This is the last bastion of 24/7 stores in the area. As somebody who works second shift... This CVS can do absolutely no wrong in my eyes.The current male cashiers they have are friendly enough and don't put out weirdo energy. Which, is actually very important when it's the middle of the night and you're by yourself.There is almost nowhere I can go after I get off of work (130AM) to pick up a few things. This CVS is the ONLY exception other than a select few gas stations in the area.

I had an accident at home tonight that I knew didn't require an emergency run to the hospital and my doctor's office was already closed. I called CVS on Upper Front Street which is a 24-hour store and explained the situation to them. I'm on pain medication for a different issue and I knew I needed more for the pain I have from the accident. They didn't mind my calling even though my regular CVS is elsewhere in town. They helped me at once with an answer to my question. They were compassionate, caring and completely understanding and were glad to help. I'm very grateful for the time they took with me.To CVS pharmacist and the lady with whom I spoke, thank you *so* much! This is another reason why I've been a CVS customer for more than 15 years.

I go to this location weekly to use the PayNearMe application to make payments. On 01/31/2024 Brandon, Sales Associate assisted me and he was friendly and courteous. He also assisted my wife with her purchases.

It's one of the few places you can go that's open 24/7 not the pharmacy necessarily for prescriptions but over the counter meds you know female products male products shampoo conditioners candy etc etc love my upper front Street is open 24/7

Went here today to get some resumes printed out for the job fair at Raymond's. Got there at around 8:30, didn't leave until about 9:30. The reason being? Took us about 5 minutes to figure out how to print things. We needed 10 copies of each resume, so 20 in total. The printer started printing, but stopped at 6 because the paper ran out. Waited 20 minutes just for the lady to realize that it needed paper, as she was constantly leaving the area to go do other things. Then they had a kid come and try to fill it, but he got the wrong sized paper. So then we had to wait another 20 minutes just for them to fill it. When they STILL couldn't figure it out, a "manager" came up to try and "help" by turning off the beeping noise that tells them they have orders to be printed. When we told her how long we had been waiting just to get the paper filled, she said, and I quote, "it's a 1 hour photo service", which was basically them saying they can abuse that and take as much time as they want to to do it. After we had realized that they didn't know what they were doing, and after that VERY unprofessional comment, we went to the UPS store. Took us 5 minutes to get them printed out there, and it costs 7 dollars instead of 18 at CVS. All in all, if you are crunched on time or don't want to pay so much for very poor customer service or extremely rude comments, go to the Ups store, or anywhere but CVS... Didn't get the manager's name, but she's a big girl with dark hair, still not even sure if she was actually a manger with how she was acting... If you guys don't actually want to offer the service to people, which is what they acted like, then you probably shouldn't offer it... just a tip...

Used to be a great pharmacy, now it’s always a hassle. From my medications being put back after getting them a day later after they’re filled, no one answers the phone (I type this after I’ve been on hold for 40 mins and disconnected once!), they don’t have medications in stock and everyone is pretty incompetent. Will be switching

Great customer service employees that care. This one employee she must be new her name was Grace was sweet kind and caring she took the time to help me pick out the perfect blush color as I have difficulties with certain colors. She was patience and kind and seemed like she was glad to be there! Definitely will be returning to this store!

Always been my go to pharmacy with the only issue being wait times, especially the drive thru. I’ve waited almost 45 minutes in the drive thru on numerous occasions with there being just a few cars ahead. Also inside can be iffy with wait times too but not nearly as bad as drive thru.

This store's pharmacy has been really failing in the customer service area lately. I, in person, dropped off my mother my mother's cancer related prescriptions to be picked up the next day at 9:30 am. Here we are at 1pm the next day she is in terrible pain now due to running out of meds and they still don't have her meds ready for her. They have been saying "they will be ready soon" for the last 3 hours! Seeing my mother in pain that could have been easily avoided makes me angry. Cvs needs to take care of business and do better business if they want to KEEP my BUSINESS.UPDATE 1/2023: On 3 different occasions now we have received an automated call notification that prescriptions are ready for pick up. I make a special trip to the store later that day or the next, wait in the line, and get informed that they are not ready yet, but they can be expedited if I want to wait 15 minutes. I end up waiting around for an hour before they are finally ready. I STRONGLY recommend NOT using this pharmacy. They don't care about my time or my business. They won't care about your's either.

If you like waiting on the phone to speak with someone or for your prescriptions then this is the place for you. There is no sense of urgency at this pharmacy. Because of the long wait at the pharmacy and on the phone. I had to call another cvs just to get the prescription transferred while I was still on the phone with this one. I wouldn’t go here for an aspirin.

