I swung through for the eclipse, and Rachel&Bryce opened their doors to me (before opening time), introduced themselves, their friends, and their wonderful dogs, all before 10am!! 100% I will visit again! They have a small 9hole course, carts and light play, very affordably. The town is small and quaint and beautiful! It looks just like the New England style lake town you might imagine. It happens to be an easy drive and there are so many things to do outside nearby! I hope to see my friends again soon and I recommend the Bloody Mary!

I must say Bemus Point Tap House always manages to amaze me!! So honored that they hosted my daughters brunch bridal shower and Bro-dal Shower! Ladies where inside and gentlemen were setup out on the deck. They fulfilled all of our needs, catered to dietary restrictions, yummy buffet to fit all of our requests, and even a mimosa bar! They allowed us to decorate as needed. Jessie and kitchen staff did an amazing job and made the day the Adventure it needed to be! THANK YOU

Very nice place. Decent food. Only three stars because I wasn't very impressed with the food. It was just fine. Overall, probably one of the better golf course restaurants I've been to. Great selection of beers and decent prices. Ambiance is mediocre but the place is very clean.

Lovely Sunday brunch sitting outside on the porch. Great eggs Benedict and home fries. We were really well taken care of by the servers. I'd like to visit again and try more of the menu.

Never disappointed with our time spent here! Delicious food, quick and friendly service, and a welcoming environment. We love to start every meal off with delicious and crisp brussel sprouts, and can always end it with a yummy, sweet dessert. Fresh cut fries never fail as a tasty side, and you can’t go wrong with tacos, burgers, salads, fish fry, or really anything else on the menu. Definitely a local favorite any time of the year!

My family and I were visiting Chautauqua Lake, and heard Bemus Point Golf Course had good food. People in our group ordered the following. Burgers, chicken wing pizza, shrimp salad, cauliflower app, boneless wings, beers, cocktails, amongst other things that I can’t recall. It’s been a couple weeks since we visited. Let me start by saying our server, whose name I can’t recall, was great. She was very attentive and pleasant. The food on the other hand, was a totally different story. My wife’s shrimp salad was the most depressing looking salad I have ever seen. It was literally a bowl of iceberg lettuce, and 3 or 4 tiny flavorless pieces of shrimp. It tasted worse than it looked. My son ordered boneless wings, like he often does. They were as hard as rocks. He didn’t come close to finishing them, and that is a first. My burger was average. Tasted like a frozen patty, but the fries were the talk of the table. Completely soggy. Not even at touch of crisp. Awful. How can you not make a French fry?? Lastly, the chicken wing pizza was the grossest item on the table. Sloppy, soggy, with some dried out pieces of chicken fingers, not wing meat on it. The beers and cocktails were fine, and again, the server was awesome. Nice looking, clean restaurant. I live in Las Vegas, NV and the prices were comparable to Vegas prices, but the food quality did not even come close to justifying the price. Will not return on our next visit.

Ordered curbside Street Tacos and the Burrito Bowl with Southern Tier Beer to go as well as dessert. Food was great! The shrimp had a great grilled flavor and the carne Assad steak was tender! Service was fast and the staff met us outside when we arrived. They were so thankful for our business during this time. We will be back!

I opted for the grilled salmon, and it was simply delicious. The fish was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying vegetables were fresh and flavorful.One thing that really stood out to me was the selection of craft beers on offer. The Bemus Point Golf Club and Tap House has an impressive array of brews, including several from local breweries. I tried the IPA from Southern Tier Brewing Company, and it was one of the best I've ever had.Overall, I highly recommend the Bemus Point Golf Club and Tap House to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a great atmosphere. The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the beer selection is unbeatable. If you find yourself in Bemus Point, NY, be sure to give this restaurant a try!

