Usually we shop at a Home Depot closer to home, but whenever our local store doesn't have an item in stock, this location usually does. The store is clean and the staff is extremely helpful without being condescending. (as a woman, I often find this not to be the case at other Home Depot locations). Specifically Jay and Sal were very helpful. Other employees we walked past either asked us if we needed help or just pleasantly greeted us.

0 stars if it was an option cause the work environment at this location is absolutely terrible . Management abuses their employees not only them they let customers abuse them as well and award them for it cause they don’t care. This location needs a new set of management or put the current management on some training cause the way they handle things now are unprofessional and unacceptable.

Waited 30 min to buy $600 tool nobody came, went to customer service and they were three ladies playing with their phones and said “that’s ok we don’t care” when I said I was just going to leave because it was 30 minutes for someone to unlock a gate. Awful management, they should sponsor an employee diet program too.

I rarely go to home depot... cause, they kinda suck... but they used to have a better poly stain in one color selection... but I just went there to find out they no longer sell the varathane or any oil based poly in ones, only behr water based and maybe I'd of tried it if they offered an oil option...but they didn't and I already don't care for their products, so hard pass... back to Lowe's I go, for forever.

Counted at least 15 employees. Manager John White is the only person in the entire store who can rent a box truck? Kept me waiting 45 minutes while he took returns, mixed paint and who knows what else. May be the worst example of customer service I’ve ever seen.@Home Depot, don’t be in the business of renting vehicles if you can’t support the business.

Hennri in tool/truck rental services provided exceptional customer service and fully explained the rental policy to us but was still willing to help sort out our issue. Great employee.

There are not enough employees to help one find stuff...be prepared to find it on your own. The Home Depot app is simply terrible. Every time I go to pick up a curbside order they can't find my order and then it inevitably takes half an hour for them to locate it. They call me on my phone to advise me that my order is ready, but when I arrive at the store they act like I'm nuts for suggesting that someone would've called me and told me that the order is ready. I seem to always leave there angry and I believe it's time to find another store to shop at...if only for my mental health.

Been in here 4 times trying to get help / buy a fridge. Multiple employees walk by me while I am standing there ( look at the refrigerators) and not one person asks if I need help. This has happened to me many times at particular home Depot.Update...So gave it one more shot and I was pleasantly surprised . I got asked immediately if I needed help by an employee. She was very helpful, Friendly and answered all my questions . So because of this one employee I will raise my rating by one star.

I've delivered to Home Depot's before, and they suck. To find an employee that cares about me, is like finding a virgin at N.Y.U.The receiving girl can't find my in the computer. I called to let them know I was here, 90 minutes ago, which was before my scheduled time.However, after waiting 25 minutes after my appointment time, a far check that doesn't communicate to well, told my to move ( where to? Where? Where? ). Then a guy on the fork lift, who communicated quite well unloaded me in a professional, speedy, manner; taking care of my paperwork.

My wife and I found a bathroom faucet at another Home Depot and was out of stock, so I asked if they could see if another Home Depot stocked them. After going to two Home Depot saying they had them just to find out none were there - so last call was to Bell Port Home Depot, they showed they had 5 in stock and off we go. We get there and after looking there were none to be found. A few people there looked into it and we were still told we don’t have it even though the computer still said there were 5. At this point an employee by the name of Dawn was determined to get to the bottom of this. She was looking all over and even pulling out rolling ladder to look on top but could not find it. Let me tell you this woman Dawn I’m talking about was looking quite a while for us. Still it was no where to be found. She really was going over and beyond to help us find this faucet. Dawn kept not taking no for an answer still kept helping us to figure out where this faucet could be. Dawn finally found it and went the extra mile. That’s what we call good customer service. Thank you Dawn and Thank you Home Depot in Bellport for this lady Dawn. 3/1/2023 2:45 pm.

Two employees stand out; Jim and Tara. One in the Door department and the other in Customer Service. Already called the store to give Tara a HUUUUUUGE shout out for above and beyond CS; Jim has been great with trying to make sure we have everything we need in order to get a new front door. Living in a community with strict rules makes it challenging but great to have individuals as mentioned above to help make this a little less stressful!

