We love the K9 Shop! The staff is so helpful & knowledgeable. They were always willing to help me carry my order to the car after I had shoulder surgery. They know each customer & their dogs needs well, they always have answers for my questions & have made raw feeding so much easier than I thought it could be. They have a cute little photo area as well and are super dog friendly! My girl always gets lots of love and attention from the staff when I bring her in!

I cannot say enough good things about the K-9 shop. I have been using their food, treats, and supplements for over a year now. When my dog was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on his heart, the K-9 shop (Elana and owners) went above and beyond to create a meal plan for my pup including vitamins and supplements to give him the best quality of life possible. Elana continues to check on us and recommends other therapies to assist in my pups recovery. The K-9 shop has truly touched my heart; I don’t think I could ever repay them for their expertise, dedication to their customers and kindness. Thank you K-9 shop for always going above and beyond.

The K9 Shop is awesome! The staff, especially Elana, are very knowledgeable and go out of their way to help customers. They are also very generous with samples and treats for furry visitors. The prices are very competitive, especially for high quality, complete raw food. This is important because my dog Brooklyn’s rear legs were paralyzed when I adopted him, supposedly permanently. 18 months later, he’s about to begin physical therapy to hopefully learn to walk, as he’s regained feeling and movement in his back legs! Brooklyn started regaining feeling and movement after I put him on a raw diet, and I credit it as a major factor in his recovery. He also refuses to eat any kind of kibble, lol. Generously, the K-9 Shop has donated several products meant to facilitate his recovery. I’m so touched by their love of animals and their kindness.

Perfect 5 stars! I've gone only a couple of times to the store but know I'll be a customer for a very long time. I walked in with lots of questions and not sure what type of meat to feed my puppy. The amazing staff went over everything with me, answered all my questions and just couldn't be anymore helpful. The raw food is extremely good quality, a great value and also tons of option to choose from. And if you need a healthy snack for your pup, look no further! They have so many options. My puppy loves the dried chicken and duck feet. Yummy! Thank you K9 shop for being located so close to my home, so helpful and offering an amazing diet for my beloved puppy. I know he'll grow up a very healthy boy!

I want to take this time to thank the folks at the K-9 Shop in Bohemia, who provide me with a raw diet for my beloved best friend, that has greatly enhanced his quality of life and health. What also impressed me, was their caring attitude, knowledge on nutrition, and that the staff is always glad to answer your questions."Bear," my chocolate lab who is 8 years old, and who constantly suffered with skin conditions, ear infections and had developed stage one kidney disease, has been on the above diet for almost 1 1/2 years now, and the results have been very obvious. Bear has not had an ear infection, or skin problem since I switched him to this diet and his kidney disease has not progressed at all. He also, has been much more energetic and is finally at a lean healthy weight.Before I switched his diet to the K-9 Shops raw diet , I tried several other common brands over the years, but I truly believe all the over processing, unnatural additives/preservatives, and many unneeded carbs were contributing to his health issues, weight gain and lethargy. They explained to me at the K-9 Shop, that their products are fresh, natural and that it cuts out many weight gaining carbs, and that it provides the essential nutrition that your pet needs for their health.As I have found out, the proper nutrition is a major key to your best friends health and quality of life, just like it is for us!My thanks again, to the K-9 shop!Diana Fields, and Bear

K9 shop was amazing! We have our pitbull Paco on a raw food diet and we wanted to try something different in terms of raw food. So we stopped in and they had such a big selection and Jaime was SO helpful and loving to our paco. She gave us her recommendations and sound advice and opinions and overall great experience. I was a little hesitant at first to do Raw food for my dog, I always gave my dog dry food, and it always said on the bag that it was all natural with lots of vegetables and fruits, but he was always picking everything out. Once I went there, and I started to give him the raw f food he absolutely loves it. The girls were very helpful. He seems more happy and his stool is so much better. And I thought it was going to be very expensive but it’s not if you think about what you spend $60-$70 on a bag of food that you really don’t know what’s in it even though it says it’s natural this is so much better you’re spending just as much and it’s so worth it.

I absolutely love this shop! Always has the best of everything! Honestly mind blowing with the stuff they have. Elana is freaking awesome and very informative. Love this store and staff. I do believe they should enroll a membership program or rewards program just to give alil something back to their loyal customers. If anyone has time go visit the shop!

We love The K9 Shop. The staff is knowledgeable and beyond friendly, always loving on our pups and spoiling them with treats whenever we stop by. They're very generous with samples and eager to help and discuss any needs you have. Their prices are also great, especially with the frozen raw bone selection. They have products that you'd never find in a regular pet shop. A unique shop for sure!