Love sitting on the deck, which overlooks the golf course. The food is good but the prices are too much for what you get. The fresh cut fries were smaller than my pinky finger. The onion petals were $9 for just a handful, and I got charged $.50 for a side of mayo. On the plus side, you do get free refills on your ice tea & lemonade. 2 sandwiches, onion petals, & 2 beverages (non alcohol) check was $60

Enjoyed an afternoon of golf here. If you go, be sure to bring your own balls and tees. A group of ladies walked in for lunch and they found out only dinner was served on that day, so I would recommend making food service hours clear. The cashier really didn’t know what they were doing ringing my partner up for a drink either. Overall, decent course for a enjoyable afternoon after getting back on the course.

When in Bemus Point, I highly recommend you enjoy drinks and dinner at the Tap House! The venue is beautiful overlooking the golf course. And the inside is very tastefully decorated and extremely clean. The wait staff is courteous, respectful, and pleasant. We had several changes to our order and it was delivered correctly and in a timely fashion. Our meals were very flavorful and cooked perfectly. My husband enjoys a glass of wine with dinner but I really enjoy a cocktail that is a bit lighter in alcohol which they make perfectly when asked. We enjoy the camaraderie with the wait staff and frequently the owners. Very special place to enjoy dinner!

We found the golfing absolutely fabulous here We have played on virtually every course in the region and we all agree that this is our favorite. The Tap House food was excellent and has a fun atmosphere . We plan on many outings here in the future.

I’ve been going to the golf course for dining for several years. This place is amazing. The food is exceptional. The staff works very hard at making our dining experience a very nice and comfortable one. I have taken a lot of friends and family members there and have always had a great experience. I highly recommend going there for dinner, lunch, or their brunch. I have recommended this place several times and I will keep doing so. Thank you Bemus Point Golf Course for doing a great job, and having a wonderful place to go and dine locally.

Very nice place, clean and smells nice with friendly staff. We did not try the food this evening but had beverages. Local Souther Tier Distillery spirits on hand along with local craft beers. Southern Tier Vodka and Titos are considered well here. Special parking area for snowmobiles with designated area for helmets and such. Also clean unique men's room 👍🏻

One of the best gems in Chautauqua County. This place is constantly adding to their menu seasonally to keep things upbeat and delicious. Year round I love the burrito bowl or a burger. In the summer I love the Taphouse salad and in the winter I go for the cottage pie. Their specials are always super good and worth a try as well. The best kept secret about this place is probably the craft cocktails. There is immense detail and thought put into each and every one and there is something for everyone! They are diverse and will entice your pallet guaranteed if you like sweet, dry, classic or modern; I promise there’s a cocktail that will amaze you! Definitely check this place out any time of the year and you won’t be sorry.

Great beers on tap. I had a fried chicken Po boy that was very good along with some tater tots that were perfectly done. There was a vegetable beef soup on the menu that hit the spot on a somewhat chili evening as well.The wait staff was quick and friendly and very attentive as well.

One word: Excellent! The location, the atmosphere, the service, the food, the beer, the cocktails, the golf course....All Excellent! The perfect place for friends and family. The Friday Night Baked Crunchy Haddock is a must-have! Unique and incredibly delicious. Other favorites are their signature pizzas, mouthwatering burgers, and the burrito bowl. Highly recommended for the all-around experience.

This place is seriously outstanding. Great food, great service and great ambiance. This is hard to find in a small town but Bemus Point Taphouse has figured it out. Everything I’ve had so far on the menu has been delicious and they treat you like family. Of course, great variety of beer on tap. You will not be disappointed.

7/31/22 Update - like everywhere else, the prices have increased substantially since my original review 5 star review. The unadvertised 3% credit card surcharge was not appreciated either. I believe that this change might be new within the last week so they probably just didn't have a chance to add a disclosure of the surcharge to the menu yet. Still a diverse menu with a great draft beer selection.Original review - Diverse menu and excellent selection of draft beer with 20 taps! You wouldn't know you're at CHQ with the reasonable pricing.
