Our dog has been attending Dogtopia 1x a week since she was 4 months old. She has come home with a couple of puncture wounds here and there due to rough play, which I understand happens from time to time. She plays rough and is still very puppy like. Considering our overall pleasant experience, we decided to board her for 9 nights while we went on vacation. I checked in on her throughout our time away, and the staff was very responsive and even sent pictures of her, too! The cameras in the facility are definitely an added piece of reassurance and allowed me to peak in on her throughout our vacation.I recently picked her up and she was happy, but also completely unphased by my arrival, which to me, says so much! All her belongings were returned to us just as we had delivered them. In speaking with the staff, I could tell they really care for her. They gave me plenty of details regarding how she did during her stay. It is such a relief to know that our pup is taken care of when we can’t be with her. I will definitely be using them again!

Unfortunately my dog was bitten by a dog that had bitten 2 other dogs. This dog was allowed to stay with the other dogs. This facility knowing the problem dog only had one handler with at least 10 dogs in the room. I bring my dog there with some confidence these dogs are not aggressive. I can understand once but three times???

Unfortunately I do not having many, if any, kind things to say about my experience.My dog stayed at Dogtopia for 9 days, during his stay he was never provided with his bed or blanket that we left with him at drop off. I know this because at pickup the incorrect items were brought out to us, after saying that was the wrong stuff the correct stuff was brought out and we were told "oh we didn't know who this belonged to" and it had a piece of tape on it with DogName???. They could have called us and asked what his items looked like.When picking him up, he was standoffish and exhausted but we chalked it up to him playing more than he typically does for 9 days. He fell asleep immediately when he got into the car, woke up to walk in the house, and stayed asleep until the next morning. He woke up the next day with a runny nose and goopy eyes. Our dog continued to be exhausted for the next 48 hours, including the other symptoms of runny nose and goopy eyes. Finally came the labored breathing, cough, and reverse cough.We took our pup to the vet where he was prescribed antibiotics to treat kennel cough. After our dog being home and sick for 3 days, the two other dogs from the household started showing the same symptoms and got brought into the vet to be treated. They were also diagnosed with kennel cough.After getting a diagnosis, I called Dogtopia to let them know that our dog that stayed with them has been diagnosed with kennel cough so they could inform other dogs that he was in contact with. Of course a sick dog is upsetting, but things happen you cannot avoid all illnesses its just like kids getting sick at school!Besides being sick, he is extremely skiddish and standoffish since returning home from his boarding stay. Prior to his stay he was active and outgoing.They reply we got is why this review is SO negative. The managers and owner BOTH told us on various phone calls that "No dog has ever gotten sick from our establishment", "Your dog was probably sick before he came", "Your other dogs probably got him sick" etc.There was little to no care about how our dog was/is doing, there was a strong refusal to cover our vet bill, and just a complete denial for any responsibility.I will never recommend Dogtopia to anyone for the lack of compassion or accountability.

The staff is amazing! They took time to explain the process answered all our questions in detail. Our doggo had a super fun time! He didn't want to leave after just his first few hours for the meet and greet!! They have a camera for you to look in anytime. We will be sending him weekly and plan to board him when we need it. The facility is well maintained and secure. They are also opening a secure outside area for the doggies to play in the summer. Def recommend this place!

Our pup LOVES it here. They are so accommodating and there’s always someone in the room watching over the pups and playing with them. The facility is very clean. Our picky girl doesn’t even look back when we drop her off! And in addition to the webcams they send pictures!

My dog is always greeted with a friendly welcome and she happily goes into daycare with the staff. I also appreciate that there is a shorter wait time than other daycares when I pick her up. She is happy and exhausted when she comes home. In the past at other daycares, she would come home a little stinky but that has not happened and she always seems well taken care of. I also really like being able to watch her on the camera while she is there so that I know that she is OK.