After having major surgery I changed my medications to the cvs store on upper front street and then received a call from my surgeon office stating that they had called in my medications and I called the pharmacy only to be left on hold for 20 minutes and then had my son drive me there to wait in line for yet another 10 minutes and to be served by a woman who was not pleasant at all to state well they have to get a prior authorization from the office and by this time the office is closed. My other pharmacy did not need to get it I guess from now on I’ll just stick with friendlier people and faster service

I went to the ER last night and they sent in a script for a medicine, I went to CVS at 2am and the pharmacist said he couldn't fill the script because they were missing an ingredient that it would be filled this afternoon. Someone called me and left a message saying they can't fill it at this location so I called them back and they said they can fill it but the night pharmacist has to do it. I am in a lot of pain and come to find out when I went in at 2am that lazy pharmacist could fill it and they did have the ingredients so now I have to wait until tonight. That pharmacist should be ashamed of himself knowing i am In a ton of pain

Been unhappy with this pharmacy for awhile. Recently I have seen many other customers in line upset with the attitude and indifference of the pharmacy staff as well. And the staff just responds with snobby indifference, and then complains about the customers after they leave. Very unprofessional. Well today they were complaining about us bc after standing at the there drop off for a while while the tech was on the phone, are didn't even acknowledge us when she hung up, just went on to other things after glaring at us.At Wegmans now. They are better.

Sale associates were very friendly. It's wonderful to see a place open 3rd shift after covid changed the world. Thank u CVS, u are appreciated by all who have anxiety around a lot of people and people who can't sleep at night as well as the rest.

Everytime I come to this location there is ONE cashier. And the line is backed up to half the store. God forbid you use self checkout and have an issue you will be waiting 10 minutes! It’s ridiculous get some more help for Christ sakes it’s enough to drive a person nuts trying to come in and out for a purchase!!!

The only reason I am putting a star is because I have to in order to leave a review. I have had the most difficult time getting my prescription refilled for my dog who is very sick. When I spoke to the pharmacy on the phone I kept getting cut off and they were extremely rude and unprofessional. I was evacuated from Florida due to Hurricane Micheal and I am not from here. I was simply looking for help as to how to make things flow as smooth as possible. They were extremely unkind. If you can avoid going to this specific CVS please do. The experience was very disheartening.

Overnight pharmacist refused to fill my prescription. He claimed the hospital told him to cancel it because the prescribing doctor didn’t exist. We called the hospital and verified that they never did that, and that the prescription was still open. The pharmacist then deleted my prescription from the system so no one else could fill the order. Not sure what this guy has against helping the sick, but he should probably find another line of work. We will definitely be filling our prescriptions with Wegman’s from now on.

ER called in prescription around 2:00 in the afternoon and at 5:00 I was told it was going to be another hour. I live 20 minutes away, wasn't waiting and certainly was not driving back. Thank you CVS for allowing my husband to be in pain in all night! Maybe you need to hire more people or get people in there that can do there jobs efficiently!

The day staff is great the night staff not so great. They lost my entire account I have all my medications do and they’re in process yet I don’t have an account? Really frustrated I will change my review when they fix the issue I can’t believe how they didn’t even look for medications left me on hold for 20 minutes I called back and then the reason they left me on hold was out we couldn’t find your names you let me sit there listening to elevator music? Go after yourselves

Son had surgery, hospital called in pain meds, was promised by 3:45, we arrived was told it would be 15 min, waited and waited , I asked if we could get at least 1 pill as his meds from the hospital was wearing off, when they checked it had been ready earlier, it was now after 5 oclock, we would have been home by now as it is a 30 min drive. Pitiful service, will never use this pharmacy again.

Sitting in the drive through with two small children for over a half hour with two cars in front of you is absolutely insane. The slowest service ever. It doesn’t matter when, what day, what time .. it is always a ridiculous wait.

Horrible Service! They Profile people before giving them there medications! Very Racist,Rude, and Unprofessional. Went in there for my Meds, and because of the way I was dressed, the Pharmacist refused to accept my payment, refused to listen to my doctor's office, and then put in there system to refuse my meds! Horrible Service, Unprofessional, and Racist! I will be talking to a Higher up about this! Definitely don't go here

Put in to have my Rx filled to be picked up 4 hours later. Show up a half hour after the scheduled pick up time and it wasn't even put together and ready to go. Now sitting and waiting for it to be filled another 20 minutes. Pretty sure this is why I called ahead. To avoid this.

I called earlier my medicines and process I call now they can’t find my profile they didn’t answer the phone for 20 minutes let me on hold and your excuse was well we couldn’t find your profile so you don’t come back to tell me? Went to print some photos at the "do-it-yourself" photo kiosk. I asked one of the employees for help and she told me that something couldn't be done (that I later figured out for myself could be done} and then she quickly dismissed me "to attend to another customer". Note to employee: If you don't know what you're doing, either say so or get help from someone who does. Note to manager: Customers don't care much if your employees are pretty. They care more that they're competent.

Long lines no help staff that does not care about customers. Always miss place meds. Never less than a 20 minutes wait.PLEASE PEOPLE GO TO PRICE CHOPPER 2 MINUTES DOWN THE ROAD GREAT SERVICE NO LINES NICE STAFF.
