I truly enjoyed this place and wish that we are here first night we arrived from appetizers ( spinach dip, wings , mozzarella sticks & nachos) to Salmon plank dinner so buttery & melt in your mouth oh my it was savory. It's more like a bar type setting yet it was 5 star restaurant food. We came as a group 20 of us and everyone had different entree and it did not disappoint - there were a lot of clean plates.Such a great atmosphere and again food was excellent!!!Come to Frederick's and only eat there if you want an enjoyable and amazing meal to remember - I will be backDietary restrictions: There is something for everyone and if you have Restrictions they accommodate and have good food specific to your dietary needs so please come order eat and enjoy so delicious and yummy goodParking: Plenty of parking in front and on side of building we arrived about 6:30 pm and spot right in front of place. Stopped in Frederick's with a friend who always wanted to try the place. We were not disappointed.I had the chicken parm and she had the salmon.The wraparound deck was nice to watch the people, cars, and motorcycles on main Street. We were here right at the beginning of Americade but it was not super crowded.People were friendly and the service was very good. Worth the 15-minute trip north of Lake George Village. I believe open year round.We will be back.

After a long day of skiing, my friends and I were desperate for a delicious meal and were sad to see that so many restaurants around were closed on wednesdays. Well, leave it to good ole Fredrick to pick you up when you’re down. Awesome atmosphere, a roaring fire, and locals up at the bar make this place feel so homey, although they looked us up and down as we entered. It could be that I had no shoes on, though. As big city people, this rustic little tavern is the best of the best. The waiter was working alone and didn’t even write our order down but he got everything perfect. Great establishment.

We stopped into Frederick's on a whim and I'm so glad we did! The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for a snowy and cold afternoon. The warm hearth and exposed beams added to the tavern like feel. Our food was delicious! I was a little concerned about the price but when our order came out it was a very generous portion which helped justify the price. My wife had the Fred Special and it was fantastic! Don't pass up this great spot next time you're in town!

Frederick's Restaurant was warm and relaxing. One may dine inside or outside. The food was very good, and portions were generous. We had delicious chicken caprese paninis.

Well, it’s been a good 20years eating here except for the last two. The last two years have been disappointing to say the least. The last three times we have just not been treated like welcome customers. We’re not real sure what’s going on but there never seems to be a table we can sit at indoors because they are always understaffed or the hostess just can’t tell us how long it will be before we will be seated. Tonight, 11/4/23, the hostess and a server argued about seating people(hostess just started her shift at 5pm) and and who was next in line. We asked to to be seated inside and we were told 10 minutes. 3 minutes later the hostess told me that she could not tell me when we would be seated. There were two tables with no one at them and the downstairs now seems to be shut down. You can never get a seat at the bar as the locals have that covered and the seating in front of the fireplace is never available because locals are always taking up the space just drinking. So, we said thank you and we would just eat somewhere else. Panera it was. Sadly, our time enjoying this place is over. We hope others get better service.

Food was very good including the Chicken Pot Pie which is a seasonal specialty here. Try the refreshing Saratoga Springs cold and refreshing water. Don't order the pizza; it tastes like boxed microwave pizza and we left more than 1/2 of the pie (didn't want to take it home as leftovers). Unless they improve the quality of pizza, AVOID IT. Other items seem to be very good including the steaks. Enjoy.

We're from long island and we've been visiting Lake George since the early 90s. We discovered Boltons Landing at that time and looking for dinner we stumbled on Frederick's. Except for 2 years for covid we visit several times year. Frederick's hoopes wings are must even as a lunch or dinner along with local beer. There are usually 4 of us but as many as 12 that visit Lake George but never miss Frederick's, especially the wings.

The ladies at the front outside were ok, it seemed like we were distributing them but once we got inside it was great service, beautiful decor, and bartenders were fantastic!!Food of the wall!!I would recommend this to anyone! (They are open past 10)Parking: There is parking outback! Kid-friendliness: There were kids there during normal lunch dinner hours

We came with a large group and they were able to keep us together and serve us fast. We sat outside and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The music was not to loud and the server was friendly. The food itself was fantastic. I recommend the truffle fries and my 4 year old loved the spaghetti.

Food took about an hour, but was definitely worth the wait! (Then again, we ordered for 11 people) The servers were pretty nice too!Kid-friendliness: Got us a high chair immediately!

Excellent place to eat. We got the homemade cream of mushroom soup. In the garden salad was excellent. Two other people with me and they love their food. Note sure if it was an off night or what, it some of the worst food ever. Great server. But the stuffed shrimp were sad. The shrimp were way over cooked and about as bland as they could be. The stuffing was mostly tasteless, but had a beer taste to it. The rice that came on the place was tooth breaking hard, and the zucchini was carbon black. (If I microwaved some shrimp in butter, they would have been better).I got the Southwest Chicken Salad. It was ok, but the chicken was cold, not freshly grilled, and the dressing could have been so much better.Pizza next door would have been a much better use of money and time. Or even the pizza here looked good. Skip the shrimp!!

Been going here for 25 years and it's always great. The deck is always fun. They have live music sometimes. Kereoke is fun on Fridays. Menu has something for everyone. Pizza and wings are great. Panini sandwiches are great. Chicken parm and steaks are great. Drinks are great. Servers and hostess are always friendly. Bartenders are great. Go a couple times and you'll feel like family.

On a recent trip to the region, stopped in to this joint with a party of several in the early evening. Service, facilities and especially ATTITUDES, were not acceptable. Food took over an hour to come out and was absolutely awful. Received partial credit on bills but they seriously need to learn some table manners and clean up the facilities!

Placed a dinner to-go order for a small film crew of people visiting the area. The hostess, Angelique (forgive my spelling) took my order for all 10 burgers, which were each very specific and unique and she not only did an incredible, thorough job but she was SOOOO patient and kind throughout the whole ordering process.Wasn't able to tip too much due to the student production being so tight budgeted so I thought id let them know how much i appreciated the service and also the FOOD.. was SOOO good, we even had to let it sit for an hour while we were finishing a few things and it was still incredible. Great prices and amount of food.Not only was the order ready on time, but each order was 100% correct.I picked it up inside from the bartender, who's name I didn't get but he was awesome and so accommodating, making sure i had everything i needed.the kindest staff, great food, great prices.

Atmosphere was nice on a rainy night. New England Clam chowder was awful and chicken tenders so hard that I could hardly crunch through the fried coating. My partner had a Fred’s special sandwich ( which was a bunch of hard meat cubes on a Kaiser roll with cheese) and waitress asked if he wanted fries with it, not mentioning they were extra. .They cost an additional $6.00 which came as a surprise.Don’t go there for the food-maybe the drinks are OK.

Pretty and cozy place for a nice meal :) Me and my friends would always go on Thrusdays because it's half price in food and drinks! The servers were friendly and the barman also, really nice person to talk to. Never had the chance to go on friday which is karaoke night but I bet its fun (:Order the Sunrise for drinks, it was my favourite :D

I was there on super bowl Sunday. Everything was ok until I see my bills …when you order waiter ask you if you want for example …sandwich with something different is from the menu …so we switched to something else ( nothing fancy) …so we end up with extra $20 for switching ( if will be informed when I was ordering that will be extra charge???) for all of us party of 4 ( 3 switching from French fries to sweet potato fries) …so I ask before you order …that’s my point
