Besides being thrilled about the self dogwash (which is an absolute game changer and more stress free for both), the staff here is absolutely amazing. They are so knowledgeable and passionate - and obviously love what they are doing. Customer service wise definitely above 5 stars as well as friendliness across the team. Special thanks to all of you as it makes a huge difference. I have probably been to most Petstores in Manhattan and in the surrounding areas, but have not slightly seen such a great consistency in customer service and friendliness. Special shout out to Krysta, who mostly assisted us during our shopping sprees and Dog wash is an absolute gem and customers - both two and four legged just love her. Her recommendations and product knowledge and suggestions are/ were always spot on. Thanks so much! Paula & Eli & Pablito ... and the kitties (.... who were also treated like VIPs by the entire team during their Vet visit at the store, which is also offered on a regular basis for a great price...). Thanks again!!!!

Good selection and friendly staff. I have a cat so I cant speak for the dog facilities (baths and such,) but if I did have a dog it looks like it would be a nice place to be able to give them a bath/shower.Only negative for me is I feel so bad for the betta fish wasting away in little jars.

Excellent experience at Valu Pets in Briarcliff! I brought my dog in for a self-wash and the staff was helpful and courteous. They provided the shampoo and towels...will return again soon!

I love PetValu in Briarcliff! Not only is it in a super convenient location for me, but the staff is always super friendly and helpful. The staff has gone out of their way for me before, too! I needed Greenie's dental treats for my kitty cat and the Briarcliff location didn't have any and one of the staff members by the name of Melanie actually drove all the way to Yorktown Heights to get me a bag b/c it would be awhile until a new supply came in. Thank you Melanie and PetValu! Keep up the great work! :-)

Excellent service, bring your pet. Not only were was my dog welcomed, the employees went out of their way to help meet our needs. I've stopped purchasing pet products online based on this chains commitment.

I purchased dog training pads ($25) and they didn’t work. My dog’s pee went right thru them. I tried to return the package the following day and was told I could exchange for another brand which was $5 or to contact the vendor directly. I asked the manager for store credit and was told they couldn’t do that.

Second bad experience in this store. Tip to management: you don't have one person both shampooing dogs and handling the register. This is why people shop online. Going to Chewy now.
