The place has history; the place is huge; the place is beautiful, outside miles of orchard and inside bakery; the place is friendly; however, the food is hit and miss. The donuts are small but tasty; the cinnamon raisin cookies are price but delicious (6.99 for 6 small ones); The Concord Grape reserve is just sugar and jelly for $8. and the cherry stick is just mediocre. You could stop by to visit history if you are nearby; the food is not worth of the trip, the scenery, maybe.

Very nice farm with a WIDE selection of baked goods! Everything was fresh and baked on the Saturday around noon when we stopped by. They have lots of bee products that are locally sourced. They also have some artisanal items that are perfect for gifting. We would definitely go again as the weather warms up and there may be more fruits and veggies available.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟We had an incredible time at this orchard on the recommendation of my local cousin! It was the perfect place to spend quality time with family. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the mouthwatering ribs and double chicken wings. And the unique ice cream flavors like blueberry corn were a delightful surprise! The overall experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a fun and tasty outing. Can't wait to come back to the area and visit again! 😊🍖🍗🍦

Classic Westchester County apple farm and farm store. So many local products and home baked goods. Friendly service, good parking, open fields to enjoy, food truck on site. Shopped for apples, peaches, vegetables, and pie. Many choices of home baked pies. Apple crumb is a favorite. Cider, donuts, plants, dry goods, condiments and more!

Their apple pies are delicious. Won’t settle for anything less after trying them. I like about two hours away and every time I find myself in or around Brewster, Salingers Orchard is definitely a stop on my list.

What a find! We happened to come across this market on the way to Danbury. Picked up lamb shepard's pie, Valentine's day tea, locally made chocolate chip pancake mix, and some amazing doughnuts. They have a lot to offer. The apples looked huge and they had a good selection of baked goods and pies.

Salinger’s has become a required visit for me every time fall rolls around and they never disappoint. The apple cider donuts are always amazing along with their hot cider and dozens of choices of fresh baked goods. Their selection has plenty of variety and there always something new for me to try. The family that runs the location is always nice and inviting. I will continue to come back in the future and really love this place.

Came thinking they did apple picking. They only do it on the weekends.Bought their apple cider donuts, & apple cider. It’s good stuff! They also now have a pumpkin cheesecake for about $35 and it’s huge! My husband kept asking them to sell him just one slice because he wouldn’t be able to eat the whole pie. They eventually gave in for the slice and he devoured it in the car in 1 minute.

I came here with my family, and I'll just say I wish I had known of such an awesome place sooner. The chicken wings from the BBQ bus were incredible. The potato salad, not so much. My daughter loved the donuts and enjoyed taking a fun photo atop the gigantic pumpkin outside where the seating was. The bees were a bit of an inconvenience to have around (our table was near the trash, and it was the only table available for 8 people at the moment), I'd suggest a further spot for the garbage to be placed. The inside was really intriguing. It was incredibly busy, but the experience of shopping and enjoying live music while you ate was very pleasing. It's a great place for family and friends, even people who like to explore by themselves. Will be returning!

Edit: Reply to owner, yes you may not have many “1 star reviews.” But if you sort your reviews by 2 and 3 stars, you’ll see that you have dozens ;) customer service is clearly not your forte here. They deleted my review from last year. So here I am reposting it :)So it's my 2nd time coming here. The first time last year was pleasant. But today, October 5th 2022, my boyfriend and I visited again. It was the rudest experience I've had in my life. And I never complain.First of all, the older lady working the cash register is dry and emotionless. Would get irritated for asking simple questions. Now here's the worst part. The guy working behind the Bakery counter (where the donuts and muffins were) is the rudest associate I've met.He got offended when we didn't want a sample of the cheesecake. And when my boyfriend asked if they do refills for the Apple Cider, the man replied "Does it look like we do refills? Do you see a damn sign saying that?" And walked away. My jaw literally dropped. We spent over $100 today and feel gross supporting this "family business." Will be telling all of my friends to steer clear of here. And never recommend it ever again.

Salinger’s Orchard is a must. A cup of coffee and and apple cider donut from Salinger’s is a perfect combination. The fruit pies are incredible, the preserves are delicious and the fresh picked apples tie it all together. Stop in on a weekend and you will be treated to “The Bus” which is serving up the. Most. Amazing. Sandwiches. All around incredible sandwiches, fried chicken, bacon egg and cheese, porchetta, cheese burger, fried eggplant, ox tail with bone marrow. You could spend the whole afternoon at Salinger’s getting your mind blown by the food. It’s just that good. Go there today.

Family-owned local apple and peach orchard and bakery. They are famous for their Thanksgiving pies. Their blueberry pie is amazing. I buy my local honey there as they have several varieties. (Local bees too.) Delicious muffins too.

Friendly service, scrumptious baked goods. This is our 2nd Blueberry pie from Salingers and it's full of berries in delicious pastry. The Cider Donuts are made fresh in full view of the customers. The orchard's Honeycrisp Apples are perfect.

Very little fruit on the pies. Rip off and very disappointing. I asked if the apple turnover was freshly baked with real apples, not the canned syrup. There was the thinest layer of the syrupy junk and a few scattered minuscule pieces of mushy apple pieces. I buy the pancake mix at ShopRite for $3.00 less. High prices, limited selection of apples, no other fruit available. Not returning.

What a disappointment! My family and I have been going to Salinger's for years. This past Sunday my sister was visiting from New Jersey and we decided to do our traditional apple, pies , cider and donut run. The green and Macintosh apples tasted old. We don't mind the drive and cost, but REALLY Salinger's what a disappointment. We only discovered the apples were bad when we got home...to far to drive back. I guest it's time for a new place.

Went to pick apples, but you can't pick apples. It's an apple orchard but trees are fenced off. It's a store that sells fresh made Apple products, Apple butter, fudge, cakes, pies, cider etc... Bought a Dutch Apple crumb pie 16.00. Very good still warm, but I've had better from farm stand much closer to home.

I went there with my daughter to go apple picking....the orchard was not accessible but I am sure they had a reason - we didn't ask since they were all so busy...we got donuts there but we must have gotten a older batch since they where very dry...it's a cute place to visit and although the little apple pies seemed a little overpriced, they where a hit with my friends I gifted them to.
