. I emailed them online through the stores website and never heard back. Now I’m out $35 and have a brand new unused item that is the wrong size. They couldn’t even offer me store credit. Overall bad experience.

I went into this cute store with the intent to get something nice for my cat. The store is quite small and I walked in with the bleach blonde lady sitting at the desk and just us in the store. She did not greet me, ask if I needed help or even acknowledge at all my being there. It was awkward and extremely rude as I would’ve loved to ask about products and support their business. If it not for this cold, rude woman I would have bought things for my pet and enjoyed my experience. I will spend my money on a business elsewhere solely due to the poorest of customer service. I would expect more from a small business or any business at all. Will never buy from them.

Prices are super good! Trusty store to get our kitty some goodies. We love getting the wheatgrass and silvervine. Even though you may never meet our kitty, he thinks you with the upmost satisfaction.

Such a cute shop. It’s fully stocked with all the stuff my kitties love. A cat adoption room is in the works. It just doesn’t get any better than a local business who helps get animals furever homes too.

Not a huge selection as it's a smaller shop but what they have is great stuff and incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Helped me pick out the necessary things for a new dog and even gave me a complimentary can of wet food as a congratulations on getting a dog! Will definitely be coming back here
