Somehow feel much better shopping here than their competition, over so many years. This location is often better than the east side, even better than the south side, similar to Vestal. Started going to Weis in 1967, then into the 70's at Park City Plaza, down in Lancaster PA, then later in Havre de Grace MD, and then here in the Triple Cities. Very happy with ready made fried fish, fresh fish and shellfish, being a fave from here with Matt, Charlie and Alexa cheerfully assisting me with offerings - Usually more than 15 to 20 varieties, all ready to go. Matt recommends best buys, just like he did the other day. No surprise thatthe team here sold the most seafood for lent in the entire chain ! The Fried Chicken, another example, is fresh and succulent as can be. Aisles of frozen choices, produce, meat, Dietz and Watson deli, a few Kosher selections, oh that bakery, snacks, beer, soda stock are each fine. The list here could easily go on ad infinitum.

According to some of the other reviews it seems like this store was converted from a different supermarket. Which is why I'll relinquish and give it 3 stars instead of two. It's hard to explain but this place gives off chaotic energy. The store itself is set up very strangely. The layout is confusing. Some of the aisles are narrow and then obnoxiously filled with displays that further block any kind of cart traffic. If I have to shimmy around somebody else and we are the only two there, that is a problem. For the produce area? Firstly, most of it seemed kinda icky or undesirable. Secondly, they had displays of multiple types of fruit. I do not want to touch 10 peaches to get to the plums in the same cardboard box. Strange call.Lastly, my biggest gripe with the store and the produce section...Two employees were just chattering on. Totally normal. Networking and getting along with your coworkers is important so I want to stress that isn't the issue. The issue was the seemingly homeless man who stopped me (in the fresh produce area) and asked if I wanted to see a mouse he found in the parking lot. In his hand. Sadly, the mouse looked dead and I can only assume the man was mentally ill.HOWEVER, the employees heard and saw everything and did NOTHING. Nothing to address the random grown man approaching young women, the fact he had a mouse in his bare hands, or the fact he wanted to show it off in the produce area. I know for a fact they heard and saw. So shame on them for letting such an awkward and strange interaction happen and literally turning the other way.You couldn't pay me to do my shopping here again. I'm new to the area and rather pay the extra 5% price hike at a higher end place.

Just bought this today, January 21, 2024 brought it home, tasted funny looked at the date it's been expired since September 2023! Called, spoke to Dave who could care less didnt try to make it right just simply said "I'll let produce know"? Not the first time I've bought expired products from Wei's. Management needs to do better should have offered a refund or something. Done shopping here.

I will start by saying I'm sorry I was in the store leaving at 9:09pm I was unaware it closed at nine. That is my fault. The manager on was wonderful as for the young women that was on with her disgusting attitude and just horrible human skills. I wish I caught her name but I didn't I just know the the nasty looks she gave myself and my girlfriend and son was unforgivable and snickering behind us while we were trying to use the self checkout was digrating. I will never bring my family hereagain. They are closing the wrong store

I always have a high regard for wise markets, especially for your staff,to me each employee goes out of their way to ensure my satisfaction, very friendly, caring, and no matter how busy, they will take the time to help. In this day of corporate greed ,it is nice to see that Weis markets still caters to old fashioned family values.

Was very impressed coming here. It far better than the Giant that used to be here. The store was clean and well organized. They have self check out which is nice.

When you go to Weis just wear a vendor uniform for whatever item you like, and you can walk out with a dolly full of Goodies.

DO NOT BUY THEIR MEAT! Most of their meat was out of date. I bought one that was expiring that day, and when I cooked it, the entire inside was already brown. That tells me they mix new meat with their expired meat to make it look red. Scummy practices that will get people sick

