Didn't stay at the campground but it looked nicely maintained. Built in swimming pool would be worth staying! Have vacation home in the area and wanted to check out the restaurant. Glad I did! Breakfast sandwich with bacon on toasted hard roll was excellent 👍 Want to go back on a Friday to try chicken and biscuits dinner.Playground: Playground area looked like it could keep the kids entertained for a while 🙂

Stopped by for lunch after kayaking the Schroon River. We ordered the special of the day- 2 Hot Dogs with meat sauce & onions plus slaw, potato salad or chips for $6. Yummy!! We enjoyed our quintessential summer meal sitting outside by their pool.(Open Mon. & Tues, Fri-Sunday, Dinners Friday night)

How sad I have to change this post. We camped at Tin Teepee since our kids were little. My husband's health changed considerably over the last three months and we are no longer able to keep our site The staff that now runs the site Bernie and Cheryl are not very nice. We were very clear in when we would vacate our site and they booked it anyway. Offered to pay for the month and today was called, yelled at and told they would yank our trailer off the site. Today is the 27th end of month is the 31st. It was such a sad way to end our time there. I certainly will no longer encourage folks to check out this campground. I will tell folks to look elsewhere.We found this campground when we were searching for a summer home for our family. The staff is like family they are warm, caring and fun. The campground is well cared for clean and has all the amenities you could need. Its like a home away from home.

A great breakfast off in the woods in a beautiful part of New York. The service was friendly and in every way perfect.When you leave, continue down Bean Road to the Bean Farm and the home of Mr and Mrs Bean. You might find yourself wondering what product is grown on the Bean Farm. Such a discussion happened. My call is ... if not growing beans, then there is no justice on the planet.

I mean it was ok. Camp sites seemed to be an after thought. Prolly a way to make a few extra $$. And I think they need to train there staff better. Seems to me they are more concerned about pleasing there regular campers than taking the time to explain what they offer to the new guests arriving. The pool was ok. It was small and needed to be cleaned but it served its purpose. But the bratty kids needed to be watched by their parents instead of just left to do what they wanted. The parents were to concerned with drinking than to watch there kids. So when my wife and I went in their we literally got chased around the pool by these kids.

My wife and I have been seasonal campers here for over two years. The owners and all the staff are great people.This is a fairly new campground and is still in the process of evolving.The campground is family oriented with a nice small children's play area.The Deli/Restaurant is quaint with good and plenty food.A nicely kept pool is directly behind the office/restaurant.They are motorcycle/ATV friendly with several private trails and also connect to the Trail Pass System and are close to the Adirondack Northway (I-87).Come on in and enjoy the outdoors!

Have been going there for 5yrs, renting their cabin and trailer .Spending a lot of money per trip, between the rental & trail passes for 3 machines I am dropping 6 bills+ per weekend 3× a season. Now the owner says only seasonal renters can bring their wheeler.I CAN RENT THEIR CABIN OR TRAILER for $600+ for the weekend but can't bring my machines! Why advertise as an ATV park if you can rent but not bring your wheelers? ALWAYS BEEN RESPECTFUL AND RESPONSIBLE, NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS, GET ALONG GREAT WITH AII THE SEASONAL PEOPLE.Feeling a little annoyed about the whole situation. The whole reason we started going there was so we could camp & ride. No sense in even going anymore if we can't bring the quads. There is definitely not enough to do at the campgrounds without the wheelers!

Well kept and run by nice people. Rvs are not on top of each other and located in a nice woodsy setting. Nice cafe, dog friendly and nice pool!
