Very caring doctor took care of my cat, who had something stuck in the back of her tongue and almost down her throat. I was frantic and he was just so easy going. My cat is as good as new now. The prices were very fair and he was very honest, he will definitely be my new best

Dr. Steven Agoston is my recommendation 100 percent. I have had numerous experiences with him. To us he seems like a good old fashioned Vet, who uses his knowledge to diagnose the most obvious problem first. That's the way it should be. He preformed two surgeries on "Sherlock" who was 15 at the time. Sherlock went on to live 2 more enjoyable years after that! We will always be grateful.

Joe and Steve are doing some wonderful things and I’m just like driving upstate just to see them from nyc they even Mail me my medication for my dog coco overnight Who does that anymore or to many they even wait for me wen I’m running late in traffic That’s a dedicated person who loves animals I could go on and on and on yeah I never find a nicer person oh really cares about you any animal

Years ago my dad took our family dog to Animal clinic and had great experience. Last Sunday I took my dog to Animal Clinic in Bethel New York. The vet was professional and kind. I truly enjoyed my experience there. He did not force all of the typical nonsense that other vets due such as a million tests and vaccines. I went in with my concerns in regards to my Black Lab. He listened and was so nice to talk to the whole time. He addressed the issue immediately without any hesitation. I plan on making this our primary vet for our dogs. He did not overcharge. He truly cares for animals. Highly Recommend!!!

Dr. Agoston is a kind, gentle veterinarian. I have been taking all of my pets to his clinic for the last 12 years, and I have had 6 cats & 2 dogs. His office is friendly and calm - my pets love him. He does not do unnecessary surgeries and is thorough in his care. I can only say his clinic is excellent, and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Huge thank you from my fiancé and I to Dr. Steven Agoston Was so informative and professional, and great with my fur child. You can tell he has a great connection with animals. Pricing was decent, environment was cozy unlike most clinics. Cubby even still liked him after his shots. I think we found cubby’s permanent veterinarian. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a clinic Thats professional yet cozy and not overpriced and gives great service. If i could rate more than 5 stars I definitely would.

This vet has saved the lives of my pets several times and keeps my dogs healthy. He is a real pro with excellent canine/feline bedside manner and a tremendous amount of knowledge; his diagnosis is always right. Very reasonable prices as well. Has also put several pets to sleep at the end of their lives for my family.

Had to see Dr Agoston during our stay in white lake for an emergency...our baby Lilly (lab 2 years old) hurt herself while vacationing and he examined her last min after hours when no one around had availability. He was so kind and knew right away what it was. We all left feeling better knowing she was ok and would highly recommend this vet!!!!

My kitten had an eye infection. I've never used this Vet before but he took us right away and didn't charge us a huge amount for the visit. He also gave us dewormer and flea medicine for my kitten as well as my other cats. Very friendly atmosphere. The Dr was very gentle. I will be using this vet for all of my animals from now on.

The veterinarian, Steven Agoston, is wonderful. He seems to really care about everyone he deals with, both people and the pets they bring. I use to go to the T.A.R.A. van for my cats to be spayed/neutered but wanted something that felt more personal. When I was worried about one of my cats being sick, I called and told him what was happening and he told me to get her to see someone asap. He ended up taking time that same day to see her and everything he gave me to help her get back to good health worked. I ended up going back to him for the spay as well. I highly recommend using him as a vet.

Dr. Agoston has treated my dogs now for years. He is an extremely attentive and compassionate vet. He has treated most issues with my animals, and on the rare occasion when he was not able, he sent me to a proper specialist. Highly recommend!

Really upset with my experience here and I wish the 5 star reviews didn't get me to choose this vet.Brought in my older dog because of limping and stiffness in the joints. The vet himself is very lovely and polite face to face. We vocally agreed it could just be arthritis causing the issues and he quickly gave me samples of Rimidyl. The does he recommended didn't seem to be effective so I called and he said we should up the dose to a pretty high 4 tabs of 100mg a day. I did start to see a bit of difference so we decided to keep it up.I purchased a two month supply directly from him and it was $$$ not cheap. The dog seems to be improved, but still not back to her usual self. I chalked this up to age because the vet didn't think it could be anything else. I attempted to get the prescription sent to a company so I could get the generic at a reasonable price *this is where things go wrong* the person who I spoke with (Joe) told me they would not release the prescription because the vet would not make any money on it... I started to think back to the appointment where he's giving out sample for thing right and left and asking if my dog not present needed anything prescribed.Upset that they wanted me to pay for this out of pocket I took to a local lost and found pet Facebook group in the area for advice. This vet is apparently known for over prescribing medicine directly from him!!I took my dog elsewhere and she has Lyme's disease!!!! This all could have been avoided with a simple blood test that should have been done to check for Lyme and kidney function before prescribing such a heavy dose of anti inflammation medication.I was happy to do non invasive treatment on a dog, but this could have be easily avoided. Honestly, take your dog elsewhere if you need a proper diagnosis. I feel like I was deceived by how nice he is and in the end my dog is suffering and over prescribed meds that could hurt her in the long run.

Doctor Agoston was great with my dog. He didnt rush the visit and spent plenty of time with us. He offered options to consider without pressure. For the first time my dog liked going to the vet and she almost didnt want to leave! I would definitely recommend Dr Agoston.

Dr.Steve is the greatest animal doctor around.we brought our cat there on her deathbed and he gave her care that saved her life.Dr.Steve was there for us during the hardest part of a pet lovers life.and he was available at 930pm.he is a true saint in my book.and I am 52 and paid for my 1st house with funds I made working at several animal hospitals in another state.cats or dogs Dr.Steve is kind and knows his stuff and keeps learning.his prices are 1/2 of some other area vets.out in the sticks it pays to get to the closest place and fast as you can go to Bethel Animal Clinic.Dr.Steve is really GREAT.