I was attempting to purchase a weed wacker but the item was locked with a chain lock. There were no associates in sight so I walked to the customer service desk and told the girl I needed a weed wacker unlocked and she told me to ask someone in the Garden Department. I told her there was no one there and asked if she could call someone and she replied, “maybe”. 😳. After she called on the loudspeaker for someone and no one responded I walked around asking FOUR other associates (one of which was very rude and dismissed me) and no one had the key! Finally a garden department person responded but also didn’t have the key and got a ladder and got me the weed wacker I wanted from way up high. What I thought was gonna take me 5 minutes in and out to accomplish took about a half hour. The store was empty too. I usually shop at local small hardware stores or Lowe’s. Don’t know WHY I decided Home Depot this time. Next time definitely NO Home Depot.

I went to pick up my order. Parked in the correct spot. I used my home Depot app, website and then had to call the store directly. After 35 minutes someone finally came out. If you don't see anyone in 10 minutes, just call. Lesson learned. Next ten another store and I won't be as patient.

I don't like giving bad reviews but... the only thing that I can say about Home Depot is that they need to instead of putting you in front of a computer and make you watch training videos for hours, and then throw you out on the floor and expect you to know what to do and what to say to customers, is to give more hands on training. I noticed that when I go into a Home Depot store a lot of the salespersons either make believe they are on their phone or put their head down and walk a different direction because they don't feel confident enough to do their job or they're just plain lazy and don't want to do it.

I usually have decent and or excellent experiences at this location, but this time was pretty disappointing, went in as usual after checking stock online and was met by a slightly surly associate who told me they won't be restocked for a"while" and whatever is on the racks was "it". Well couldn't get the parts needed for my plumbing repairs had to go to ace hardware and spend 10% more but at least they had what I needed

Large and seem to always have most of what people need most of the time. The location is slightly hidden, and i think that is it's main disadvantage in my eyes. But, still, a firm 4 stars.

These people are doing the best they can with the situation (pandemic) that we are all dealing with. I'm sure the store is stocked to the best of it's capability and the employees are as pleasant and accommodating as can be expected. My suggestion is if you have any prowess with using your smartphone, do so in order to find what you are looking for. Have an exact need for what you want, go in and get it, and get out. There's just not enough room to window shop and maintain social distancing, or look for a free employee. Exercise patience and expedite your purpose as much as possible while visiting Home Depot.

A couple of things about this Home Depot in Bellport, the carts are wiped down before you take them. I'm confident they are clean when I grab one. This next part of my very positive review will sound odd, but it is not as busy as other stores, and because of that, I have never had a hard time finding help right away. Their associates in the store are friendly and helpful.

I love the curbside pick up at this location. Very convenient to order and pay online and just pick it up at the store, provided that the item you're buying is in stock. Otherwise it might be better to have it shipped to your home for free. Customer service is hit-or-miss. You might get a representative who's friendly and helpful, or you might get one who woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning. They have a decent stock of goods like garden supplies, building supplies, and tools. So I'm pretty sure you'll find whatever you need here. But if you don't, then you're most likely going to find it online. Happy shopping!

I called the store seeking help to replace and match some siding that HD installed on my house in 2007!! James in millwork advised me to speak with Jim the next morning as he was a long-standing employee. I went to the store, spoke to Jim who heard and understood my story and walked me upstairs to meet Debbie in the office. Debbie heard me out, told me she needed to make a few calls and that she would call me later. She called back within two hours with the information I needed even though HD no longer does roofing and siding along with suggestions as to what to do next!!!! Just an extraordinary level of personal service from all three of these employees. I have my choice of about 5 stores between houses and I will always choose the Bellport location. The staff here is always helpful and more importantly, available and happy to help.

They have all the wire locked up. I asked for help and was told I needed to find someone in electrical. There was no one else in electrical. Maybe page electrical.

They changed the return policy. If you paid with cash a month ago for a front door and then for whatever you need to return it but lost the receipt you're wont even receiveStore credit. I understand theft and all but nobody's putting a door down their pants.