We were taking our dog to Camp Bow Wow in Hicksville until we ran into a few upsetting issues with them. We have since switched Dogtopia in Bethpage and couldn't be happier so far!We have a Vizsla, and he is a high-energy dog. Our previous day care kept putting him in the crate because of his energy. We check in regularly at Dogtopia and ALWAYS see him out playing with other pooches. It's very clear that the people at Dogtopia love our dog and care about him, and that couldn't mean more to us.We very highly recommend this place for day care and overnight stays, especially if you have a high-energy pup like ours (if you don't, they have rooms where lower-energy dogs are comfortable). So far, we have nothing but great things to say, and we've been going here for weeks now! Very happy with this place!UPDATE: It has been a few months that we've been taking our dog here now, and the place just seems to get better and better.We were concerned that the staff would lose interest in our dog after our experience at Camp Bow Wow in Hicksville. However, they seem to love him more and more as we continue to go. They know he loves bubbles, so they play bubbles with him and invited him to their bubble day. I also hear them talking about how playful he is and how much they love that he gets other dogs to play.After several months, we're STILL enamored with Dogtopia and will continue trusting them with our pup (a HUGE deal for us) for many more to come.EDIT: We're still thrilled with Dogtopia of Bethpage, and our opinion of them has not changed in the slightest. They still LOVE our dog and treat him so, so well. I had to jump in here to add something, though. Our pup injured his hip (unrelated to Dogtopia!) and can't play or exercise for a few months. I called and asked if we could cancel our subscription for now. The manager sent over a cancellation form. I forgot to send it back, and they CALLED ME TO REMIND ME to send it!! Not only do they care about our dog, but they care about US more than they do our money. More than ever, I recommend Dogtopia of Bethpage! We won't send our pup anywhere else for daycare or overnight stays!

Our Bella loves it here. We took her last year and initially I wasn’t that happy but it seems like they revamped the whole system and have some great, friendly people working with our pups. I’ve tried another popular doggy daycare and I’m my opinion, this place has them beat. You can watch them on the camera and the staff is friendly and communicative. If I can’t see how many dogs are in the room, or even monitor how my dog behaves, I wouldn’t feel comfortable . She jumps out of the car when we pull up so I think she’s happy.

My dog was bit while in day care for less than 5 hours. I only got a phone call back when I posted on social media. Terrible customer service-denied my dog was bit there-said they have magical other cameras that capture everything that I wasn’t allowed to see. A little suspicious no? Finally when manager called me back a week later she told me “we don’t pay for vet bills so I don’t know what you’re looking for here”. I sat in animal hospital for hours $$$$ never was offered even a refund for my “evaluation” that day. Don’t send your dog here unless you want a headache and aggravation for weeks to come.

The staff is terrific. Our dog, Tucker LOVES this place! He jumps out of the car and runs right in. We love that he is getting exercise and learning how to socialize with other dogs. He goes 2x a week and we’ve boarded and groomed him here too. We are very happy customers! Highly recommend them!

WARNING!! Do not take your dog here. Read all reviews on Yelp, and Glassdoor (past employees admit through reviews they are instructed to lie to pet parents, not disclose if their dog was attacked). Only given one star as required by Google.We normally take our pooch to another doggy day, but due to the holiday weekend and needing to travel out of state for a family emergency we decided to try Dogtopia of Bethpage.We were lured in by the sense of security with the cameras and the staff. This was our biggest mistake.When we picked up our dog same day a little bit before close, we were advised that our dog received scratches and protocol required they "wipe it with a cloth" and "place liquid skin" on the area. I asked if our dog required basic first aid why were we not informed and called. I was told it was protocol, and the scratches were small.Once we saw our dog, I informed the front desk woman that this was not a scratch, but a laceration and we should have notified immediately. Our dog was fearful and wreaked of urine. She had deep lacerations on the pads of her paws, they were ripped, bloody and red. I further inquired how this could happen if dogs were constantly supervised. She had no answer and only offered to have a manager call me back on Monday.After some additional calling I eventually received a call. The manager could only apologize and said our dog was injured during rough play. I again inquired how can there by rough play if all dogs are being supervised? Also, how did the pads of her paws get shredded and torn up. No answer was provided. Clearly the manager could not tell what happened and had no answers. I told her "sorry" was not sufficient and it was not good enough.Our dog could not walk properly for two days following her visit. We had to keep her paws bandaged.Please note we had requested several times to have access to access to watch while we were away and check in. It was not provided. They have also not provided the footage after the fact.I have requested a call from the owner of the franchise three times and the owner has not returned my call.

