The location is great. You can access Bronxville at your doorstep. Many great restaurants and shops- all within walking distance. The train to go into the city or north is just right outside of the building. My apartment is updated, I love the big fridge, and it has a spaciously laid out floor plan for the size. The building itself is well groomed and maintained, the lobby and community spaces are always clean and smell nice.Mario and Luis make an efficient maintenance team. Not only are they friendly every time I run into them, but they also are quick to solve any request. They keep my patio clean from leaves too, which is so appreciated.Many apartment complexes I’ve lived at had no sense of community but The Village at Bronxville has a wonderful community. Everyone is so friendly and will go out of their way to ask how your day is when you are passing through. Cindy, Lexi, Mario and Luis make all the difference. They go above and beyond to make this complex feel like a home. Plus, my dog loves it here! He looks forward to getting treats and pets from the team when we see them.

I’ve lived here for about a year and a half. Mario is great — all issues are tended to quickly and efficiently and he really gets to know the residents and community. The apartments are large and in a great location, particularly if you commute to the city. Highly recommend!

Great apartments. Well-maintained, quiet building, 35-45 minute train ride to the city, extremely safe and walkable (car optional) neighborhood, lovely little park across the street. Many families and dogs in the building, but the walls are thick and noise isn't a problem. No major issues: no bugs, no rats, no flooding, the elevators work, all appliances in good working order (including in-unit laundry and central air). It's a great place to live, especially considering the other options this distance from the city.We lived here for about two years and left due to relocation. We would definitely return if we had to come back to the NYC metro area.Other things to note:The building is up a steep hill from the Bronx River, so last year's flooding didn't affect the building at all. There's also a beautiful linear park along the river that runs from Bronxville up to Valhalla. The building is on a tree-lined street in the downtown village area, and all the essentials are in easy walking distance, including the train station right across the street. You could definitely get by here without a car.The building is currently managed by Greystar, so expect top of market rents, tacked on fees, front office turnover, and somewhat painful rent renewal increases. With that warning note out of the way, Cindy is the current manager, and she's been friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any concerns. Mario heads up maintenance, he's a good guy and does consistently excellent work. He's the only employee who has been here for the entire two years we were here.Downsides are minor: square footage seems a little bit inflated, there is a utility closet shown on the floor plan that's locked and inaccessible, internet (we had Optimum, some parts of the building have Verizon) can occasionally be spotty after a major rainstorm. Bronxville has very limited overnight parking, so if you have a car, you're basically stuck paying for garage parking.Overall, we had a great experience here.

I was a resident for six months. To begin, the service supervisor, Mario, is great! He fixed any issue with the utmost professionalism, and with a quick response. My kids loved playing in the courtyard after school. All of the staff are friendly. Highly recommend!

I have been a resident of the Village for a few years now. The property is always clean, upkept and safe. The staff is all friendly. In particular, Cindy, Lexi and Mario are superb. They make this community a wonderful place to live.

Location, Team, and Space. We love living in Bronxville and the building is the perfect location to take in all the village offers. Having the train station across the street makes getting to the city or northern areas in minutes a huge bonus. The team is always super friendly and quick to help. Having plenty of space with a front door and patio is like having your own small townhouse feel. Most importantly our pup loves his view and quick walks out our private door.

There’s too many things to list as to why this management company is completely and totally inept, so all I’ll say is: keep reminding yourself of how much you love Bronxville, because in dealing with Greystar, you’re going to need that reminder. Best of luck to anyone moving into this building.PS- we moved out 5 weeks ago and we are still waiting for our security deposit back.UPDATE: it's been 6 weeks since the promise of a gift card, and we still have yet to receive it (I wish I could say I was surprised). Be wary potential residents, be wary.

