This pet store is the best , the quality of the fishes are very good , all the fishes are healthy , the staff is very helpful , they have alot of exotic for very reasonable price , i got 7 mbuna , 6 ob peacocks in my 80 gallon its been 1 week all are alive & doing well 👍

Has everything you need including fish but unfortunately the actual store is too small and the aisles don't connect to each other.That's not the stores fault necessarily, it's bad city and spacial planning but it really messes up the shopping experience.Often times there's boxes blocking the aisles and employees using space at the register when talking to the cashier.

The best petshop in the Bronx. Very reasonable prices hard to find in other pets shops in Ny. Staff is very friendly, attentive wirh customers never seen that else where. Bought 2 beautiful parakeets for my mini flock at a very good price. This petshop deserves alot of customers.

Angelo always has a variety of fish and tank accessories, aside from birds, cages, kittens, food etc. My last purchase there were fish.

I went there to get my 55gal tank setup, from the filter media to the African cichlids to the ph test kit they hooked me up very knowledgeable and helpful good prices and friendly family family business I wish I could give more stars....very satisfied

I visited the store to see what type of fish they have in stock. I was in complete shock to immediately notice that the fish were not looking well. There were dead fish floating around in many of the tanks as well as a terrible outbreak of ich, fungus, fin rot and busted jaws. I observed an employee netting the fish for a customer and I can instantly tell that he did not know what he was doing. I am absolutely sure that at the time of this post that everyone whom purchased any of these fish were disappointed a couple of days later when their purchases died. I would not recommend this store to anyone. Please ignore the reviews that are more than a year old and giving this store 4-5 stars.

This pet city almost always has everything you need. They have items for fish, cats, dogs, kittens, turtles, birds, mice and other common pets. Although the items are a little pricey this place is good in case you can't find what you need elsewhere.

Place is small, workers are unhelpful, uninformed, annoyed if you try to pick a certain fish instead of just accepting whatever they scoop out for you. Lots of dead fish in the tanks. Dead snails allowed to decay at the bottom of the tanks. Workers don't know which fish is which. Master test kit for water that cost 20 bucks online sold for 40 bucks here. Small tank decorations overpriced too, starting at 25 dollars. Manager seemed annoyed that I waited for him to unlock the door to let me out instead of just letting myself out. Just an unpleasant experience in general. Probably my last time shopping here unless it's an emergency. Don't be fooled by these one word/one sentence reviews with 5 star ratings. Try somewhere else. One last detail, when my transaction was done the cashier didn't even hand me the bag, I had to reach behind the plastic barrier they put up due to Corona Virus and grab my own bag. Just rude in general and my expectations are usually fairly low when it comes to human interactions.

The store is way too small and overcrowded. They don't have shampoo for cats and their selection of everything is pretty limited. You would only come here to get little knick knacks.

Enjoying shopping there fir my parakeets. Its very neat and they very clean with their pets. And every weekend from 4- 5:30pm ( Saturday ) they have Vets. Come in to give Shots for all pets. I recommended to a friend I do recommended to everyone else.

New Ownership--- I keep fish and reptiles... I went in there the other day, and was surprised at the changes that were made. I bought fish from there and I am now happy that I didn't have to go a long distance to get good quality fish. They also sell DUBIAS for my reptiles :)

This shop has been around since I was about 12-13 years old . I now take my son here . Small store but worth the commute from my house. Various selection to choose from, whether it be pets or products . Friendly atmosphere, great staff. I always support the small mom & pop stores over a larger corporation like Petco or PetSmart anyday

It's ok. One of the few pet shops around the area. Some things are a little costly, but when you need something like food or health ptoducts for your pet, price isn't a problem. Horrible customer service. Cashier and stock person debating price, while in front of me in Spanish. When asked what the issue was with the price, cashier in turn got very rude and hostile.Typical behavior from an establishment in the hood. So not surprised.

Very small selection of rabbit hay. I understand there’s not many rabbit owners, but they only carry alfalfa hay(small percentage of rabbit owners use this) and Timothy hay with spearmint(so weird). Recommendation: get regular Timothy hay and orchard grass stocked!

Please don't purchase any fish from here the water quality is horrible tested the water in the bag they put my fish in and the ph was way off and when I added the fish to my tank with perfect pH I noticed immediately the fish was sick so I ended up spending $20 on medication to keep a $3 fish alive moral to the story is don't buy from this place go to Petco or PetSmart

I have a well established fishtank bought 3 fancy gold fish got them home and in 3 days I started to notice one fish had swim bladder disease and two had ick ended up treating the whole tank got rid of the ick but the fish with bladder disease ended up dying then a week later I noticed that another fish also had bladder disease and that fish also ended up dying so now I'm left with one healthy fish so I decide to give them one more try and buy one more fish from them and what do you know two days later I noticed that fish had fungus
