I never leave reviews (bad or good) but I needed to say something about this CVS. Just moved into the neighborhood and I must say that this is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. The entire experience was horrible. My wife was just discharged from the hospital from giving birth and was in a lot of pain. They called the prescription in early but when I went to pick it up they said it will take 20 more minutes. I came back in 20 min and they said it would be an additional 20 min. Came back in 30 minutes and it was still not ready. Once I got home with the prescriptions, we noticed that the main prescription was not filled. Not only did they forget to fill one of my prescriptions (the main one) but when I came back to get it filled, they were more worried about going home than helping the customer. I explained that my wife was just discharged and was in a lot of pain but the pharmacist was only worried about making excuses to catch the train. I over heard her saying that it was Saturday and she had places to go. She kept saying that she could not get the prescription to go through but miraculously in the morning (which was another disaster) the prescription went through in minutes. This place as the worst customer service experience I have ever had to go through.

I’ve been going to the CVS on Pondfield Ave in Bronxville, for the last 2 years. It is more than a pharmacy for me. Its friendly atmosphere and good prices invite me in every time I am in the vicinity.

This location is nested in down town Bronxville. Easy to access from street parking. Store is well stocked for pharmacy items, gift and holiday items.

As a prescriber, I have never had such a terrible experience with a CVS to the point that I felt compelled to write a review. Month after month I encountered the same issue, and when asking for clarification, the pharmacy tech could not have been less knowledgeable and the pharmacist could not possibly have been more rude. No one could provide me with suggestions of how to prevent it from happening in the future. This cycle continued for five months until this month, when the regular solution did not work. After going back and forth for several hours, with the pharmacy tech not communicating to the pharmacist, the pharmacist ultimately yelled (like, actually yelled) at my pharmacy/insurance specialist, told her to stop calling and wasting her time, and that she did not have the time to deal with this. Ultimately, we transferred the prescription to another pharmacy so the patient could actually receive the prescription, and I’ll be sure to encourage my patients to use alternative pharmacies in the future.

I cannot speak highly enough about the staff at my local CVS in Bronxville. Their level of kindness, respect, and willingness to assist is truly remarkable. Tom is the best pharmacist you can possibly imagine. His costumer service skills are incredible. Very polite and respectful, we are fans and feel lucky to have him in our community. Same about Mounique, they score high in knowledge, skills and care. Big asset for CVS Pharmacy!Recently in 2023 we have been frustrated with the Pharmacy personnel. Only Tom is the person who is respectful and responsible at the pharmacy. My parents have been going through a lot and taking horrible service attitude from staff. They don’t belong to this job. Zero aptitude to deal with people. Rude is an understatement. Please keep our local pharmacy a pleasant place to visit.

Spent 40 minutes on hold waiting to ask about a prescription before I got kicked off. Spent another 40 minutes on hold and got kicked off again. Spent 20 minutes in line to be told they didn't have the prescription I had watched my Dr send to them two days earlier, and to wait until they could find time to find and fill it. Pharmacist was very kind and was doing his best to help me so I will boost the review up one star for him, but clearly the place is woefully understaffed. Don't even bother calling to ask about your prescription status, they won't pick up.

I usually have a good experience at the pharmacy, but my last visit was terrible. They had said that my insurance was not active, but it was. They told me to call the insurance company, but they were closed (Sunday). I was leaving for an international trip the next day so I had to have my thyroid meds. The pharmacist just told me to bring in the receipt next time to get a partial refund once it’s cleared up, but a rude technician (who wasn’t part of the conversation at all) was yelling and saying you can’t back date it… I wasn’t backdating anything. It’s not my fault the pharmacy wasn’t up to date with the insurance company… I was showing my insurance card where I clearly had active insurance. Hope I don’t have to deal with them again… I may not be so nice next time.

Terrible. My wife went in for a COVID shot and the older white guy pharmacist said she “did not qualify” ???? — her last shot was more than 8 months ago and she is traveling overseas in a few days. Other customers were also waiting in line - he ignored them and they became so frustrated they walked away! The store is also usually dirty and a generally mess. Go elsewhere. By the way the COVID shot was NO PROBLEM at Walgreens.

I was in the emergency room on Monday, spend almost 13 hrs there .On Tuesday, I needed medication that my doctor in Pennsylvania prescribed. I always go to CVS in Bronxville, so this time was no different. I approached a woman behind the desk and asked for the pharmacy phone number so my doctor could call and place my prescription. The woman gave me a card “Ellie Byun”.I called my doctor and gave the info. My doctor called me later and said he couldn’t talk to anyone because nobody picked up the phone and there is no way to leave messages . I went back to CVS and approached the woman and told her nobody picked up the phone , my doctor is calling and calling and nothing . This woman said to me that she is really busy and she is NOT going to pick up the phone , that the doctor should leave a message . I told her the phone rings and rings and nobody picks up . She insist that my doctor should leave a message . I called my doctor and asked him to please call back . He called back and same thing, nobody picked up and there is no way to leave a message. So I approached the woman again and told her the same thing and she stated she is busy and walked away. I started to cry because I was in pain , I didn’t sleep , I didn’t know what to do so my doctor who is in Pennsylvania placed the order over the phone . At the end I called my doctor again and I told him what was going on, he advised me to go to a different pharmacy. I ended up going to CVS in Fleetwood and IN LESS THAN 20 minutes I got my medication.We can’t have people like her working in this place , so rude , insensitive, heartless.

