We saw this little place. Thought we would try something local to where we were. Ice cream was good. Good attitude for the staff. But unfortunately they were younger and as soon as it got slammed with people they had a hard time keeping up with the orders and which items were being ordered. Food was ok. Missing the "Michigan" speciality sauce that we paid extra for the glacier hot dog. Also paid extra for swiss and bacon for the burgers but we had to send the burgers back so they could put bacon on them. Onion rings and fresh cut fries were excellent. It wasn't only our ordered either. Multiple other orders were being sent back or things were being forgotten. Also 411 ONLY a port a potty. No regular restrooms.

This is a clean, peaceful, great tasting ice cream and fast food place in the middle of nowhere. It is an awesome place to sit and relax.I love places like this. Everything was tasty and what one would expect for fast food. The soft ice cream was not "too soft" and the parking lot was not too complicated to navigate. I paid no attention to the volume of the contents of the ice cream cone, because it is kids, (likely their first job) filling my four dollar cone - not 20 year veteran sales associates at a Rolls-Royce dealership.I will definitely be back.

Aug. 2021: Our first ice cream this year was good. Then it went right downhill. TOO SOFT. But mainly we have stopped going because the employees are really gipping you on the ice cream. You pay for a big waffle cone and get less than a medium amount of ice cream. Doesn't begin to fill the cone. Hollow inside and short. Just a rip off. Too bad. We used to go frequently for flavor-of-week. Thumbs down.Summer 2020: It's for sale again.. We hope they'll tell new owners to NOT do away with "flavor of the week" soft ice cream. (And continue to stay away from Crowley. Yuk. We don't go to ice cream shops which carry Crowley soft.)Radically changing the menu, blocking half the parking lot, and ending "flavor of the week" soft ice CREAM, is why the prior owner failed there after just one season.(Don't try those "24 soft flavors" ooze either.)Offer turkey burgers and dogs, and fish fillet sandwiches. Bit healthier.Steve had done well. Hope it'll pass on to good hands.

The staff was great. They had the smallest Michigans I have ever had and some of the worst sauce I have ever had. The straw that came with my shake was 1/3 the diameter of a normal straw. If it wasn't for the shake being just short of perfect, I'd have given 3 stars.

Ice cream was delicious and reasonably priced. Generous portions as well. We had a wrap which was fine, nothing crazy.

The ice cream is very good but if you're not serving french fries hamburgers you need to take it off your menu because when I went down to order some they said they're not cooking

Our family loves this place best ice cream,chicken sandwiches,an Michigan's I hope the sauce don't change with the new owner's. This is the best place around for sure.

Quick stop with burgers, hot dogs, and ice cream. Two hamburgers and some sweet potato fries (all very good) for about $20. Comfortable outside picnic tables with umbrellas.
