Smaller then the other Animal Pantry I have purchased from in the past but yet you still get that great friendly service you receive from this chain of business. They have good prices on brand names product.Now that the Cross Bay Blvd location is still closed due to construction work. It's more convenient for me to come here because I live in Brooklyn, then having to go to Babylon in Suffolk County. My only reason for not giving them a 5 star rating is due to, they don't offer the same benefit of the other locations. For every 12 bags of pet food purchased, you get the next bag free. This is a very good benefit to loose.

I really like this place. It's close to home & convenient. They have a very large selection of pet food & supplies. The owners are welcoming, the son is nice, & love to see the cats just hanging around. 10/10, they have what I need. :)

I went to the store and in my hast left my backpack on the counter. The owner held my backpack for me behind the counter. He would not take a reward. I have been going to this store for at least 20 years. The prices are very reasonable and the staff very helpful. I would give them 10 stars! We need more people like this. I am so thankful. Flo K.

This is your typical local, mom and pop owned pet supply store with a good variety of food and toys available for dogs, cats, birds and other animals. We stop by here to buy dry food for our cats and the boss lady is always friendly, honest and does not oversell. She and her two kitties are ready to lend a paw if/when you need it and it's just nice to support a small local business that's serving the community.

Nice staff, very good prices, especially for a small neighborhood pet store. Large selection of brands, grain free and otherwise.Very glad I found this place, they carry BFF which my cats love and in all flavors for a very decent price.Also the store cat is a great lazy bum of a welcome sign.

My preferred place to shop local! Staff are lovely, they have a large stock of brands with variety, and prices are reasonable. Any time I've bought cases of cat food in a pinch from somewhere else locally I've spent nearly double what I spend here. Sometimes the store can feel a bit cramped or be a bit messy, but it's usually bc they have so much stock and not enough room! Plus if you need any help for any reason the staff are really attentive.

I usually call to see if the product is in stock. Staff is always friendly and courteous. They leave the food out for me the in front you pick up. I prefer to shop local and this is the store!

Just went to this store for the first time yesterday and it was a great experience! The staff are extremely helpful and very willing to help! I was told that if there is a food I'd like that is not in the store, they can try to get it for me. It is one of the most comprehensive selections of wet cat food I've ever seen in a store.

Absolutely the best pet store in the neighborhood. I was in shock over the low prices and when I had told the man in the store that the other local pet store charged double what they charged he just thanked me for the business instead of bad mouthing his competition. Animal pantry is a great model for small business and you can't beat the prices. As for a previous review stating that they showed up and the door was locked and they were closing up. I do sympathize with you but on the other hand , the sign does say 4pm not 4:01 or 4:02 pm. Retail workers have things to do also. 😮
