Love this place!! Customer service was THE BEST!! Came in looking for a fur brother for our First Fur baby Benji. They were amazing with helping us choose between so many adorable pups. I took my dog there Sunday for a hair. To be honest the customer service is amazing. 100% hands down very friendly people working there. But to be very honest I won’t take my dog there for grooming again her hair cut is uneven they cut her hair from her tail to short when I ask them to plz don’t cut much off her tail. I’m very disappointed with it but what can I say $80.00 went down the drain. I do apologize for this post but I have to let yall know how I feel. I

I have no doubt that the animals at the store are well taken care of. They are really docile and will allow you to interact with them.The store gets its pets from a breeder and isn't shy about it. The people working in the store were nice and professional. The animals were clean and active.🔴They DO NOT discuss process over the phone, not even to give you a ballpark on what to expect. They cat I was told about would come to $1400. They do come with insurance from the store(I dont know how good it is).

Despite the bad reviews, I still went to their store and spoke with the employees and the groomer, I asked them a series of questions about the groomer before I met him btw. He is very nice and seems to know his stuff with grooming. I have a 7 month old shih tzu and was in desperate need of a cut and Carlos did and exceptional job on my baby! Here are the before and after! I'm very pleased with the job and do recommend him! I'll be taking my other dog to him for a trim.

I brought my loving beautiful golden retriever for grooming I told groomer give him low cut never said shave & dats wat they did. I make complain everybody looks stupid in the face now my baby doesn't even look like himself.Not even an Apology Very unprofessional didn't even call me to tell me my baby was ready.Dirty place and very Nasty. Feel bad for pups tho.

I went there just looking around because we where ready to add another addition to our family and that’s where I met my little king Lennox he was our dream dog I was so happy when Chris showed him to me. Chris was very helpful and super nice 🤩 All the puppy’s are adorable there you should definitely come check it out you might just fall in love with a fur baby ❤️

I got my fur baby when she was only 9 weeks, she is now 1 year and 8 months and I couldn’t be more than happy with the service I recieved here, anytime I called they picked up, if there was anything wrong with her, if she wasn’t eating right etc. This is a place where you should definitely get your pup.

I give this pets store and the employees 5 stars. I found my forever friend puppy here and it was a pleasant experience. The employees and owners go out of there way to help you and make u happy. The prices are affordable and they offer financing. I am so happy I walked in that day and found my best friend. Kodi the cocker spaniel.👌👌👌

Love this pet shop. The lovely lady behind the counter is exceptional and really knew her stuff. She introduced herself( I'm horrible at remembering names) and is quite friendly and engaging. She's an older young lady like myself working well past retirement which I thought was great. Loved her job and she made Gabbys pets an enjoyable experience. Looking to go back and purchase my puppy for my granddaughter after I save up. The puppies are from $1900- $2500. Everything shots and checkups included. Any issues with your pet they have a vet. They even add a chip for you included in the price. Check this place out in the bronx near Fordam Road.

This pet store does not take care of their hamsters. The hamster are living in filth and fighting one another. Please clean their cages that’s not healthy and it can make them sick.

I recently purchased a toy poodle puppy at Gabby pets were I was under the impression that I was going to be given exceptional service and most importantly a healthy puppy. Unfortunately, that was not the case for me. This store sold me a puppy that had an infection. The first night we brought the puppy home I noticed he had a strange cough and he vomit that night. I immediately took him to get checked out by a vet the following day and the vet gave us a diagnosis of kennel cough which is a highly contagious respiratory infection. The puppy was put immediately on antibiotics. The vet deemed the puppy was unfit for sale and gave us legal paperwork for his profession diagnosis. The following day I went back to the pet shop and complained but the store owner was of no help. He said he doesn’t agree with the vet’s professional opinion and there was nothing he can do for us. The next day the owner calls me back and says all he can do for me is to give me a new puppy if I returned the one I purchased. My family and I have already grown attached to this puppy so returning him is not an option for us. The owner has been very rude and unprofessional. I do no recommend Gaby Pets to anyone looking to purchase a puppy. They only care about people’s money. They have shown us they don’t actually care about the well being of these puppies.

I had been bringing my 2 digit gs for grooming, for the last 3 yrs, the gentleman Carlos did an excellent job, & another dark haired young lady, today there was another woman doing the grooming, I was reluctant, but left them to be groomed, upon getting home, I find my fur baby all bruised in his groin area, & the bald headed cue ball behind the counter was very rude & vulgar. Poor customer service!

