Perhaps the staff were having an off day when I called as my experience was less than satisfactory.During my call with Joel, I inquired if the rollator I was interested in purchasing could be returned provided it was not used outside. I explained that the equipment would be used by my 89-year-old mother and her at-home physical therapist would work with her to ensure safe use.The representative informed me that it could be returned, but only within 7 days as this is their policy. I explained that I would need a few more days for the return as we are managing a multi-care schedule for my mother in addition to childcare responsibilities.Joel was insistent that the policy could not be altered, regardless of my situation as then he would have to do the same for other customers. Imagine that, actually being sensitive to the needs of your customers who have health issues where mobility and scheduling issues exist.Fortunately, I contacted UHS Home Care and they are able to be more flexible with the return, if needed. They also had the specifications of the equipment, whereas Joel at Penn-York was not sure if the rollator would be a good fit for my mother who is just a little over five feet tall.Based on the above described experience, I know I will NOT be calling Penn-York for future medical supply needs.

Arrived to look for a recliner & was there at 4:05 pm & sign says close at 4:30 pm and they were locked up tight nobody around .. wasted time and stop no easy to get there as i use a wheel chair

I really don't think this place is reputable, or at least not competent. I bought a big-ticket item here and was told that since it was a medical device there would be no sales tax. Only after the delivery people left did I scrutinize the receipt and discover I had been charged $200 in sales tax. I called a different local medical supply place that sells the same device, to make sure I hadn't been dreaming when thinking there would no tax on this device. They assured me there would not be. So I had to get back to Penn-York to have them refund the sales tax. "Gee, I can't imagine how you ended up being charged sales tax," my sales person eventually told me. I would guess either incompetence, or a hope that I would not question the sales tax, thinking I had misheard this, and everyone there could go out to dinner with that $200. He blamed it all on a computer glitch.I'd almost be willing to pay $200 just for the courtesy of not being yelled at when I called to point out that mistake."My bill is wrong. I got charged more than I was supposed to..." I began."I told you! If you paid with a credit card the price would be an additional 3.5%!" my salesman yelled before I could explain the situation."No, that’s not the problem. I was charged sales tax. I'm almost certain you told me that there would not be any tax because it was medical device.""There is no way you were charged tax!""Well, I'm looking at my receipt, and there is a box labeled 'sales tax' and that box is filled with the number 200.'"Then there was some run around where I was told first I'd get a refund check, then I was told they couldn't do that--the money would be refunded back to my credit card--and then I was told they couldn’t do that because their credit card machine didn’t work that way, so it went back to sending me a check. At one point in the conversation I said something like, "Well, before you erroneously added $200 to my bill for tax..." and the lady I was talking to said, "How dare you say we did that erroneously! It was a simple error!" I had to say, "Lady, the word 'erroneously' means 'in error'." Gee, get an SAT review book and start studying some vocabulary words.Take my advice. Deal with UHS Home-care if you need to make a medical device purchase.

I worked with Penn Medical to purchase and install 2 chair lifts in my home. They were couteous, professional and Dustin was genuinely concerned with my satisfaction in the product and how it was installed.I am very happy with the finished product having a chair lift has given me new mobility in my home and I am grateful.

When I needed a #stairlift my husband suggested I call #PennYork, "they have been around a long time" he said. When I did the reception was great! I quickly received a return call from Dylan in sales. He was not pushy, gave all of the facts and patiently answered all of my questions.When we somewhat agreed on a device he came to my home. He was gracious, took his shoes off, brought brochures, took measurements and made the process very pleasant. Even my two small dogs liked Dylan and they don't like everyone. :DI decided to take the leap and buy a chair lift from his recommendation. Dylan scheduled an installation the next day.The service man and Dylan arrived on time and in about 90mins had the stair lift installed!I couldn't believe it!Dylan took the time to demonstrate the product, walk me through the features, emergency procedures, and remotes.I then took my first ride. What a relief not having to climb my basement stairs.After Dylan and I were satisfied with the results that is when he accepted payment. How refreshing is that?The device is so quiet and it is a smooth and safe secure ride. I should call it a self reflection ride because it is so smooth and quiet you can reflect on things and meditate, it is actually soothing!If you are considering a stir lift or other device I highly recommend Penn-York.There customer service is great! and the follow up.The #Bruno stair lift is wonderful and my swollen knees are actually calming down now that I do not have to walk the stair of doom.If you are thinking bout it call them.I know how important these reviews are now a days with all of us stuck at home.So consider this review word of mouth LOL!

Last year we travelled from out of town to visit Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville. We phoned ahead and ordered the rental. When we arrived, the staff showed us how to use the scooter, and even put it in our vehicle for us. The entire process was very smooth and all of the staff were very friendly and happily answered any questions we had. I highly recommend Penn York Medical and would definitely use them again.

I bought a stairlift from here and I asked them if they would buy it back because we only needed it for 2 years. At the time of purchase they said they buy them back. Well I called and they don’t buy them back

I couldn't return a scooter I rented because of flooding. They didn't make me pay extra and even offered to meet me halfway. This is my second time dealing with these folks, and I couldn't be happier!

Very rude and unhelpful. Don't except any service from counter person if the serviceman is not there. Called ahead of time was not told he had a service call at two and he was the only person who could help. Would not recommend.

Be rude staff makes you wait hours and don’t care about helping also they are judged mental and racist we saw this staff being rude with Spanish speaking people and is unacceptable never go back to this place bow I understand why they have 3.7 in reviews