This place is amazing! It is spacious and clean. Staff is sooo friendly and great with the dogs! I love that the dogs get to place all day and late into the evening. Also, staff is there overnight with the dogs boarding. The BEST! I love the staff, the facility, the hours, the services - all of it! The dedication of the staff is amazing and extremely unique. My dog was boarding there over Christmas when the facility had an issue with the heat. The staff kept me fully informed as they carefully moved each dog to another facility. I will never forget this, and it just reinforced how amazing they are at the Bethpage facility! Kudos to your staff!!! And just as a point of reference, I have used other Dogtopia facilities and Bethpage is the BEST by far! I refer them to anyone who asks about daycare of boarding. I love the hours of daycare and the webcams.

My dog had been going for a month or so now and it had been great! Today I was informed my 6 month old puppy would be moved into the big dog room due to her size. Ok… However, as I watched the cameras I saw the other dogs were much bigger than her and didn’t seem to keen on a puppy in the room.I watched her get nipped, pushed into the wall by bigger dogs, and her running away stressed and scared. No one stopped it.I called and asked to have her moved back to small room as size and temperament should be considered (at her meet and greet she was labeled shy and timid). I was then told very rudely she would be moved today but needed to get used to the other room and she plays “violently”. This was never mentioned and then denied at pickup. And the other dogs who made my dog afraid aren’t playing “violently”??This is one of the more expensive dog daycare around (with and up charge for EVERYTHING!!) and they can’t take the time to open their third room to place dogs by size, age, and temperament. Very disappointed and saddenedWorst part is when I got home I found a piece of their rubber mat on stuck on her paw and dried blood on her ear. Can’t say 100% it was from there. But my suspicions say yes..

My dog absolutely loves this daycare! The staff are so attentive and love my dog like their own. We love how safe they are about vaccines and testing the dogs before they can play. Highly recommended for any crazy pup!

Amazing place to have your dog boarded, for daycare & grooming! This is the FIRST time my dog WAS NOT in a cage for the whole day while at boarding too!!!!!! They have cameras where you can check in on your dog to see what they're doing when they're open & that gives you peace of mind. AND they are honest about how much your dog eats by logging everything. Been going here for a year and could not be happier with my experience with the staff & my dog to get some socialization. I know go to the regular vet for medical stuff & Dogtopia for everything else! Wish I found them sooner.

This Place is amazing! I have been bringing my dogs almost every morning since the day they opened. Every morning my dogs run down the stairs and go crazy at the door knowing they are going to doggy daycare. Everyone is awesome, friendly and takes great care of the dogs. The place is always so neat and clean. It’s very reassuring knowing I can open up the app and watch the cameras to see my dogs running around and having the time of their lives. Kelsey is absolutely amazing My dogs light up when they see her, she cares for my dogs as if they were her own! Sam is amazingly friendly, welcoming and helpful at the front desk. Katie the manager is super friendly and is super knowledgeable on the wellness, training and caring for dogs. 100 out of 10 I will never bring my dogs anywhere else.

I was initially drawn to Dogtopia for its camera access and cleanliness. We went in for a Meet in Greet at 10:30 finished at 11 and decided to let her stay. Not even two hours later, I receive a phone call that my dog was injured during “rough play.” She had a deep puncture wound that warranted an ER visit. Upon further questioning, I found out no one was supervising the room. It wasn’t until she was bleeding that they realized what had happened and looked through the footage and declared it “not an attack, rather rough play.”When a new dog is introduced to the group more supervision would be necessary to avoid things like this. From the beginning, I was not able to access the cameras. I called multiple times to make them aware of the error message I kept getting when trying to log in which was never resolved. They will not provide the footage or pay for the vet bill. I left the place with my poor dog traumatized and with hundreds of dollars in vet bills. Of note, she’s been to other daycares and always goes to dog parks without any issues. I do appreciate the honesty of them calling me to tell me, calling me to check on Chai while she was in the ER, and not having to pay for the meet and greet fee. I would not be bringing Chai back due to safety concerns and lack of supervision. Considering this is one of the more expensive days cares, I expected more.