Amazing and courteous staff! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by them, and they were knowledgeable and happy to answer all of our questions. Our dogs were ecstatic to be shown such adoration! As we browsed the store, the staff thoroughly answered any of our inquiries, and were asking permission to give our pups rewards to try and to nibble on. All in all this is one of the best pet stores on Long Island. Wide variety of food and treats available. If their vast menu doesn’t sell you on this shop the customer service will. You feel just as welcomed as your pups. Happy to support such helpful and friendly people! Can’t wait to go back.

My dogs are big allergy dogs; they saw the vet atleast 6-7 times per year. And I wasn’t sure about raw food for my dogs, since they can be picky. But after switching to the food at the K9 Shop, their coats and overall health have skyrocketed. They are much happier and more energetic, and they are two old boys (7 and 10 years old). Everyone in the store is extremely nice and helpful too. Always a great experience at the K9 Shop in Bohemia! They care about your dogs 🐶

I could go on and on about how great this place is. Jamie when I first walked in over a year ago so helpful. My boy seemed healthy but had some allergy and stomach problems and very little Appetite. Elana helped me tremendously the whole time trying everything and teaching me so much about dog nutrition. Recently Sue shared her experience with her dog which had very similar symptoms as my boy. She turned me on to a new product they will be carrying. Since that day about 6 weeks ago Titan has eaten between 4 1/2-5 lbs of food every single day and goes back to his bowl looking for more when he’s finished!! I can’t thank you enough Sue!! It’s been such a long year changing foods, vet visits medication a few times and stress thinking something was wrong with him. He is feeling and looking amazing thanks to you all!!

What an incredible place with knowledgeable and caring employees. I have been doing a lot of research about feeding my dog a diet to support his kidney disease and Briana gave me some tips that I had not come across in my own research. They had so many options for different diets, bones, food toppers and even supplements. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Jamie was SO welcoming and patient with me. I was very hesitant about raw for my pups, but Jamie answered all of my questions happily, and NEVER pushed me into making any uncomfortable transitions. I am new with feeding my dogs raw food. I started because my French bulldog has severe allergies and nothing was helping. Both times I have gone different employees have helped recommend products to help and explaining the raw food down to exact measurements to give. I have only gone 2 times and have recommended them to multiple people just based on their customer service! I will never step foot in a Petco again!

Awesome selection of Raw foods! Chicken, Turkey, Pork, Rabbit, beef, lamb, duck, fish! Meaty bones of all sorts! Very helpful and kind when needing information about how to get your dog or dogs started on what they are designed to eat! Supplements also available for pups with sensitive stomachs! Owner is very kind! Thank you K-9 Shop! My dogs and I are now forever customers! They love the food!

I have been using the K9 shop for 3 years now with my Rotty and my Sheba. In the last 2 months my Sheba started to limp and the vet said he had tested positive for limes . I started the medication and within a week he had total paralysis of his back end. We went into the K9 shop and they recommended the CBD oil they sell that it helps neurology issues as well as pain and inflammation. I give him the CBD two times a day and he is starting to go up stairs and down, he is able to start to walk and showing so many amazing strides .I will continue to give him the CBD indefinitely and I can not thank them for all of their advice and assistance . They treat us like friends instead of customers and the knowledge they have along with the care they show. Thank you guys again! Your amazing

My friend recommended I try their food and took me a couple of Saturdays ago. I spoke with Briana, who was very helpful and knowledgeable. My 11 year old Maltese-mix, Padfoot, loves their chicken and veggie patties. I have to say, their prices are a lot less than I thought they would be. They also offer delivery but if you order their frozen patties, arrange the shipment so you'll be home when it arrives so it doesn't thaw too much. Definitely ordering again from them!

I trust this shop because the owner actually goes into the facilities where the raw food is made and he makes sure its legit also they are very helpful and professional and friendly, since my dogs have been in this raw diet I cannot tell how different my dogs are, their coat is smoother and they do not smell anymore and they are much healthier and active and vet just gave me two thumbs up on their health

One of my dog was diagnosed with a liver problem. 3 months on raw feeding and my vet was shocked to tell me that his liver levels were in PERFECT range. Prior, the vet didn’t wanna neuter him bc of being put under anesthesia... we were able to to the surgery and all went PERFECT!! my baby is so happy and healthy & has lots of more energy. Everyone always compliments how soft my dogs coats are. Most importantly my dogs have never turned down a meal, they absolutely LOVE what they’re eating!!