We have lived in the Bronxville Avalon for the past year and a half and we absolutely love it. Our apartment is spacious and well maintained, and the proximity to the town and to metro north (and GCT) just can’t be beat. The building is in excellent condition and all community spaces are kept fresh and clean.But the best part of Avalon Bronxville is the staff. Our community manager Patrick is beyond helpful- he is super responsive and ready to assist with anything we need. Not to mention he is incredibly friendly- he is so warm with us and never stops asking what more he can do to help us out. Bob, who manages the front desk and has done so for 20 years, is a true Avalon fixture. He is always ready with a welcome chat, a treat for our dog and cookie for our son. The maintenance staff is a dream- anytime we put in a request they respond right away. They are friendly, quick and talented, and great with our yappy little dog.We love living in the Bronxville Avalon. While our apartment is home base, our toddler definitely views the entire building as his home. He always asks to go for walks down the hall to bring out the trash or recyclables, to retrieve the mail or a package, and to visit with Patrick and Bob. We are so grateful to live in this wonderful community!

Everyone who works at the Avalon has been wonderful and makes living here feel like heaven! Patrick Annunziata, the sales & service supervisor, is extremely kind and attentive and does everything he can to make sure the building is operating perfectly and everyone who lives here is happy. Victor, who is the wonderful & kind head custodian, keeps the building pristine, organized and in great condition. Bob, the concierge has been very attentive and always willing to help. Kathleen the other concierge is also a joy to see because she is so warm and attentive as well. The maintenance crew is superb. The facilities and our apartment are always in perfect condition which makes life a lot easier! Manny and David are always ready to quickly fix any issue that comes up. It is amazing to have such an awesome and capable group of people running a building like this. We have lived in several other apartment buildings and it is the team of people that work here that makes this truly a 5 star luxury experience.

Although only for a short rental as we are new in town, we have been comfortable and very. well looked after at Avalon Bronxville. Patrick has been attentive to our needs as a family and provides a practical, friendly and efficient level of management that has been really appreciated. His right hand man - the evergreen Bob - is a fantastic guy and goes the extra mile for us and our kids. All in all they’re a great team as part of a convenient and enjoyable community of apartments. The Avalon Bronxville is a well-managed, well-maintained and courteous place to live with great management and staff! The manager of the apartment buildings, Patrick, responds to issues with care and with an interest in problem-solving. Also, the Avalon's two concierges, Robert and Kathleen, are friendly and helpful making the place inviting.

I stayed at the Avalon (Bronxville) for approximately 6 months. The Property Managers Mark Morales and Sefa Leston were just wonderful!They were always warm and professional. They responded to my inquiries in a timely manner. The service maintenance requests (logged on the Avalon Website) were handled so efficiently that I had to pinch myself to make sure this was real! The building was always neat and clean. The maintenance and concierge staff were equally professional and knowledgeable. Overall, the service was outstanding! I would highly recommend staying at the Avalon (Bronxville).

Whenever there is an issue or question, Manny and his team has been responsive and have been so incredible helpful. They've resolved every matter brought to them quickly and effectively!--Had a wonderful experience leasing and moving into our new unit. A huge thank you to Sefa and Olga for making the process as seamless as possible. Both Sefa and Olga were great in helping to make the process smooth and answering all of our questions. My husband and I have lived in the Avalon in Bronxville for 1.5 years and love it here! The staff - including Bob, Patrick, Victor, and Manny - is wonderful to work with, the amenities are great, and the facilities are very well kept and clean. The location next to the Bronxville metro-north station and town is unbeatable. We are able to walk for food/coffee, workout classes, shopping, groceries, etc. They are also one of the few buildings in the area that is pet friendly and even provide dog treats and pet resources around the properly. Highly recommend the Avalon in Bronxville!

Great place to live. Right across from the Metro North station in Bronxville. Great school district (Bronxville). Patrick, Bob, Manny, and Dave always provide top-notch service. They really care about the residents. Building is very well maintained. They've done an especially great job keeping everything safe and sanitary during the pandemic. Pet friendly. Giant courtyard and yard for kids to play. We love living here.

Great place to live! The staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance is extremely responsive and the property is kept clean. The apartments are spacious with ample closet space. The location is also very convenient and just a short Metro North ride to Manhattan. My family and I couldn't be happier residents!