At first We loved dogtopia for our pupThen there was missed feeding, over use and timeout for over twenty mins, some more missed feedings, double charged no refund and forget trying to get in touch with a manager. Incompetent front desk who do not know how to handle customers. Also make sure to watch your pup on camera my boyfriend caught some stuff being missed by the staff in the rooms! Disturbing !!! I left a message the first few times for call to rectify situations, never heard a word. Now houndstown it is!

Our dog was having issue when I took him grooming at Petsmart. My boyfriend told me to check out Dogtopia and I did when they opened. A guy named Zach answered and explained to me what they were offering. Our dog has gone there three times and continues to enjoy going; transitions well from myself to whoever is at the front desk. Staff there is super friendly and willing to hear you out, especially when you’re feeling anxious. They treat Toby with such great care and seem to really enjoy seeing him for his appointments!

The Cleanliness all throughout the facility is amazing and the attentiveness that is given to each and every dog is wonderful to watch. The cameras are an added bonus too. I definitely recommend Dogtopia in Bethpage to each and every dog owner. 10/10

I cannot recommend Dogtopia of Bethpage enough! I was so nervous sending my rescue to doggie daycare for the first time, but our experience has been so smooth and enjoyable. Every one of the staff members that we've met has been so friendly and professional, and it's clear they love what what they do. They are always happy to answer questions and provide more info. The facility is brand new and super clean. I feel so at ease dropping off my dog knowing that he's about to have a fun day with people who care for him like their own.

BEWARE. If you're looking to send your dog off to a fight club, then this is the place.It originally started off great with the first few visits, but then... we get a call saying that some dog randomly lashed out and attacked our pup out of nowhere--puncturing his leg and drawing blood across his face and body.Their "trained" staff let this dog fight go on long enough for this to happen and won't show us the camera footage, won't claim any responsibility, won't communicate with us, has a manager that's always conveniently unavailable to talk next steps...etc.They literally washed their hands of the whole situation. Thankfully our dog survived the attack. But it makes you wonder of the risk and validity of their staff assessments before they allow a dog to board with them.if you look at the other negative reviews you will find a former employee actually proving my claim.

My pup tails start wagging as soon as we pull into the parking lot!! He loves Dogtopia and enjoys his time there. It’a great they have cameras and you can watch your pup play all day. Prices are reasonable and we’ll worth every penny. I drive 40 minutes to drop my pup off, passing multiple doggy daycares lol. It’s worth the drive and I feel very confident leaving my pup there.

Dogtopia staff has done an amazing job and making my dogs and myself feel super comfortable. I love that you can see the dogs on camera so you know what they’re doing.Two of my dogs attend Dogtopia. One of them is super anxious and always has been. Bad separation anxiety and just not good around new people very suspicious of everything and everyone. The staff has done an AMAZING job at making him feel comfortable to the point when we pull up to the door he sprints out of the car and can’t get in fast enough.Thank your for all that you do in keeping our dogs safe!!!

Brought my Callie there today for an evaluation and a first time meet/greet. Everyone was beyond friendly and accommodating. From front desk to playroom staff and manager. I admit I watched on camera a bit and she had an amazing time. Best of all they took good care of her and I trusted them with her. Picked her up and she is happy, smiling and best of all for a puppy TIRED. Thanks Dogtopia of Bethpage. Will definitely be back soon.

My baby, Harli Cooper, loves Dogtopia. She gets excited when we pull into the parking lot and comes home exhausted. The staff is wonderful. I visited a few other locations but Dogtopia is by far the best. For starters, the rooms are huge, clean and the webcam is a HUGE PLUS. 🐶❤️

First time using Dogtopia- the staff are very pleasant and knowledge. Got a tour of the facility and answered all of my questions. Everything was explained clearly. My dog had a great time there, and I was able to watch him play via the webcams they have.