If I could leave zero stars, I would. My husband and I have been shopping at Weis on front Street in Binghamton for several years now because the Weis market on Robinson Street which is closer to where we live is just a disgusting disaster. I don’t know if this store has a new manager or what the issue is but they’re letting dogs in the store that are not service dogs. I was in there today and saw a dog in the shopping cart then there was another lady that had two dogs with her that were sniffing the produce! These clearly are not service dogs. I spoke to a cashier, she did absolutely nothing. I spoke to someone else and they contacted the manager. He looked at me like a deer in headlights . He said to me it’s not us it’s the state. This guys managerial skills are clearly lacking to say the least. Since when is it OK to put animals in shopping carts where people put their food? That is not sanitary and Weis market needs to do better. Giant market would never have allowed that , they ran a tight ship but Weis market is unbelievably lax. Then I was pretty much ridiculed by an employee when I told the woman who had her dog and dog bed in the shopping cart that it was unsanitary to do that. This employee laughed and then petted the dog! I just don’t understand it. So if I go into Weis and I see non service dogs in the store and or in shopping carts, I guess I can sue because it’s going to give me anxiety? Or I can sue because I could have an allergic reaction from using a shopping cart that a dog was in prior to me using it? Thats considered detrimental to me correct? They don’t want to be sued by somebody being told they can’t bring their dog into the store but they’d rather be sued by somebody who could be potentially petrified of dogs and have a full-blown panic attack in the store, or allergic to dogs and have an allergic reaction to a dog in their store and possibly have to go to the hospital . Which is more important? I guess the people that just want to bring their family pet to the store are more important than people who could be physically or emotionally affected by these dogs being in the store or in shopping carts. They lost long time customers because I will not go back to that store again. Wegmans only from now on.

Reasonable prices and most lanes available for self checkout. Not necessarily a broad selection of products, but not as narrow as stores such as Aldi's.

Very good help here great attitude but they keep moving products around so you have to look for them all over the place and they push you through the checkout so fast you can't hardly have time to get your cards out put them away and pack the bags too heavy. The products are good and the help trying to find them for you are good but the checkout I don't know if the manager has pushed them to do it so fast or what but it either they're under pressure or they're just very annoying and not very courteous that doesn't include every one of them but the young girls are very

I stopped shopping here because of the beggers outside with signs. They make people uncomfortable pulling in and out of the Weis. These people already get welfare from tax payers and now they are sitting in front of businesses asking for more from taxpayers. At what point does the Weis say ok we’ve gotta do something so we don’t lose customers? Until there is a change, I won’t be pulling into that parking lot nor will I shop there.

The shelves are stocked. The store appears clean and well organized. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are the usual higher priced, that you get from Weis, but it's worth it. Weis does carry the best brands of groceries.

I am baffled by how many employees stand next to registers with hands behind their backs doing nothing, while customers who want to get out of store quickly are using self check outs and bagging thier groceries. We the consumers are paying thier wages with higher prices and doing thier work! The elderly struggling as employees watch!Something certainly wrong with this picture!

Again, another grocery store who's profits far outweigh customer satisfaction. Profit over people. Only buy what you NEED, and prices will drop. No worse than any grocery store lately. No better.

Do you like groceries? Do you like hometown appeal? Well, Wies has them both, just not equally for sale.I recommend trying the take out sushi, if that's your thing, I find it to always be tasty. The baked goods department always has a cake with my name on it, especially if its chocolate and cheesecake. The meat selections are prime, and I can always find what I am looking for. Best of all, the beer selection is diverse and well priced. The food and drinks at Weis are all for sale, but the smiles and excellent customer service, those are free.

I hate the front end staff at this store all self check out one cashier their shelf check out computer sucks they only way to not have issues is to scan then bag no bagging as you go or you might as well have your front end manager standing there the whole time full service is a joke as well they will scan it but not bag it

Some staff are young distracted or plan rude. I use the self check out. The butchers are Great, and help if you need a ham ground up for Ham loaf or Marrow bones to make bone broth.

Clean and organized - 4 starsEmployee attitudes - 1 starEvery time I go here I absolutely dread the check out part. Most of the cashiers are so incredibly rude. They'll smile/be kind at everyone they know (towny people), but with people they don't (even though I always smile and greet them), they just give the nastiest face (drop the smile and either stare with a stern look or ignore and not greet back). I tried going several times thinking it was just a one off experience but it happens every single time. The positive side is that it allowed me to find Price Chopper and Aldi's. Those are our go to places now, and their prices are lower, so it worked out. But yea, I never recommend this place to anyone I talk to.

I do feel that this Weiss is neat, clean and well stocked. I have been getting the things we need with my husband there. And we have been going ither since it was called Giant. One thing that needs to be corrected. It is the obvious thoughts that women of color are in the store to entertain white men by some of the white men there. This needs to be addressed by corporate in your meetings . This steals the joy of buying groceries. Otherwise I would have given you 5 stars.