This pet shop sells their pets extremely sick, I purchased my first pet and the pet had diarrhea WITH BLOOD everyday, then the second pet that I received they were diagnosed with Giardia. All of their pets are sick, when I tried to come back to return the first pet they (Don) said that they don’t do any refunds but then I was able to exchange it for a different pet. I then came back another day and Don’s son said that I was able to get a refund without any issues. This pet shop has many issues, including lack of communications with their team, everyone says different things and then they give you sick pets, no wonder why every pet you purchase will come with a 5 year health insurance. ALSO, all of their pets are given their shots early, so if they tell you that the pets shots are “up to date” they’re LYING. I’ve gone to the vet both times for both vets and had to pay for the shots they need. The vet says they give shots early so that they can sell their pets, they don’t care and give no consideration about their customers and their pets. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, YOU'LL REGRET IT.

They have great breeds and helpful supplies for anything you might need for your pet. The (bilingual) staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. However, they were definitely up scaling the price and they didn’t care about anything else but their money. They almost had a car salesman- like attitude. When I hypothetically asked about payment plans and policies along with the duration of the layaway time, there was a bald guy behind the counter that was very rude and dismissive with his answers. Turns out he’s one of the bosses/ owner of the shop.

Service was great. The workers helped us get everything we needed and paperwork is legit. Insurance and also five year health insurance you can’t beat that. Dogs are pricey but what do you expect for these beautiful dogs. I bought a Puggle yesterday he’s mixed and gorgeous. I definitely recommend this pet shop the best customer service ever.

def do not recommend this place at all. Pups are wayyyy over priced for 1. For 2 my pup got home went to her first vet check up and had worms. The dude that sales the pups. Black guy swears he knows what he is talking about how ever he does not. They are money hungry and desperate. I regret doing business with these people with my pup. In general female animals are always worth more being that they have babies. How ever they charge the same damn price for a male. And they jump on you to spend money in order to give you any info. Save your money people the same pups they have for 3000 can be brought else where for way less. How I know cause I called around after spending 4k on a pup.

i recently bought a puppy from this store and i don’t recommend this place at all. Because of the pandemic prices have skyrocketed and their service is horrible. They claimed my puppy came from a reputable breeder but the address and phone number i was given as proof was fake. Just because my puppy is healthy doesn’t mean they all are. They offer insurance but the only vet you’re allowed to visit is in queens. My dog needed medicine and we had to wait a week for this stupid pet store to pick it up. Then at the pet store they tried to offer the wrong medicine!

I got my yorkie “teacup” here I was charged overprice on March 1, 2020. They said he was a teacup comes to be months pass by he wasn’t a teacup but a toy they totally lied to me about his size and his breed. They charged me for a microchip which was $200 something which is totally insane and when it fell the first time I went back they input it again “supposedly” . Months later the vet stated he was never microchip LOL. The pets usually come with insurance which doesn’t cover nothing they use that to pursue you into buying a pet. The only place to receive this service is in Queens upon arrival they still charge you for vaccines and etc so what’s the point of the insurance.Although I paid 2K for my dog I love him. The lying and overcharging is insane and it’s not worth it. Don’t buy a pet here unless you trying to be lied and overcharged. I will like the manager to contact me. The Dominican guy at the front desk is a liar and should stop giving false narratives about these pets.

This place is WONDERFUL!!!!!My daughter and I brought our 3 year old dog that we just rescued here his fur was extremely matted the worst case I had ever seen. Gabby's staff were extremely gentle to our new baby. boy and 4 1/2 hours later we had this beautiful and happy 🐕. My daughter and I are truly grateful to the whole staff at Gabby's Pets and they will be the only groomer for our dog.

OMG!!! I don’t even know where to begin! Lynn was such a help when it came to my family choosing our new baby Dior. She was very knowledgeable and appeared to be very interested in assisting my family. From the time we walked into the shop until the time we walked out we had an excellent experience. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. I would recommend anyone looking to bring a new pet into their home to stop by the shop, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again Lynn 😊

I googled this pet store and was so happy it was located in the Bronx. I called the number and asked if they had chihuahuas. The lady over the phone said yeah and so I went and When I got there no one greeted me and my family just stared ...and pointed to the back. (Already bad customer service) I asked to see the chihuahuas and why did she only show me one. He was tiny and cute but all the other animals around him looked dirty. I asked to see the others and she said she only had one ... I asked how much because most pet stores and breeders want them from 1,000 to 2600 this lady tells me 3400 got to register and the guy with the bald head adds 400 dollars more. ( ok you get my drift) why so much ??? Very expensive don’t tell you much about the animal like if they had all their shots or history about the parents. And they dont give you your money back if the dog is sick or anything or if you just wanted to put a deposit everything is final sale. This shop is ghetto and a rip off someone needs to close them down. They don’t care if you really want the puppy and try to work things out and the bald head guy looks like he really hates his job. Please people read the reviews not just mine .. Go some where else especially if you really want a puppy. I got my chihuahua from a well know breeder for 1100 and he’s adorable from out the state and you can also adopt one.. Gabby Pet Store You Guys are the worse pet shop in New York City shame on you!!!!
