This store has seriously gone down hill in the past few years. Nothing is ever stocked. Store smells terrible. Went there today at 11am and the doors were locked, no sign on the door saying it was closed or anything. Happens frequently at this store that it is closed for absolutely no reason! The entrance door has been broken for years.. what the heck is going on?! So disappointing DG. Do better.

Sadly, Brewerton residents have to depend on the dollar General for many basics as there is no grocery store here (yet). So today I went in to get a bag of sugar. There was none in the baking section, but sometimes you’ll find it in another part of the store. I asked the one employee if they had any and she said, “if you dont see it, no we don’t. We probably have some out back but it hasn’t been stocked and I’m here alone and can’t do it. In fact, I don’t know where I’d find it.” I’m not faulting her…the store is always short on staff, sticking carts in the aisles with no one to stock shelves, which are messy and unorganized. The facility itself is dirty and badly needs maintenance. I’ve been to other Dollar General stores that have the square footage necessary to accommodate their wide variety of merchandise. This store needs to close and relocate to a better location and staff it properly. Who is the manager and how can they walk into this place and think all is well. It is NOT!

Another one of those.. if you open at 8 you should have a second person to open if someone calls in. Store opened 2.5 hours late and lost 35 customers. I sat and wait the whole time. To me that's unacceptable. Loss of customers equals lost revenue.

Very rude employees, the blonde butch lady follows you around the store and makes it very obvious that she thinks you're going to steal and gives you dirty looks. I mean If you're going to follow me down every aisle you can at least ask if I need something instead of just being rude. Can't find anything its jammed pack, talk very badly about ALL customers, not a fan of the blonde lady who talks and walks like a guy. Should have listen to everyone to stay away from that place. Only nice worker is Pat! Shocked on how I was treated with complete obvious discomfort. Very poor customer service skills. Not helpful at all. Sad cause I use to like this place. The prices are never accurate from the shelves one price then cashing out another. there is just too much in the store.

It's been a long time since I shopped at Dollar general but I must say the shopping experience was good. They have a cooler for fresh and frozen items. Full size gallon of milk and a lot of name brand items in the frozen section. I did not give them five stars because the isles are narrow due to all the items they sell. Also, as usual the wait time to checkout was long because only one person was at the register.

We went there Saturday, they had a shipment of hand sanitizer. They said that it would be opened later, so we waited. They didn't open it until everybody was gone and by the time we came back they had sold it all. Definitely sold it to they're friends.

Typical Dollar General. Simple place. Dirty & dingy. But what do you expect? This ain't no Wegmans store. The carts don't push well, hell, the door don't even open electronically. They barely open manually. It's the Dollar General, again. You want 5 Star? Go to Costco.

Store is way to crowded, the cashiers are very friendly but sometimes very hard to find. They are out on the floor putting away items or cleaning an aisle so you have to stand there waiting for them to check register.

I like it. I can buy here what I used to order on Amazon. Which is very handy because Amazon sells junk. I was even able to find bleach here at the height of the Covid scare. Very cool.

Long wait, only one door working to get in or out, only one register working. Place looks like it was burglarized and/or robbed. It's Dollar General though, so I got 2 BDay cards for a dollar........

No customer service skills in this location at all . The manger is very rude and hostile . She would rather kick you out of the store than help fix a problem they made.

If your hours are from 8AM-9PM then there is absolutely no reason for doors to be locked at 1:17PM!!!