Service at the pharmacy is horrendous. The pharmacist treat customers like empty places. You are standing there at the drop-off window and they see you are standing there, noone acknowledges you, and when they actually do come up to help you, they are horrible. Stay away from this pharmacy! There is a beautiful, friendly, clean pharmacy a block away.

Woefully understaffed . Always a line slow line at the pharmacy. Not the employees fault , corporate skimping on staff . THEY CLOSE THE PHARMACY FOR LUNCH !!What pharmacy closes for lunch when people are out shopping . Backward !Go to Value drugs up the street .

The worst CVS Pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Customer service is terrible and they never have anything needed. No one answers the phones ever at the pharmacy or up front and they can never tell you when your prescription is coming in. I’ve gone so many times and have always been disappointed. They leave people waiting on line and take their time helping customers to no avail. They need new management or to be replaced with a more reliable pharmacy for the neighborhood.

I recently moved to Bronxville from Manhattan and while I’ve noticed the pace here in the suburbs seems much slower than the city, this CVS seems to be taking slow to a whole other level. The front cashier workers always seem very nice but my god, the service is unbelievably slow. Unfortunately, after waiting on line for almost 15 minutes(!) at the front register today, this will be my last visit to this CVS. The lines in the front have always been very slow but today was the final straw.

I genuinely hope this pharmacy gets shut down for their criminal activities and disrespectful customer service.This pharmacy is a complete mess, medications are never refilled properly or on time. No one follows up or has a clue. This is very sad. At a time when compassion and empathy is needed. I would never expect this in the town of Bronxville. CVS does not care, there has been feedback given but no action takes place.I will be reporting this to other agencies for a thorough investigation. Stay safe and stay away from this corrupt pharmacy.

This is an absolute mess of a pharmacy. CVS pharmacies already are hit and miss but this is the worst one I've ever been to. They don't answer the phones, often don't have things in stock when they say they do and make it inordinately difficult to refill medications. The pharmacy I'm switching to can't even get through to them to transfer prescriptions, so I have to go straight to the provider to have them switch pharmacies for me. I've never experienced such awful care at a pharmacy. After months of constant stress, I am finally getting it sorted so that I never have to set foot in this awful place ever again.

This review is solely for my phone experience with the pharmacy. I called in for a refill and after holding for nearly 15 minutes found the pharmacist to be very dismissive. While I had received a letter from my RX plan informing me the I needed to contact my local pharmacy for a 90 refill. Her response was that I had already received my 90 supply and was not eligible until February 2020. Made no effort to verify I had only received a 60 day supply not customer friendly at all.

If I could give less than one star I would. The pharmacy department is absolutely falling apart. Pharmacist wandered in late on 9/26 -- patrons left while being kept waiting with NO explanation from staff members. Friday 9/25 was just as bad -- people waiting for a half hour or more despite having an appointment. Jeremy, the manager, was told about the issue and felt it was more important to fold up boxes for recycling than help.Take your business elsewhere.

I have called this store 4 times in one day. Been on hold for 19 minutes the first time. 14 mins and 22 mins the others. My son needs his medication. I need to have it ready. The last time he needed an antibiotic it took them 2 days to get it to me. I will never use this pharmacy again

It's really bad. Service isn't very efficient, and while most of the people who work there are nice, that doesn't offset the fact that I've had a lot of trouble getting my prescriptions, even when I've received the message that they're ready to be picked up. Usually put on hold for 10 - 20 minutes when calling, sometimes nobody picks up at all. Very frustrating experience.

Took my father for his booster here. Pharmacist David was INCREDIBLY rude. Had zero customer service skills, zero personality skills and a basic lack of knowledge of the shot and its potential side effects. Wouldn't trust this man with my Rxs. Go elsewhere

The service provided by this pharmacy is awful. They don't follow up with you regarding prescriptions. They are nearly impossible to reach by phone. I waited 10 min and was disconnected. Called back and hung up after being on hold for 20 min. That was just today. It's a similar experience every time. They rarely seem to have my prescriptions in stock - and they only receive the orders they send out for once a week. Won't be using them again.

Store is poorly stocked, messy. Pharmacy has the very poor customer service, mistakes, doesn't answer phones, refills called in more that a day before not filled when you arrive the following day. If staffing is an issue, CVS should respond.

Just like many other people have said, no one answers the phone in the pharmacy. I called 2x & was on hold for 20 min each time & no one answered. I called back to speak to a store manager & phone kept ringing. They need to do better. Poor customer service.

I called twice today in hopes of seeing if I needed to walk all the way out to pick my prescription up or if it was still on hold - waited over 10 minutes both times and got hung up on before I could even speak to a pharmacist. If you can get your prescriptions from another CVS please do, I'll be transferring my prescriptions after I finally get my refill.

Needed help sorting out complicated post op medication regimen. Held for a half hour on the phone and then dealt with a pharmacist with a negative tone and frankly rude demeanor. Go somewhere else to get your scripts filled! Who needs this when you're trying to deal with personal health issues

I went to pick up a Prescription for my eye surgery, and the cashier tells me they’re closed for lunch? 2 Pm on a Saturday? What professional company has all attendants out for lunch at the same time for something as important as filling prescriptions
